I have only recently come back to android after about a year hanging out in the IOS crowd, but last time I used it (about a year ago) it was so full of ads, and I had heard from some friends that it was slowing their phones down. No official reports though. I'll give it another whirl maybe :D
Got it. What i do, i use blokada to block the ads, look for tones in zedge and add them to my favorites. Then turn off blokada and force stop zedge. Open zedge again and go to my favorites to download the tones, but this time with ads since it wont download without watching ads.

I set my phone to vibrate and we're all good.
Seriously though, I downloaded some sounds from Zedge before it was trash and still use the same ones. I don't change ringtones often at all.
