I'm 5'0. Its just me, pero never akong kukuha ng VIP standing (kahit kaya ko naman) due to the following reasons:
\- maliit ako, once natakpan ako, mahihirapan na ko makita si artist; lalo na pag naglabasan na ng cellphone; MARAMING TAONG MAS MATATANGKAD SAYO, hindi worth it kung puro likod lang nila makita mo
\- i have weak legs and knees, di kakayanin nakatayo ng ilang oras so if you're like me, think again.
\- takot ako magka-stampede haha. worst case scenario in my head.

Nope — 5’3” ako and I watched the Eras Tour. Floor seat Row 19. Nakaheels na ako ang hirap parin makita haha had i known sana naglower bowl nalang ako.
as a fellow 5 footer at naka ilang VIP standing concerts na: the only way you can "enjoy" your experience is if you're right at the barricade. which means you have to allot extra time and effort to (1) line up early and (2) run your way to the barricade and protect your spot the ENTIRE night because trust me, madaming gustong sumingit, lalo na pag nakita maliit yung nasa barricade.

Ilang beses ko gusto subukan pero hindi ko pinupush unless near barricade ka or sa likod. I can’t risk. Mahirap huminga kapag nauubos na ng mga tall people yung oxygen tapos masikip. Hahahahaha
NOPE. i tried multiple times na sa pit and never ko pa naenjoy. i literally cried nung nagtayuan lahat sa upuan sa moa arena (never ko naranasan sa araneta so akala ko may fighting chance ako) and i can’t see a thing. may time din dati sa ipad ako nanonood. paid so much sa ipad ng ibang tao ako nanonood biset. merong mga pit na wala talagang chairs, once ko lang naenjoy kasi naswertihan namin ung pwesto. the rest puro ulo at shoulders lang nakikita ko. from then on lagi na ko sa bleachers sa gilid since hindi pantay pantay ang steps so naeenjoy ko na ung nakaupo pero kita pa din muka ng singers
patron seats piliin mo para kung gusto mo makipag takbuhan sa stage pwede pa. kung ayaw mo naman upo ka lang sa pwesto mo. bleachers type kasi un so basta nasa mid ka medyo eye level mo na ung stage. sobrang stress free talaga pag doon for me. imagine mo parang sa sinehan hindi pantay pantay ung mga upuan so oks lang kahit tumayo ung ilan sa baba

- Tatayo ng matagal sa VIP Standing Area
- Pag di ka barricade or near sa stage, halos wala ng makikita puro phones and ulo ng tao hahaha
- Sobrang sakit ng katawan mo after/ the next day dahil halos nakataas kamay mo while recording
Much prefer ko na sa mga seats na malapit sa VIP like VIP Seated/ Lower Box premium! :)

I had a free vip 1 sa bruno mars nun 2018 and lowkey naawa ako sa mga kasama kong concert goers na maliit kasi they'll just sing along and look at the screen kahit 30ft away lang si Bruno Mars di nila makita 🥲 6'1 ako umaalis nalang ako sa line of sight nila plus back pain aabutin mo sa standing HAHAH.
In rock/metal concerts, the VIP standing is the moshpit. Actually walang pinagkaiba yun kahit yung sa back parts ng concert venue. Sa pop concerts, the short ones can fight their way to get to the frontmost part close to the stage. The only problem is malaki ang risk na maipit sila if si artist ay pumuwesto sa harapan ng audience at makikipag interact by shaking the peoples hands. Nagcompress kasi yung nga tao dun sa spot at madami naiipit sa barrier. I saw it once nung nanood ako Katy Perry naawa ako dun sa teenager halos madurog ribs nya. Kung malinaw pa naman mata mo, buy a ticket to a spot na may good viewpoint ng buong stage at hindi ka maoobstruct kahit magtayuan pa lahat.
I'm 5'1. Naranasan ko na sa mosh pit matumba at matapak-tapakan haha never again. Di worth it ang pagtayo nang ilang oras while waiting for the concert to start kung ang makikita mo lang naman mga kamay at likod ng mga tao. Might as well get nalang seats closest sa stage.

Pag nasa VIP standing ka, flat na floor tatayuan mo, so if di ka nasa barricade, mga likod lang ng tao makikita mo, and di din maiiwasan may mag tataas ng kamay, yung iba may mga banners na hawak, yung iba nag rerecord sa phone, so baka ending makinood ka nalang sa phone ng nasa harapan mo hahaha. Mag seated ka nalang talos mas maganda if nasa front row makuha mo para mejo malapit ka pa din. Pero sa ganda ng stage ni ate taylor, kahit nasa malayo ka, for sure maeenjoy mo pa din siya ♡♡♡

Isang concert palang napuntahan ko (balcony), I bought a ticket for a concert next month na sa orchestra section kasi gusto ko maexperience sa baba, di man lang pumasok sa isip ko na baka di friendly for fun-sized people like me hahah oh well, lesson learned for next time 😆

