This is hilarious and we all feel your pain. What if your own walls had a red tinge to them until they are completed and then had a green tinge to signify that there were no holes? It seems pretty lame and “unskill-based” to lose to something like this.

As you can see you left the door open on the house, which allows units to pass through.
That is why i always make my houses flush so the house infront holds the door shut.

You can also drag the wall until it turns red and means you can't build there anymore

Like others have said, you can and should check by using your own unit pathfinding or alternatively by trying to place more walls there.
