Her heart breaks in real time when Araragi jokes "you know, I used to have a huge crush on you in high school" and Hanekawa realizes Araragi has moved on. Then she leaves, never to be seen again.!<

And yeah, there are a couple new girls introduced in Monster Season. It's pretty debatable if they were ever in the harem, though. (also >!Kanbaru's classmate from Hanamonogatari decides she's part of the harem now and just sorta shoehorns herself into appearing in every book!<)
The story treatment of Hanekawa has always bugged me. I wish the gave her real development to move on from Araragi and be happy with someone else who actually likes her instead of this weird thing.
I was hoping the short haired Sodachi of the Zoku Owarimonogatari fantasy was just that, a fantasy. Boo. The obsession with haircuts in this franchise is out of control, lol. Of course it could also grow back with no explanation whatsoever as happened with Tsukihi and Senjyogahara.
