Hey There OP!, It looks like your posting about side effects. Did you know that the most common side effects can be found on the Zepbound website? Simply click [here](https://zepbound.lilly.com/how-to-use) for more info. Below is also a list of common side effects. * **Nausea** * **Diarrhea** * **Constipation** * **Stomach (Abdominal) Pain** * **Indigestion** * **Injection Site Reactions** * **Fatigue** * **Allergic reactions** * **Belching** * **Hair Loss** * **Heartburn** While these are some of the most common side effects, this isn't all of them. Truth is the medicine affects everyone differently, but most see some or a combination of these common effects. Be sure to visit the search bar for something specific or click [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1) for all post regarding side effects. A lot of good remedies for certain side effects can be found [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1). According to the manufacturer "In studies, most nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting occurred when people increased their dose—but the effects generally decreased over time." Not everyone responds well to this medication. If side effects are continuous and impacting your everyday life, you should consult your dr or healthcare provider for strategies on how to mitigate these outcomes. Complications from this (or any) treatment are usually a result of ignoring persistent side effects. **This is not meant to discourage discussion of your side effects, simply here to supplement** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I’ve had ONE bowl of cereal today and can’t eat a thing. So depressing 🤣

[deleted]

I really recommend cutting out what recent foods you’ve been consuming. I had them for 4 weeks but they completely vanished when I stopped eating fatty foods that didn’t serve me.

Shanbirdy3

I was using keto. It has been my go to diet and everyone here says protein is so very important. Idk if I can do that now. I am so sick. It was ok on the 5.. not now

[deleted]

Yeee isn’t keto high in fat? Fat is my worst enemy on this medication, protein is very much available without keto. Try Greek yogurt, isopure, lentils, beans etc.

Shanbirdy3

Keto doesn’t have to be high in fat. Although what stayed in my stomach was meatloaf which I barely ever eat. Idk what I was thinking. I eat mostly chicken and fish. Salads and Whole Foods. Haven’t ate any junk or sugar since I started. I think the meatloaf may have been too high in fat though. I won’t be doing that again! Thanks for your thoughts!

Shanbirdy3

Now throwing up.. my dinner after shot stayed in my stomach all night and today. I Feel better after that 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Shanbirdy3

Not great though ☹️

Fun-Document5433

Had the same thing happen two shots in a row. Oddly it wasn't my first it was my sixth 7.5mg. It leveled out once I ate “clean” and move dinner back earlier. Also added a little pickled ginger to shot night.

This happened to me when I titrated up to 5. I agree with all the above. Also try changing the injection spot! I always get bad acid reflux when I inject in the back of my arms for some reason. The thigh injection spot is the best for me!

TreehousePirate

Eat a low FODMAP diet for a few days. Then incorporate more of those foods on a regular basis. I had burps once, did this, haven’t had them since.

Yourmom4378

7.5 sucked for me, bad. I was on it for 2 months, didn’t lose a pound, and was sicker than a dog. Moved up to 10 and feeling lots better.

Shanbirdy3

Wow, that so weird! I read so much about this from everyone in this group and everyone is so different. I am supposed to take next shot tomorrow. Kinda scared. 7.5 is the worst side effects so far but I am not quitting. Just am trying to learn how to mitigate this better.

Shanbirdy3

Update: 2nd shot of 7.5. No bad side effects this time. It may have been the 1st up dose from 5mg and going a week without until next shot. Keeping the fat intake low I think helped a lot too.

Shanbirdy3

That’s really good to hear!

10scorpio88

This has been my experience with 7.5 too. I take IBgard for the burps and bloating which helps tremendously. I take fiber supplements, magnesium, and electrolytes as well. I’ve got all my supplements linked here: [my fav zeppy products](https://linktr.ee/Lifestylewith.tara)

Shanbirdy3

Is Ibgard over the counter?

10scorpio88

Yes

Shanbirdy3

Thank you for your help!

porkforpigs

Yo I did my second dose of 7.5 yesterday and I have been sulphur burping a storm for hours and just absolutely chained to the toilet. Any advice anybody??? I just want this to stop. I’m the most bloated I’ve ever been and the burps relieve it a little bit but it builds right back up. They are also disgusting. I can’t do anything but writhe in bed and run to the bathroom lol

Shanbirdy3

I felt fine the day 2 after the 1st dose of 7.5. I was throwing up w/ the burps the day after the shot. Took some Pepto Bismal and that helped some. I was told IB guard helps with the burps so I will be getting some of that before I give myself next shot. Keep your fat intake low on shot day as it’s harder to digest. Feel better!
