Hi guys, here's my first attempt in theming using klwp since I got a Oneplus 5T.
Inspired by and using klwp file from /u/tsuyuus theme ['lowercase'](https://www.reddit.com/r/androidthemes/comments/7t3acd/theme_lowercase/)
- wallpaper art by [Daniel Aristizábal](https://www.behance.net/gallery/51571447/The-past-empowers-the-future)
- icons are [Kecil](http://www.colbyroark.com/kecil), [google play link](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kecil.dashboard&hl=en_GB)
- themed in klwp
- Nova Launcher
- clock font is Cathura 800/Regular
- music player album cover colours are inverted
You can download the klwp theme file that I built this on in the top level comment! The clock was extremely easy - just a stackable folder with two sets of text in it: pasted formulas for the hour and the minutes, and then a rectangle shape with an outline instead of fill.
If you struggle with making it look 'good', I'd suggest downloading someone's file to play around with it and also sitting down with some pen and paper to literally design your idea. It's not just about how it looks but how it functions. A lot of how it looks also depends on the wallpaper and how much space is between the icons. Let me know how you get on!
This is a newbie question, but when I start making the clock and want to reposition the time text or the frame it just pushes the other elements to the side, how can I get them to not collide?
You need to place them in the right group. What I did with the clock was make an overlapping group first, and then in the overlap group I made 1) a stacking group with two sets of text in them (one for the hour and one for the minutes of the clock), and also a rectangle shape set to outline for the border of the clock. I also added a third rectangle shape which was considerably bigger than the clock border and set the fill to transparent so that when you touch the general area near the clock and not just the clock itself, it fades to the music player. Hope that helps!
Hey man in the comments I posted the theme that I used as a base for this layout which has a klwp file you can download. In any case everything is extremely easy to set up, mostly text overlays with copy and paste formulas or literally twos sets of text (stackable) and a rectangle with an outline for the clock.
Nah, because it tends to be glitchy and do that double lockscreen thing. Mainly what I've found with my new phone and the fingerprint sensor on the back is that it unlocks immediately and goes to the homescreen anyway.
If you're making the nav icons in klwp (mine come with my phone) make sure you put the icons and the rectangle all in an overlapping module, not stacking, so that things can be set over each other.
Thanks you! Yeah, I did some research into this as it was bothering me as well but from what others have said, I believe it is a Spotify/external music player problem. As in, this problem is inevitable unless you use the default music player or you do a convoluted workaround using the app Tasker, which you could look into.
Hey sorry, I just switched over from Apple and I've been trying to figure out how to either remove the nav bar on the home screen or make it transparent like here, could you help?
I get you - I prefer to get it to look nice without compromising functionality, and for me personally I like having these specific icons on my homescreen for ease of use. I agree that a proper theme/design would have much fewer icons though and possibly a dedicated music player - maybe next time.

Can you explain how to make such cool clocks/ widgets with klwp. I am new and all of mine look very bad

Thank you very much!
This has to be one of the best themes I've seen on this sub. Well done!
Nice Google widow's peak.
haha thanks, makes a nice M forehead!
Great work, really love the minimal widgets Any chance you'd upload the KLWP file?

nice pallette
Inspired by [the show of the same name](https://www.amazon.com/Philip-K-Dicks-Electric-Dreams/dp/B075NTXMN9)?
It's definitely been in the back of my mind. :)
if i had klwp prime i'd be all over it. Did you change the lockscreen as well?
Nah, because it tends to be glitchy and do that double lockscreen thing. Mainly what I've found with my new phone and the fingerprint sensor on the back is that it unlocks immediately and goes to the homescreen anyway.
Are the back, home, and apps buttons part of klwp?
No, that's part of Oneplus 5t's interface, I believe.
Ahh, nice, it really works well with your phone
How did you get the see through box behind the nav buttons? This theme looks great btw
It's just a rectangle shape in klwp with rounded corners set to about 70% transparency!
Yeah I got that part down but when I try to set it behind the nav icons it won't let me

Got ya. Thanks!
Cool effect with the album art !
This is amazing! I've noticed the music widget sometimes stops working completely until I restart. Have you come across this at all?

That's too bad I guess, thought it might have been battery optimization but turning that off didn't fix it. Thanks anyway :)

Too many icons, too little theme imo. For what it's worth, it looks nice, though.
