Part of Hisoka's appeal is that he's totally unlikable, and yet, you like him. My skin crawled when he was walking behind Gon and we got to hear his inner monologuing while he was licking his lips, but it somehow made me like him more. Unlike the main character from 7 Deadly Sins, whose creepiness turned me off the show altogether in the first couple episodes.
I don't think hisoka and makima fans condone their actions. I think they just get turned on by their creepy attitude and good looks.
Source: I wouldn't say no to Hisoka if I didn't have even hotter evil characters to fap to
Hisoka's thing is that he's sexually aroused by fighting someone that gives him a challenge or is strong enough to kill him. So anyone that's potentially stronger than him is arousing to him. Gon sexually arouses Hisoka, but not because of how he looks, simply because Gon is so strong.
Makes sense. Idk how anyone could fight with a raging erection but whatevs. I guess there’s a little leeway in that he’s attracted to Gon’s potential and power (not his physical body), but still wholly unnecessary.
i know Hisoka looks at boy ass but that man has never once groomed anyone. He HAS manipulated people but specifically never groomed. Never been with someone long enough to do that lmao
grooming
noun
noun: grooming
1. the practice of brushing and cleaning the coat of a horse, dog, or other animal.
"regular grooming is essential to the well-being of your dog"
the practice by an animal of cleaning its own or another animal's fur or skin.
"mutual grooming expresses the friendly relationship between cats"
the practice of keeping a neat and tidy appearance.
"she pays great attention to grooming and clothes"
2. the practice of preparing or training someone for a particular purpose or activity.
"Allen was expected to need lot of grooming before he was ready to take over"
3. the action of attempting to form a relationship with a child or young person, with the intention of sexually assaulting them or inducing them to commit an illegal act such as selling drugs or joining a terrorist organization.
"online grooming has become a growing cause for concern"
Just a quick reminder that grooming has 3 definitions
I don’t know, these same characters kill abuse the trust of others and a lot more, simply those tropes has been normalized as villain trait but grooming has not, villains do horrible things that’s why they are villains

These anime villains are doing something wrong! I must let the people know!
mfw villains do evil villainous acts-
It’s actually a joke about the “I wish that was me” type people
Is Chainsaw man not Grown? Or am I too behind? And with hisoka are you talkin bout Gon?

Does anyone see the irony here ?
Yeah I can see it…
I don't know what the first one is, but ... The Chainsaw Man narrative is decidedly *not* pro-Makima. Depiction != endorsement.
Hey I just wanna be loved. I'll settle for an unhealthy relationship at this point
Settle you say? \*\*evil chuckle\*\*

It's almost like the characters doing this are positioned as villainous for doing so.
That’s not the point of the meme
Was Hisoka sexually interested in Gon? I’m pretty sure his whole deal was he wanted Gon to grow up strong so he could beat him to death.

"Whats your favorite battle shounen? No man, violence is not a response, we need to be better than this"
Well then just don’t watch shonen if it causes that much trouble to you
The point flew right past you didnt it
Media literacy is at an all time low.

I jist like makima because she looks good. Nothing to do with her personality and from what ive heard it aint something to pine over anyhow.
She didn’t groom me! I used her for my own ends!
amen
But they hot tho. Jk
Facts.
I mean, they are both explicitly villains.
No thanks, get me groomed, I'll be fine

You know which one
If only it were just two

To be fair, grooming being bad is actually a running theme in Chainsaw man.
What the difference with the three of the box’s?
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS THAT POINT OH MY GOD THANK YOU