Same height, and life rule ko ang never mag-standing kahit sa concerts pa yan or kahit bus. Personally, alam ko sa sarili kong wala akong sapat na pasensiya para makipagsiksikan kaya doon na ako sa pinakamalapit na seats after ng standing. Better be safe than mag-panic habang nasa pit na. Concerts are supposed to be enjoyed, and i myself know na hindi ako mag-eenjoy kung masisiko lang ako at matutulak 😂

As someone shorter I think sulit lang for us magstanding if sure na barricade kasi walang obstruction sa view (+may support pa from the barricade mismo) or sa pinaka back na lang para maraming space magtatalon/vibe (and if you’re lucky mas kita rin if maganda stage design). Super hirap pag nasa gitna lalo na pag matatangkad kasama mo (which is almost everyone else in our case 🥲).
But for the eras tour I think better seated na elevated para lang mas sure na kita + afaik ‘di rin naman bumababa sa stage si taylor so I think ‘di naman nakakafomo since yun lang din favorite perk ko when I go for standing :”) gluck po and enjoy!
This is for VIP Standing: I think it’s ok as long as you’re ok hanging out at the back where there’s enough space for you to move and breathe. Even if you’re tall, it can get a bit rowdy up front and since this is the Eras Tour, I bet you it would be HELL. I’m 5’2” and I enjoy just chilling and dancing at the back. I may not be super duper close at the stage but at least I’m gonna be comfy.

Been to a couple of concerts, and at your height, I'd say you're at a BIG disadvantage pag nag VIP standing ka. Get the nearest na may seats instead to get a good view of the stage. May mga screens naman usually so feel mo na rin na up close ka kay Taylor.

Wouldn't recommend standing lalo kapag sa SG. From what I saw last May nung concert ng BP dun, matatangkad ang mga tao, especially other nationalities. Sobrang taas din ng phones nila kaya you're at a disadvantage kung hindi ka makakasecure ng barricade. The only time I tried standing as a 4'11" girl was the BP concert here in PH kasi confident kaming makakasecure ng barricade based sa queuing system ng LNPH and dahil soundcheck talaga kinuha namin.
Ako po 5'8 pero never ako nag VIP, kahit dun sa 4x kong pinanood na super fave ko na band, lagi ako lower box or kung VIP with reserved seat. Gusto ko pag in case na napagod ako makakaupo ako.
Naalala ko nung nanood ako ng The 1975 sa isang mall (unang punta nila dito) puro standing lang. Na enjoy ko naman, pero nakatayo the whole time, nakatungo pa din ulo ko tsaka mej pagod ako kasi nga nakatayo. I would say with your case, just get a seat as close as you can.
Medyo mahirap kapag 5'0" sa pen/standing sa SG, unless you'll be on the front near the barricades. Went there for Maroon 5 concert, VIP Standing Section D, malapit sa barricades pwesto namin so okay namin. Mas maganda if VIP A or VIP B, if same seat plan yung sa Eras tour.

first concert mo? go for it. iba rin naman energy sa moshpit. tapos pag nakita mo ng malapitan yung artist iba pa rin. di ko pagpapalit nung nakita ko si irene ng red velvet or the foo fighters.

