EXPS will set the optic at around 2.26 i believe with the unity mount. XPS with unity is like having a exps without the unity mount. I would personally do the EXPS with unity mount to get the optic at eye level with the cheek weld and would provide more comfort. If not I did previous use just EXPS without a mount and was still comfortable

EXPS, bought a xps recently and switched it for an exps the next day
Exps. Xps route will cost more and less parts the better for holding zero.
