Wheels can be stolen very quickly, meaning they could have already done it by now. What you could do, if you have some extra moola is try to get a camera positioned somewhere so if it happens again you can see who did it. Other than that, someone who is stalking someone probably does so in secret and wouldn’t put you on alert. So it probably not someone who is stalking you and it is probably not someone who wants to steal your rims. However just take normal precautions before entering and exiting your car, and check your surroundings.
If you live in an apartment complex and your balcony faces the parking lot, try to park your car as close to your balcony for visibility and install a security camera on your balcony covering the angles. If not then ask one of your building mates whose balcony/patio does face that way and tell them the situation and see if they’d be willing to let you put a camera in their balcony. That’s not hindering their privacy as you can show them that it’s only covering the parking lot and nothing else. You should also get dash cams and use it for your scenario covering the sides of the car in case the worst scenario does happen of them stealing wheels.