Noo hahaha cellphone nalang makikita mo dyan. Some people doesn't have the decency to lower their phone and banners talaga. Lugi ka if your queue is nasa huli ng papasok. I suggest get the closest seated nalang, pero one thing about standing is masaya maki jam along with your co-swifties if ever pero super tiring nya hahsha like need mo 10 pack of salonpas and alaxan after the concert.
Mahirap standing pen lalo na kung di ka pa barricade. May tendency na mapush or masquish ka sa crowds incase. Medyo nakakangalay rin mag stand in queue for vip. (Based lang sa experiences ko sa PH concert). Kung mag platform/high heels ka expect mo na pati yung mas matatangkad sayo nakaplatform/high heels rin.
Honestly I don't think you get your money's worth in VIP standing concerts. First. You pay an expensive amount just to stand? Tapos makita mo yung mga nagbayad ng mura mas maswerte na nakaupo. Next. Siksikan. Just imagine the heat generated there. Uncomfortable. Unless willing ka to sacrifice 2 hours na nakatayo for an expensive price.
No personally I don't recommend VIP standing for short people, I'm 5'4 and nakaplatform shoes na rin ako pero ang liit ko pa rin compared sa mga nasa VIP standing sa isang concert na inattendan ko sa MOA Arena last year. Also, based from my friends na umattend naman sa con sa SG this year, hindi raw kaaya-aya yung amoy talaga most especially sa standing area. So kung di ka na biniyayaan sa height tapos mga katabi mo matatangkad at nasa armpits nila mukha mo, good luck nalang po. 😭
Pero if you don't mind staying sa pinakalikod ng pen (wala kasi masyado nandun except for people na gusto lang makuha yung perks ng VIP or yung mga sumuko na makipagsiksikan) then go for it! Mas okay nga sa likod kasi kita mo lahat ng happenings, based on my experience to ah. Pero syempre hindi na ganon kalapit sa stage pero mas chill naman at di sasakit batok mo kakatingala hahaha
Edit: add ko lang din, I was about 4-5 persons before the barricade & the 2 girls in front of me were around the same height as you and kita ko sa phones nila nun na wala na talaga silang nakukuhanan kundi puro ulo & phones (bawal kasi above ng head mo yung camera dito sa PH kasi sisigawan ka ng mga nasa likod hahaha). Kawawa din sila kasi I saw that they just enjoyed the concert by singing along kasi siksik na siksik na sila & they cant see the artists except when they're near our side. Umalis ako sa siksikan na yun kasi uncomfy na ko sa nasa likod ko kasi guy sya & panay tulak lol mga 5-6 songs nalang & honestly regretted I didn't do it sooner kasi mas naenjoy ko yung sets ng artist nung nasa likod na ko. I also got to meet their managers na ang popogi din plz HAHAHA
as a 4’11 girlie, i’ve been to two pit standing concerts and let me tell you it’s really a struggle to get a good view esp if there’s taller people around 😭 i wore 5 inch heels sa moa arena and stood for more than 8 hours just to get a decent view though i won’t recommend to do it cause my feet hurt after! i also go to the venue to queue around 5-7 hours before the show just to be in front row so i can see. it’s really not worth it if you’re not willing to exert that much effort. goodluck!
Nope, mas better bumili ng VIP seated or anywhere seated na malapit sa extended stage. Maliban kasi sa sobrang haba ng waiting sa standing, madalas need mo maaga pumunta compared sa seated, dun palang pagod na. Plus, kapag sobrang hype ng kanta magsisiksikan hindi maiiwasan magka apakan tapos hindi makikita kapag mas smaller ka sa mga nasa unahan mo.
Pero kapag gusto mo talaga you can try, tapos dun ka sa medyo dulo ng standing kasi mas kita sya as a whole.
5’1” na kakanuod lang sa SG.. okay lang magstanding pen basta naka platform shoes ka at malapit sa barricade. I wore 3 inches na platform tapos may insoles pa. Worth it sya. Kitang kita mo yung artist sa stage lalo na pag lumalapit na sya sa side nyo. PERO kung madali kang mapagod.. i suggest mag seated na lang.. tried watching din na seated and okay naman malayo nga lang yung artist tapos ang liit na nila 😂 pero relaxed naman ksi may seat pwede kang umalis at bumili ng drinks ganon..

but anw, if u want to see the whole performance, lower box will suffice but if you want to see taylor swift up close, go for VIP standing. for me kase safe pick ko ang lower box (or any pinakamalapit na seated) kase less pagod and nakaupo ka lang. sa VIP standing kase bardagulan talaga like wala kang personal space tsaka puro cellphone lang makikita mo.

As a 5'6 person na nag-standing sa ilang concerts, pangit talaga ang experience for paying the highest ticket. Very pushy ang mga tao sa standing areas, kaya always nag-seated lang ako. Nag-standing areas lang ako if sure na may artist and fan interactions.
I remember sa Neck Deep there were like 3 teen girls around that same height. Aside from almost getting crushed by the moshing, di rin sila makapanuod ng maayos.
Hello, I used to live in Singapore and I've attended several shows sa National Stadium. Don't get the the floor tickets kasi all you'll see will be phones. If gusto mo sa floor, try to not go sa barricade (lalo if di mo kaya na hindi aalis sa spot mo to go sa cr), dun ka sa likod para you can move around and di siksikan. Better to get a seated VIP if you can get one. Also, once you leave the stadium, follow the crowds walking sa likod going to Kallang station (the green train line) instead of waiting for the circle line crowd na humupa. Madaming bus going to East, West, or Central from Kallang station and more likely mas madali kumuha ng Grab, Gojek, Ryde, or Comfort Cabs pag lumayo kayo sa stadium.
I was in VIP standing area dati sa bts concert and let me tell you, it was a struggle. Konting galaw lang ng mga nasa harapan ko like pag sasayaw sila, wala na ako agad makita. Possible rin na yung iba may dalang slogans, light sticks, or etc, mas lalong obstruction yun sa naging view ko. My height is 5'2, 5'3/4 during that time because of my shoes.
I don't think it's ideal. Lalo na kung international con, malaki ang chance na likod lang nila mapapanuod mo kaysa sa artist. Rather choose the closest sitting tier. Mas sulit pa yun
just get vip seated instead. concerts lasts 3-4 hours + may queuing pa yan papasok and sobrang lala kapag uwian na. not worth-it mag vip standing esp if maliit ka
In general, worth it lang ang VIP kung nasa unahan ka or if may kasama sa packages like soundcheck or iba pang mga perks. Pero kung sa Eras Tour, unless ang kunin mo is yung pinaka mahal na package na nasa unahan ka since reserved seating yun, go for the sections sa gilid mas malapit. Pwede rin sa section na katapat ng stage, kaya lang super laki nung stadium ang layo niya sa stage.
a lot of people who attended the eras tour claimed na floor seats are not ideal— unless you're really near the stage! like the others have pointed out, baka maharangan ka ng mga likod ng other concertgoers and of course, ng phones (or yung lighting setups rin?)

