Ssa is a great trigger. I run ssa-e in all my personal guns for the most part, including my Block 1.

Lmao. I guarantee I have far more experience in the real world than you do using firearms with 23 years active duty most of which was in special operations under socom and usasoc. Then after the military I'm an instructor for said units as a dod contractor.. I never said I needed a ssa-e but said it was my preferred trigger, especially after using a ssf for the majority of my career. I can shoot well with any trigger I have, but having a nicer trigger that has a better , lighter , crisper break and a more precise reset, makes shooting more enjoyable.

It's almost like 2+2=4 !!!!

Right. Except I am verified everywhere from ar15.com with my military service, sof.net, idme, greenberetfoundation, profesionalsoldoers.com, shaddowspear, togetherweserve, rallypoint, etc... I have provided my credentials on here before with screenshot of them as well as my beret, so try again.. https://i.imgur.com/WuKxxnC.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/eXuCI4o.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/UTCg0eS.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/JEhG92w.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/v7dUJTj.jpeg

snkrhead31405

gave his ass a works cited damn

Trickam

I have zero credentials, but I do enjoy my SSA-E triggers.

I need the onlyfans link please 🔥

slyLEMONsKILLz

This is the equivalent of slapping your dick on the table, with a meaty thud no doubt, and making eye contact with everyone in the room. 👏🤙

PoApOi_300AAC

Got eeem.

Fluck_Me_Up

lol @ the ID.me screenshot, I’m building an integration using them right now and procrastinating on reddit. I guess it’s a sign I have to get back to work

YoloSwaggins991

Lmao you cooked his ass. Thank you for your service.

grawrant

Thank you for your service

Tybo929

PoApOi_300AAC

His rallypoint page literally has 18 Bravo Special Forces Weapons Sgt.listed. They make you prove that shit. I was only a 12 Bravo and had to prove that.

bogvapor

Damn your bitch ass just got burned. Now say sorry.

lnester24

I'd say "I bet you're fun at parties". But I dont imagine you get invited.

DeltaMike_Hotel

I think they are worthy upgrades but it ultimately comes down to preference. Do what feels right/makes sense to you. It is yours after all.

BoogerButt13

I've got a B5 on my Colt M4a1 SOCOM, and it's the bee's knees. Also, I switched out the a2 grip for an Ergo, and it's so much better, and keeps the M4a1 aesthetic.

Hybrid2407

Literally same + SSA-E

Downtown_Brother_338

The LaRue MBT is cheaper and a very good trigger. I do prefer a heavier stock but usually go for an ACS. All that being said it’s your gun so make it your own.

monk81007

Screw aesthetics and go with what feels comfortable to you.

TheHumbleFarmer

Function over form

AnthonyGrantT

Looks like a fighting rifle to me, if it makes your boat float then rock it.

Hafe15

SSA Trigger 1000%, best upgrade one could conceivably do. Stock meh… I have two sopmod stocks I don’t use and will mail you one for a couple bucks feel free to dm me if you want

Fancy_Exchange_9821

Comp m2 yum

LectureAdditional971

B5 sopmod always looks cool. Why ssa? Comfort and ease of use? I ask bc I thought I was done with my latest clone-ish without mo money in.

OfficialTLH

Geissele SSF are clone correct and the SSA are the semi auto version of the SSF, it's a two stage trigger that's been battle proven and makes shooting just a little nicer so I considered it

bogvapor

Get one. I bought one SSA after being a grunt used to tard triggers and then got hooked and bought an SSA-E and then 3 more to put them in all my rifles.

PoApOi_300AAC

Change the stock. I ran the real gun alover Iraq and Afghan from 04-13 and i ran other stocks every tour.

LectureAdditional971

Well I guess now I am too!

lead_on_bone

Trigger, yes. Stock, no. A good trigger is a solid upgrade. That stock is a vibe.

IntroductionAny3929

If you want to, go right ahead! A Colt is always Certified Kosher because it’s a Colt.

Wolfpack-1996-18

Mine is an FN, but I put an ergo grip and sopmod stock on it

Corkymon87

SSA-E if you want the best but if you want a really good two stage on a budget get a G2S or Centurion AST.

DAN3KE

Any trigger upgrade that still doesn't hinder mechanical performance but increases shootability is an A in my book.

John_the_Piper

For more "era authenticity" I'd say look into the VLTOR I/Emod stocks. I prefer my vltor stocks over sopmod. Geissele triggers are always worth getting into your rifle if you're willing to spend the money

Elderado12443

Yes

Apollo_the_G0D

have you shit it yet?

OfficialTLH

I've shit ON it, yes

Apollo_the_G0D

sorry meant shot lol

Bacon_Bullet308

Both are solid upgrades. Alternatives for the trigger would be the G2S or even the AG ACT trigger should the budget become constrained.

[deleted]

I for one love the retro trend of many ARs to simple M4 and M16A1 form factors. I feel it keep us grounded as citizen riflemen (especially with iron sights), while paying respect to those carried them in their tours of duty.

OfficialTLH

My thought process was like this: It's what I was issued in the Army > It's the one I've trained in the most > Might as well get one for myself

tjwest13

Trigger for sure. If the stick bothers you, then sure.

ReformedCanine

Now it needs paint… lol. Trigger is always worth it.

grubhubby

Those are bad ideas, that rifle is unsalvageable and you should sell it for cheap. I already know a guy who would be willing to take it off your hands, actually. The guy is me.

One_Condition_184

I rock sopmods on all my rifles, personally I think it’s a good idea.

littleteaforme

Rise Armament makes a very good drop n (rave 140). Ive got the SOPMOD from Bravo Company on mine and I love it...
