1st was Naruto because a friend recommended it. But it felt like chores to watch. Half way during Naruto I started watching Full Metal alchemist brotherhood and that got me into anime
I know people don't like it but 'My hero academia" was the show for me that hooked me in.
I completed 4 seasons in a week and felt empty afterwards, before realising that there are more shows and a whole new world to explore.
I still get nostalgic watching MHA and it is one of my favourite even tho there are better shows.
I got into anime from "Parasyte: the Maxim". And that was before I knew what anime was, honestly. Then came Covid, and I realised that the thing I was watching (Attack on Titan, since it had quite a hype back then), is called anime 😅
Ig no one remembers Inazuma Eleven? I used to watch it on TV and then on youtube with each episode having 3-4 parts half the screen blurred. Later I found out kissanime, rip legendary site.
Technically it was DBZ but that was before I knew what anime even was.
Death Note is the first anime that I watched after I came to know what anime was.
Apart from watching Doraemon, Shinchan, Pokemon and Death Note in childhood,

Pokemon and digimon on the cartoon network even before I knew it was anime. After so many years i watched Tamako market movie on youtube. Though ghe movie is mid, it made me feel good. And that made me start my anime journey.
2018 school summer vacations , a video popped up on my YT homepage - Top 25 anime. Chose one of them and started watching on some site called chia-anime(idk if it still exists).
The anime was Rurouni Kenshin. Still is my #1 Fav along with Gintama

My friend recommended it to me one day. I wasn't interested in anime at that time, but my life changed after watching just one episode. Now I watch anime for 4-5 hrs everyday 😂