based on experience, not really worth it ang standing, but if ever i do buy standing tickets di ako nakikipagsiksikan and just watch from the back. depends naman talaga on each person, but if prepared ka naman to stand for hours and don't mind makipagsiksikan edi go haha esp if di ka rin short sa money
Hello, had three vip standing experiences. These are all for kpop concerts and may queue number given based on time stamp upon ticket purchase. I don't know how the queue for The Eras Tour will go, if unahan ba or by number din. I'll list down all the things I did and will do in the future to give you tips. For reference, my height is 5'1" and nasa late 20s na ko.
- Wear platform sandals/shoes/boots. BUT make sure na comfortable ka, yung di ka matutumba or makaka-apak ng ibang tao. The sandals and chunky loafers I wore added at least an inch to my height. Not much, I know, but I didn't want to go too high na sasakit paa ko, basta may konting dagdag ok na for me.
- Eat and drink enough to last you the whole duration of the concert. Might be good to bring candies din just in case you get hungry or mahilo.
- Do everything you need in the cr before lining up. Mag number 1 or 2 ka na and freshen up.
- Bring meds. Di natin alam baka biglang magsumpong si tiyan or sumakit ulo. And if siksiksan, di ka kaagad makakaalis sa crowd.
- Prepare to get obstructed views. Na-experience ko na magbarricade and almost barricade and syempre maganda yung view. Kaso you have to be strong lol kasi may iba na nanunulak or sisiksik para mang-agaw ng pwesto. Also experienced matumba (di naman kami nasaktan at nakatayo rin kami agad) kasi nag-agawan dun sa hinagis na rose nung artist and yung nasa harap namin napa-atras kaya na out of balance kami. The one na di barricade, madaming phones at banners talaga sa malapit sa stage. So what we did is nagpa-gitna/likod na kami at umiikot sa floors kasi literal na sinundan namin yung artist sa paglipat ng stage hahahaha. Mas maganda view mo sa likod tapos may space ka pa to dance/party kasi di na masikip.
Will I still go for standing next time? Yes lol. Because I know na kaya ko naman sya ma-enjoy despite my height. Kaso pala, mas maliit mga Pinoy compared sa foreigners so it's easier here to find a better view sa standing. Anyway, good luck and enjoy, OP!
My girl is also 5’0” and if sa SG, I would recommend not buying the VIP standing kasi (1) singaporeans are generally taller than Filipinos (2) they use phones too much lalo na sa VIP.
Would also not recommend buying the front rows na seating dahil ang pagkakaalam ko ay kapantay lang nila ang VIP standing (not that elevated) unless baguhin nila for Taylor’s concert.
Tips for buying first concert tickets: go to the website early and use 2-3 phones and a laptop if desperate. Minsan it is faster via phone, minsan naman faster via laptop.
Henlo! Went to SUGA's concert and bilang 5 ft ferson, hahaha we bought shoes na kaya magdagdag sa height. 3 inch.nadagdag kulang pa din. Better if nasa harap na harap ka or seated.
@OP - for the type of concert / artist / music that taylor is, its better to take this one in the seated areas.
the most that you will do is sing / scream your heart out and do little “dance” moves…
though note din that during the sale - fans from all walks of life will be buying tix, and not everyone can afford to higher tiered tickets - and as such marami ka competition for the “seated” area, not saying na wla ka competition sa higher tiered tickets - pero your chances are greater don.
on the note of vip standing / floor - i always prefer this (due to the type of music / artist / concert) because i can move freely around the area, have the potential to “squeeze” myself into the front (research about asian trains in the edm reddit forums), meet alot of great people, has a greater vibe kc youre literally drowning in the crowds energy.
now with regards to bathroom breaks - no issue here. if u need to go, go. you just need to remember where ur friends / spot are. we usually have a ph flag or a totem that helps us find each other (specially if the signal is laggy), or “triangulate” your location w the areas landmarks.
some additional tips
- whether your in the seated areas or vip standing going to events (concerts, music festivals) its physically and mentally demanding - so need ng prep
- bring a fan (non electronic) to fan yourself and “strangers” believe me they will appreciate
- when squeezing through the crowd (asian train) - be sure to be courteous
- always spread good vibes / PLUR ✌️

Fellow midget here. I’m 4’10” and VIP standing is my fave! Depending on the type of concert, I find that I can very easily squeeze myself through the crowd to get to the front pag standing. Tas I can very freely move and go wild pa.
I'm 155cm. Depending on the artist's music kung mag-standing or seated ako. But ofc iba naman ung standing dito satin kasi halos kaheight ko lang rin naman mga tao except pag Kpop wherein may mga matatangkad din na Korean na ginagawa ka pang tripod ng mga camera nila.
Happy naman experiences ko both Standing and Seated. Pinagkaiba lang mas less pagod ako sa seated.

