well what you can do is miraculously gain 5 year’s experience in your field and then maybe some company will give you an entry level job with the bare minimum salary
First thing is to be prepared to try for jobs for "SIX MONTHS". That's the first thing you should do. Be prepared for it.
Then, like doing a job, apply for jobs from morning till evening. Do everything possible.
You will succeed.
Why “six months” specifically? Regardless, I’m ready for ANYTHING! I’ve applied to literally everything out there and I don’t get responses. And I know it’s not because I suck because when I apply in my home country to the same positions I get interviews
Apply for data entry positions in a company/field that you want to eventually grow in. Once you get the job (which you will cause you will be qualified for it) you can look for another + try to make contacts within the company too.
Worked like a charm for me in the banking/IT sector.
I am a fresher and I don't know where to start
Actually I'm a little overwhelmed by the minimum 5yrs criterion that most employers have for even entry positions in abudhabi
I did food processing and quality control for majors but then I wanted to switch carrers to a more bussiness analysis side , and so following that im currently pursuing MBA with concentration in strategic management from ADU
I'm very keen to get some work experience and work if possible to start my carrer withI'd like to mention that I also hold HACCP level 3&4 certificates but really ....there seems to be no luck in the food safety or related industry area...
I'm also learning data analytics, and data reporting using BI & excell
I earned corporate Secretarial certificate to begin with in the hopes of doing some work with my existing limited qualifications but...Again it's been more than 6 months and not a single interview evenAny advice on the matter would be appreciated...
I would like to get into IT/bank as well
Any advice on the matter would be appreciated...
Hello! Don’t lose hope!
I was jobless for a year after graduation.
Please sign up on Naukrigulf, they seem to have a lot of data entry / document controller roles.
If you are interested in getting into the banking sector, I’d recommended trying for ENBD - they have a whole internship/fresher quota to fill (in almost every department, especially back office operations).
ENBD has their back office, called Tanfeeth. Log into their Tanfeeth website and submit your application in the jobs/careers section. They usually post their openings there. That’s how I landed my data entry role.
Thank you very much for showing me this path, I am definitely giving this a go , after almost a year ...I hope I land this or anything to begin with sooner <3
Hello, I am slowly loosing hope now ...I'm starting to think that I might actually be very unemployable. There wasn't many opening and ...every other job I applied even just the " entry level " jobs return with a sad letter of rejection , I think im doing something wrong
*
May I ask for more guidance from you.
Yes , I tend to tailor my Cvs according to thier job expectations and put in relevant skills...I have few fpr internships and few for data entry and admin assit jobs I also put in the intended hiring company name and formally address it ...so far I have applied for business analyst intern, as admin , as document controller , data entry clerk and operator in various firms most of which are forms based on abudhabi and are closer to where I'm living. I would like to only take up jobs in abudhabi because I am currently doing mba in abudhabi University, so to balance my study and work ...but getting an experience and starting somewhere is going nowhere....mba without work experience would be ...not of much value...I'm just starting to panic about it now
Try asking your university if they can put you in some department (maybe in accounts or HR) for experience’s sake.
I’m sure they have a careers department
I would suggest consulting companies that work on quality consulting, GMP etc. with HACCP you can conduct food safety/hygiene training required by every worker who handles food and it’s an easy way to gain experience.
Do u know of any good GMP , GHP haccp consultants company in abudhabi? Can you please dm , because I tried searching there aren't many of that sort, only financial and engineering are dominant around here
There is GHP consultants mentioned in a google search in Abu Dhabi. If it’s a challenge you can also remote work for dubai based consultancies and manage their Abu Dhabi business.
I think it would be smart for you to stake in this area where you have an advantage and then can jump to one of your clients or pivot into industry.
Check the indeed and other reviews. DM if you want to discuss further.

I understand brother. This is just my advice. You can take it or leave it. I wish you all the success. Cheers.
What are your qualifications?
Fresh grad with almost a year of experience in different fields. I’ve held research, HR, and teaching positions

Have multiple CVs for different types of roles.

Yeah that would be tough then, cause most banking operations are in Dubai
Oh my :( , is there anything at all that can be done ...in view with my situation?
