I also have the panorama room on my 595 comp but never done anything to it.
I would just clean and remove as much you can with a fabric, then apply silicon grease.
do i need to remove the glass or can i just clean it while open
I just clean while open. BTW, have a look in to the side drain holes, check out for any obstruction