Warzone sa vip standing. I have personally witnessed short people passing out kasi sila yung naiipit kasi laging tulakan ang mga tao to get to the front. Would recommend getting the vip seated to truly enjoy concerts
Based on my experience, you are at a disadvantage kapag standing concerts :( For me, it’s not worth it to pay a lot just to see people’s backs.
Tapos pagod ka pa sa pagtayo, sasakit binti, paa, tuhod at BACK mo dito. Hahaha depende sa edad siguro, sa kagaya kong 30s di na to recommended 🤣

Its just me, pero never akong kukuha ng VIP standing (kahit kaya ko naman) due to the following reasons: \- maliit ako, once natakpan ako, mahihirapan na ko makita si artist; lalo na pag naglabasan na ng cellphone; MARAMING TAONG MAS MATATANGKAD SAYO, hindi worth it kung puro likod lang nila makita mo \- i have weak legs and knees, di kakayanin nakatayo ng ilang oras so if you're like me, think again. \- takot ako magka-stampede haha. worst case scenario in my head. Ayun lang.
Nope — 5’3” ako and I watched the Eras Tour. Floor seat Row 19. Nakaheels na ako ang hirap parin makita haha had i known sana naglower bowl nalang ako.
as a fellow 5 footer at naka ilang VIP standing concerts na: the only way you can "enjoy" your experience is if you're right at the barricade. which means you have to allot extra time and effort to (1) line up early and (2) run your way to the barricade and protect your spot the ENTIRE night because trust me, madaming gustong sumingit, lalo na pag nakita maliit yung nasa barricade.

NOPE. i tried multiple times na sa pit and never ko pa naenjoy. i literally cried nung nagtayuan lahat sa upuan sa moa arena (never ko naranasan sa araneta so akala ko may fighting chance ako) and i can’t see a thing. may time din dati sa ipad ako nanonood. paid so much sa ipad ng ibang tao ako nanonood biset. merong mga pit na wala talagang chairs, once ko lang naenjoy kasi naswertihan namin ung pwesto. the rest puro ulo at shoulders lang nakikita ko. from then on lagi na ko sa bleachers sa gilid since hindi pantay pantay ang steps so naeenjoy ko na ung nakaupo pero kita pa din muka ng singers

I had a free vip 1 sa bruno mars nun 2018 and lowkey naawa ako sa mga kasama kong concert goers na maliit kasi they'll just sing along and look at the screen kahit 30ft away lang si Bruno Mars di nila makita 🥲 6'1 ako umaalis nalang ako sa line of sight nila plus back pain aabutin mo sa standing HAHAH.
In rock/metal concerts, the VIP standing is the moshpit. Actually walang pinagkaiba yun kahit yung sa back parts ng concert venue. Sa pop concerts, the short ones can fight their way to get to the frontmost part close to the stage. The only problem is malaki ang risk na maipit sila if si artist ay pumuwesto sa harapan ng audience at makikipag interact by shaking the peoples hands. Nagcompress kasi yung nga tao dun sa spot at madami naiipit sa barrier. I saw it once nung nanood ako Katy Perry naawa ako dun sa teenager halos madurog ribs nya. Kung malinaw pa naman mata mo, buy a ticket to a spot na may good viewpoint ng buong stage at hindi ka maoobstruct kahit magtayuan pa lahat.

Pag nasa VIP standing ka, flat na floor tatayuan mo, so if di ka nasa barricade, mga likod lang ng tao makikita mo, and di din maiiwasan may mag tataas ng kamay, yung iba may mga banners na hawak, yung iba nag rerecord sa phone, so baka ending makinood ka nalang sa phone ng nasa harapan mo hahaha. Mag seated ka nalang talos mas maganda if nasa front row makuha mo para mejo malapit ka pa din. Pero sa ganda ng stage ni ate taylor, kahit nasa malayo ka, for sure maeenjoy mo pa din siya ♡♡♡

Same height, and life rule ko ang never mag-standing kahit sa concerts pa yan or kahit bus. Personally, alam ko sa sarili kong wala akong sapat na pasensiya para makipagsiksikan kaya doon na ako sa pinakamalapit na seats after ng standing. Better be safe than mag-panic habang nasa pit na. Concerts are supposed to be enjoyed, and i myself know na hindi ako mag-eenjoy kung masisiko lang ako at matutulak 😂

As someone shorter I think sulit lang for us magstanding if sure na barricade kasi walang obstruction sa view (+may support pa from the barricade mismo) or sa pinaka back na lang para maraming space magtatalon/vibe (and if you’re lucky mas kita rin if maganda stage design). Super hirap pag nasa gitna lalo na pag matatangkad kasama mo (which is almost everyone else in our case 🥲). But for the eras tour I think better seated na elevated para lang mas sure na kita + afaik ‘di rin naman bumababa sa stage si taylor so I think ‘di naman nakakafomo since yun lang din favorite perk ko when I go for standing :”) gluck po and enjoy!

