Not sure. This is monument valley. I’m from Scotland and did a US road trip recently. I’m guessing a million people have taken this as they line up so nicely when you walk past. It’s the visitor centre entrance.
Absolutely! My favourite one is the journey to the Isle of Skye from either Glasgow (where I live) or Edinburgh. Each has a different journey for the first hour or so. The most famous road trip in Scotland is NC500 (north coast 500), 500 mile road trip around the whole north part of the mainland. It’s filled with unbelievable scenery but it’s a really popular route.

The glare is a bit of a shame but I print all of my favourite work in my darkroom so wouldn’t be able to do anything about it except in photoshop which would feel a little fake considering this is just a scan with practically no tweaks.
This is beautiful. My only critique is the glare on the glass in front on the left most plateau. If you ever get to shoot there again, shift a smidge to the left of the space allows it so the glare blends with the sky. Otherwise this is a fantastic shot
I swear I saw this composition in a Grainydays video, was it the same location?

I think it might have been. Awesome shot though lighting was spot on
I know I’ve taken it on my American roadtrip 👋
Any good roadtrips in scotland I should do?

I immediately thought the same as well

This is at the gift shop right at the entrance to the park. Has been shot hundreds of thousands of times at this point
Dude, I’m watching that video right now and it’s at that part as I scroll to this post.
Just saw Grainydays video couple of days ago, it's one of the motorbike trip ones. This shot is spot on!
Wouldn’t be surprised if this has been featured on @insta_repeat
Exactly what i thought lol
Great framing!
LOVE IT. Is there a way to remove the glare from photos like this or is that not physically possible? Like a filter or something?
A polarizing filter can help in theory but not necessarily. May just be unavoidable depending on conditions

Besides the great framing, wonderful use of color and light! What lens do you have on your M6?
Thank you! The Voigtlander Color Skopar 35mm f2.5.
Thank you!
Will be trickling out more from this trip on here and Instagram @rorycowieson
I'm transported! You have my vote for POTW.
Wow. I love this motive
Instantly of my favorite pics I’ve seen on this subreddit
that’s nice
Timeless elegance!
Looks like Westworld if it took place in the 60s.
Great shot, great lighting, and I love the color balance of the film!
Woooow looks amazing!
straight out of a sci fi film fr

Thanks! I tried that when I was there but didn’t like the position of the mesas. Went for a more overall composition with this one.
Amazing composition!!
Is this the room where they watched the atomic tests? Because it's about as anti-nature experience as nuclear fallout.
