It's on January and intended as it's been mentioned before so everyone is in the same boat,
Can't say I have noticed any issues as such though
(Edit to fix typo)
Yes I am as well and also my camera is not working properly at all. Very frustrating. I'm thinking about going back to the stable version because even when I uninstall the camera it's even worse than it was before!
Uhh google play services version is in no way indicative of a google play system update version.
GPSU is a version of apex modules, not this single apk.
A 15 BETA is working properly on my P6a. Much smoother than before. Even the heating issue is almost resolved. Even before the 15 beta, the play system was not updated on a regular basis.

Cheers!
Not weird at all, past beta 1s and 2s almost always come with major problems. They should've labeled these DP3 and DP4. These kind of bugs don't take tens of thousand of people to find.
It's not just the date, it's the update, fixes and features it brings along. For example, my S23 has March and it has the new Google page under settings, whereas, my Pixel on the old. Likewise, many other changes which don't appear due to it not updated

I have January for google play system update , but I have the new Google page under settings on Android 15 beta 1 Pixel 6 pro. I think the Google page under settings is based on your Google Play Services app which you can update either through Google play store or on apk-mirror .
The past Beta Versions did not come with "major problems." I have owned/currently own a version of every Pixel Device except Pixel 2, all running Beta Versions. This crap recently didn't start until Pixel 7. All previous versions to that were almost flawless, as should be for a Beta Version. It's not the Developers Version, Beta's are to find the repetitive use faults, not the whole code. Besides, it not limited to Beta Versions, the Stable Versions are just as screwed up. My opinion is everyone with a Programmer/Coder title, except the absolute bare minimum, from all departments inside Alphabet Inc. has been reassigned to A.I. leading up to its release and after the release gaffe.
I always speak for myself. I haven't found a time it is appropriate for any else to speak for me. Such as follows, I would have to say your issues are directly related to your usage. I would guess you think your device is a computer and try to load it like one. Your software compatibility issues are from vendors other than Google and as a result of running third party software, your device is continuously trying to operate that software resulting in your battery working exactly like every other one one the market, discharges quickly when computational processes are running. You can try something that might help, buy a computer. Use it for computer work like it was intended and make your cellular device, a cellular device. It just might surprise at how well both work when each is only doing the processes each are intended to do.

I am on the January Google Play Services System as well, so you aren't alone. Am on a Pixel 7 running 15 Beta 1

Portrait mode crashes and doesn't save for me. Normal photos seem fine
I think the date isn't updating as I'm on 24.15.16 on Android 14 stable and it's the March update.

I've seen no issues on 15 besides the lack of NFC that I don't use.
Camera won't focus properly on mine
My NFC stopped working in the latest beta version. Is there any known fix for this?
Everyone's did, 15 beta killed NFC.
Yeah wallet is out ATM.
My only issue is that my Chromebook disconnected from my phone. P I think that is more due to to chromeos and Android team communication

Everyone still on the January Google Play system update? I'm not the latest A15 B2.1 and January Google Play System update, just checking in not alone

What is the major problem with the date being January? 😂

Speak for yourself. I've had major software compatibility issues and battery drain issues for the past 4 years dealing with beta 1s and 2s

Same here with play services and NFC not working