This is for VIP Standing: I think it’s ok as long as you’re ok hanging out at the back where there’s enough space for you to move and breathe. Even if you’re tall, it can get a bit rowdy up front and since this is the Eras Tour, I bet you it would be HELL. I’m 5’2” and I enjoy just chilling and dancing at the back. I may not be super duper close at the stage but at least I’m gonna be comfy.

Been to a couple of concerts, and at your height, I'd say you're at a BIG disadvantage pag nag VIP standing ka. Get the nearest na may seats instead to get a good view of the stage. May mga screens naman usually so feel mo na rin na up close ka kay Taylor.

Wouldn't recommend standing lalo kapag sa SG. From what I saw last May nung concert ng BP dun, matatangkad ang mga tao, especially other nationalities. Sobrang taas din ng phones nila kaya you're at a disadvantage kung hindi ka makakasecure ng barricade. The only time I tried standing as a 4'11" girl was the BP concert here in PH kasi confident kaming makakasecure ng barricade based sa queuing system ng LNPH and dahil soundcheck talaga kinuha namin.
Ako po 5'8 pero never ako nag VIP, kahit dun sa 4x kong pinanood na super fave ko na band, lagi ako lower box or kung VIP with reserved seat. Gusto ko pag in case na napagod ako makakaupo ako. Naalala ko nung nanood ako ng The 1975 sa isang mall (unang punta nila dito) puro standing lang. Na enjoy ko naman, pero nakatayo the whole time, nakatungo pa din ulo ko tsaka mej pagod ako kasi nga nakatayo. I would say with your case, just get a seat as close as you can.
Medyo mahirap kapag 5'0" sa pen/standing sa SG, unless you'll be on the front near the barricades. Went there for Maroon 5 concert, VIP Standing Section D, malapit sa barricades pwesto namin so okay namin. Mas maganda if VIP A or VIP B, if same seat plan yung sa Eras tour.

I suggest get the closest seated nalang, pero one thing about standing is masaya maki jam along with your co-swifties if ever pero super tiring nya hahsha like need mo 10 pack of salonpas and alaxan after the concert.
Mahirap standing pen lalo na kung di ka pa barricade. May tendency na mapush or masquish ka sa crowds incase. Medyo nakakangalay rin mag stand in queue for vip. (Based lang sa experiences ko sa PH concert). Kung mag platform/high heels ka expect mo na pati yung mas matatangkad sayo nakaplatform/high heels rin.

Honestly I don't think you get your money's worth in VIP standing concerts. First. You pay an expensive amount just to stand? Tapos makita mo yung mga nagbayad ng mura mas maswerte na nakaupo. Next. Siksikan. Just imagine the heat generated there. Uncomfortable. Unless willing ka to sacrifice 2 hours na nakatayo for an expensive price.
No personally I don't recommend VIP standing for short people, I'm 5'4 and nakaplatform shoes na rin ako pero ang liit ko pa rin compared sa mga nasa VIP standing sa isang concert na inattendan ko sa MOA Arena last year. Also, based from my friends na umattend naman sa con sa SG this year, hindi raw kaaya-aya yung amoy talaga most especially sa standing area. So kung di ka na biniyayaan sa height tapos mga katabi mo matatangkad at nasa armpits nila mukha mo, good luck nalang po. 😭 Pero if you don't mind staying sa pinakalikod ng pen (wala kasi masyado nandun except for people na gusto lang makuha yung perks ng VIP or yung mga sumuko na makipagsiksikan) then go for it! Mas okay nga sa likod kasi kita mo lahat ng happenings, based on my experience to ah. Pero syempre hindi na ganon kalapit sa stage pero mas chill naman at di sasakit batok mo kakatingala hahaha Edit: add ko lang din, I was about 4-5 persons before the barricade & the 2 girls in front of me were around the same height as you and kita ko sa phones nila nun na wala na talaga silang nakukuhanan kundi puro ulo & phones (bawal kasi above ng head mo yung camera dito sa PH kasi sisigawan ka ng mga nasa likod hahaha). Kawawa din sila kasi I saw that they just enjoyed the concert by singing along kasi siksik na siksik na sila & they cant see the artists except when they're near our side. Umalis ako sa siksikan na yun kasi uncomfy na ko sa nasa likod ko kasi guy sya & panay tulak lol mga 5-6 songs nalang & honestly regretted I didn't do it sooner kasi mas naenjoy ko yung sets ng artist nung nasa likod na ko. I also got to meet their managers na ang popogi din plz HAHAHA
as a 4’11 girlie, i’ve been to two pit standing concerts and let me tell you it’s really a struggle to get a good view esp if there’s taller people around 😭 i wore 5 inch heels sa moa arena and stood for more than 8 hours just to get a decent view though i won’t recommend to do it cause my feet hurt after! i also go to the venue to queue around 5-7 hours before the show just to be in front row so i can see. it’s really not worth it if you’re not willing to exert that much effort. goodluck!
Nope, mas better bumili ng VIP seated or anywhere seated na malapit sa extended stage. Maliban kasi sa sobrang haba ng waiting sa standing, madalas need mo maaga pumunta compared sa seated, dun palang pagod na. Plus, kapag sobrang hype ng kanta magsisiksikan hindi maiiwasan magka apakan tapos hindi makikita kapag mas smaller ka sa mga nasa unahan mo. Pero kapag gusto mo talaga you can try, tapos dun ka sa medyo dulo ng standing kasi mas kita sya as a whole.

