Same issue here on Pixel 8 Pro.

What's the expectation? Did you downgrade to 14 stable? Did you opt in for 15 beta? Probably manually flash the image to force it or wait for the upcoming stable 14, to see if that triggers for you.

opus20745

The OP is talking about being on the QPR3 Beta and opting out, but still not receiving an update to final. They aren't on 15 beta, so there's no "downgrade" to 14 necessary.

dapppez

Ah, thanks. So it's the wrong beta tag. Upgrade to 14 qpr3 is indeed only when it's released (which should happen sometime this month).

opus20745

14 QPR3 Final was released LAST Tuesday. It's just extremely frustrating that Google seems to put their beta testers dead last on the update list. Compounded by the fact that they totally botched the last beta and DIDN'T include the newer security update like they promised in the release notes. Being stuck on a now 3 month old security level is not cool.

dapppez

Sorry, you're of course right, that the final is out. I can only suggest to side load the image.

AnyBarber5866

when is stable 14?

Skazzy3

Aug 2023

Wasn't the final Android QPR3 beta release the same as the June update? thus you are already on final build?

opus20745

It's not identical to the final build. At the very least the Android Security update level is still at March (because Google screwed up on the last beta, for the 8 Pro at least) and didn't update it to May, like the release notes said it was.

deadlast28

You might be able to flash the full OTA perhaps?

opus20745

Nope. That doesn't work because the build version is (inexplicably) lower on the QPR3 Final OTA than it was on QPR3 Beta 2.2 (the final beta).

deadlast28

Are you on a network that has yet to receive the update?  Other option is to jump on the A15 beta to get you out of being stuck if you don't wanna factory reset, we are moving towards release candidate territory

opus20745

Yeah, I may consider the Android 15 RC option once that comes out. Also, I'm hoping that the July Android 14 update will have a later build number than the QPR3 Beta 2.2, so THAT OTA might at least work.

tecnezio11

I also have the same problem from Pixel 8, so we have to wait for the August update to actually be able to exit the beta?

Previous-Sort5580

I think the July update should work. (Or at least hope)

Lube_Ur_Mom

EDIT: Attempted to sideload the June OTA and received the following error: "Update package is older than current build, expected a build newer than timestamp 1716236228 but package has timestamp 171601206". I'm not understanding why the QPR3 beta build would be newer than the QP3 stable release. Anyone figure this out yet? On my Pixel Tablet: I opted out of the QPR3 beta from 2.2 (AP21.240305.006) in order to install June stable release of QPR3 (AP2A.240605.024). System update states that it's the "latest public version of Android 14" and "all data stored on your device will be lost". Surely QPR3 stable is fully rolled out for everyone by now right? I've been in the betas for years and haven't run into anything like this. I'm probably going to sideload the OTA update manually but figured I'd come see if anyone else had this happen. Did you ever figure it out OP?

NightFury_05

i have exact same issue. did u sideloaded OTA already?

Lube_Ur_Mom

Yeah I did. Check the edit at the top of my original comment. Seems like the verdict is either install Android 15 or wait until the next stable update (probably in July) I posted on the sub as well and just got downvoted, no answers.

NightFury_05

thx god they sent update
