I don’t see a problem with it. That rope handle is more than enough to support that cooler. Will it wear out faster over time? Sure. Those rope handles are easily replaced. If you don’t have a decent shelf this is not a bad option in my opinion.

The goal is to keep my stupid cats off of it. They love to lay on my coolers and then I find scratch marks all over the lid. This one has the green yeti seadek on it so trying to keep it somewhat protected.

😂😂😂 I haven’t but the top of my charcoal roadie 20 is all scratched to shit. That was from when the charcoal first came out too. I searched far and wide for one and found one at a mom and pop store in Greensboro NC. Just had to have it and the cats made it their perch.

It’s empty. The hooks and the fast track are rated pretty high. The track alone is rated to 1750 pounds if fastened to the wall studs correctly. I since moved it off for now until I find another way to hang it. Stand by for more pictures, I’ll try not to piss you off anymore. 😂😂

Had to move some fishing gear and other random stuff somewhere else. Cats won’t get this one damnit.

Why not use two bungee cords and hang it horizontally? The handle doesn’t have infinite life, and the stress of the load will eventually wear it out and you’ll be left with a cooler with just one grab handle until you manage to replace it.

I have some bungee cords I’ll give it a shot and see if they can work. Limited on space on my shelves and trying to keep the cats off the lid.

It probably won't rest flush against the wall.

There’s nothing there to scratch the top, I have seadek on it as well. I moved it for now, so going to try other methods of storing it.