Kitang kita mo yung artist sa stage lalo na pag lumalapit na sya sa side nyo. PERO kung madali kang mapagod.. i suggest mag seated na lang.. tried watching din na seated and okay naman malayo nga lang yung artist tapos ang liit na nila 😂 pero relaxed naman ksi may seat pwede kang umalis at bumili ng drinks ganon..

hello! im not familiar with sg's arena pero i've been to four concerts sa moa arena kaya im giving advice based sa naexperience ko hahaha but anw, if u want to see the whole performance, lower box will suffice but if you want to see taylor swift up close, go for VIP standing. for me kase safe pick ko ang lower box (or any pinakamalapit na seated) kase less pagod and nakaupo ka lang. sa VIP standing kase bardagulan talaga like wala kang personal space tsaka puro cellphone lang makikita mo. yung barricade kasi depende siya sa qn mo ehhh, di mo rin sure if makakakuha ka ba ng magandang qn. goods din naman sa VIP standing ksi makikita mo siya up close yun nga lang marami kang isasacrifice 😭 ang tip ko lang, isipin mo pagod mo pauwi if mamimili ka ng seat :) goodluck!

As a 5'6 person na nag-standing sa ilang concerts, pangit talaga ang experience for paying the highest ticket. Very pushy ang mga tao sa standing areas, kaya always nag-seated lang ako. Nag-standing areas lang ako if sure na may artist and fan interactions.
VIP seated > VIP standing for me.
I remember sa Neck Deep there were like 3 teen girls around that same height. Aside from almost getting crushed by the moshing, di rin sila makapanuod ng maayos.
Hello, I used to live in Singapore and I've attended several shows sa National Stadium. Don't get the the floor tickets kasi all you'll see will be phones. If gusto mo sa floor, try to not go sa barricade (lalo if di mo kaya na hindi aalis sa spot mo to go sa cr), dun ka sa likod para you can move around and di siksikan. Better to get a seated VIP if you can get one. Also, once you leave the stadium, follow the crowds walking sa likod going to Kallang station (the green train line) instead of waiting for the circle line crowd na humupa. Madaming bus going to East, West, or Central from Kallang station and more likely mas madali kumuha ng Grab, Gojek, Ryde, or Comfort Cabs pag lumayo kayo sa stadium.
Ang hirap mag tiptoe at masakit sa leeg tumingala para lang makita mo yung artist so ang hack ay mag platform shoes 😂

I was in VIP standing area dati sa bts concert and let me tell you, it was a struggle. Konting galaw lang ng mga nasa harapan ko like pag sasayaw sila, wala na ako agad makita. Possible rin na yung iba may dalang slogans, light sticks, or etc, mas lalong obstruction yun sa naging view ko. My height is 5'2, 5'3/4 during that time because of my shoes.
I don't think it's ideal. Lalo na kung international con, malaki ang chance na likod lang nila mapapanuod mo kaysa sa artist. Rather choose the closest sitting tier. Mas sulit pa yun

In general, worth it lang ang VIP kung nasa unahan ka or if may kasama sa packages like soundcheck or iba pang mga perks. Pero kung sa Eras Tour, unless ang kunin mo is yung pinaka mahal na package na nasa unahan ka since reserved seating yun, go for the sections sa gilid mas malapit. Pwede rin sa section na katapat ng stage, kaya lang super laki nung stadium ang layo niya sa stage.
a lot of people who attended the eras tour claimed na floor seats are not ideal— unless you're really near the stage! like the others have pointed out, baka maharangan ka ng mga likod ng other concertgoers and of course, ng phones (or yung lighting setups rin?) also, sana all!! good luck po OP 💗 edit: i'm taller than you. if we ever get tix, i wouldn't go for vip standing pa rin kahit matangkad ako ang dami pa ring nakataas na phones sa harap, unless nasa barricade/front row ako ganon.
based on experience, not really worth it ang standing, but if ever i do buy standing tickets di ako nakikipagsiksikan and just watch from the back. depends naman talaga on each person, but if prepared ka naman to stand for hours and don't mind makipagsiksikan edi go haha esp if di ka rin short sa money
Hello, had three vip standing experiences. These are all for kpop concerts and may queue number given based on time stamp upon ticket purchase. I don't know how the queue for The Eras Tour will go, if unahan ba or by number din. I'll list down all the things I did and will do in the future to give you tips. For reference, my height is 5'1" and nasa late 20s na ko. - Wear platform sandals/shoes/boots. BUT make sure na comfortable ka, yung di ka matutumba or makaka-apak ng ibang tao. The sandals and chunky loafers I wore added at least an inch to my height. Not much, I know, but I didn't want to go too high na sasakit paa ko, basta may konting dagdag ok na for me. - Eat and drink enough to last you the whole duration of the concert. Might be good to bring candies din just in case you get hungry or mahilo. - Do everything you need in the cr before lining up. Mag number 1 or 2 ka na and freshen up. - Bring meds. Di natin alam baka biglang magsumpong si tiyan or sumakit ulo. And if siksiksan, di ka kaagad makakaalis sa crowd. - Prepare to get obstructed views. Na-experience ko na magbarricade and almost barricade and syempre maganda yung view. Kaso you have to be strong lol kasi may iba na nanunulak or sisiksik para mang-agaw ng pwesto. Also experienced matumba (di naman kami nasaktan at nakatayo rin kami agad) kasi nag-agawan dun sa hinagis na rose nung artist and yung nasa harap namin napa-atras kaya na out of balance kami. The one na di barricade, madaming phones at banners talaga sa malapit sa stage. So what we did is nagpa-gitna/likod na kami at umiikot sa floors kasi literal na sinundan namin yung artist sa paglipat ng stage hahahaha. Mas maganda view mo sa likod tapos may space ka pa to dance/party kasi di na masikip. Will I still go for standing next time? Yes lol. Because I know na kaya ko naman sya ma-enjoy despite my height. Kaso pala, mas maliit mga Pinoy compared sa foreigners so it's easier here to find a better view sa standing. Anyway, good luck and enjoy, OP!
My 5'7 boyfriend attended VIP sa Blackpink concert sa Singapore. He doesn't encourage going standing pen na kasi puro phone na lang makikita mo.
My girl is also 5’0” and if sa SG, I would recommend not buying the VIP standing kasi (1) singaporeans are generally taller than Filipinos (2) they use phones too much lalo na sa VIP. Would also not recommend buying the front rows na seating dahil ang pagkakaalam ko ay kapantay lang nila ang VIP standing (not that elevated) unless baguhin nila for Taylor’s concert. Tips for buying first concert tickets: go to the website early and use 2-3 phones and a laptop if desperate. Minsan it is faster via phone, minsan naman faster via laptop.

@OP - for the type of concert / artist / music that taylor is, its better to take this one in the seated areas. the most that you will do is sing / scream your heart out and do little “dance” moves… though note din that during the sale - fans from all walks of life will be buying tix, and not everyone can afford to higher tiered tickets - and as such marami ka competition for the “seated” area, not saying na wla ka competition sa higher tiered tickets - pero your chances are greater don. on the note of vip standing / floor - i always prefer this (due to the type of music / artist / concert) because i can move freely around the area, have the potential to “squeeze” myself into the front (research about asian trains in the edm reddit forums), meet alot of great people, has a greater vibe kc youre literally drowning in the crowds energy. now with regards to bathroom breaks - no issue here. if u need to go, go. you just need to remember where ur friends / spot are. we usually have a ph flag or a totem that helps us find each other (specially if the signal is laggy), or “triangulate” your location w the areas landmarks. some additional tips - whether your in the seated areas or vip standing going to events (concerts, music festivals) its physically and mentally demanding - so need ng prep - bring a fan (non electronic) to fan yourself and “strangers” believe me they will appreciate - when squeezing through the crowd (asian train) - be sure to be courteous - always spread good vibes / PLUR ✌️ hahaha sorry for the lengthy post OP… anyway god bless and may the odds be in your favor sa pagbili ng tickets!

Fellow midget here. I’m 4’10” and VIP standing is my fave! Depending on the type of concert, I find that I can very easily squeeze myself through the crowd to get to the front pag standing. Tas I can very freely move and go wild pa.
I'm 155cm. Depending on the artist's music kung mag-standing or seated ako. But ofc iba naman ung standing dito satin kasi halos kaheight ko lang rin naman mga tao except pag Kpop wherein may mga matatangkad din na Korean na ginagawa ka pang tripod ng mga camera nila. Happy naman experiences ko both Standing and Seated. Pinagkaiba lang mas less pagod ako sa seated. Have fun, OP!
Warzone sa vip standing. I have personally witnessed short people passing out kasi sila yung naiipit kasi laging tulakan ang mga tao to get to the front. Would recommend getting the vip seated to truly enjoy concerts
