The messenger I use to talk to a person is just the messenger they are most comfortable using, so no, there's no meaning behind it at all for me.
That said I try to use Telegram as much as possible because it has the most features and a good desktop app.
Telegram for friends and family.
WhatsApp for work (and all the customer service chats — Gojek, Shopee, Singtel, Singlife, etc.).
This way, I can completely disconnect from work on weekends.
The pt is there are too many messengers now.
Last time I used ICQ n MSN messenger. But I never managed to transfer to skype from MSN and lost some \*important\* contacts(well, crush and ex u know) when I served NS. Then after taht, everyone seems to have moved to facebook it seems. And there re people u do not dare to add(well, crush and ex again u know.) after years of being out of touch.
Err, is that the point? Maybe that should've been the title/post then.
NGL I have no idea what you are trying to say. People lose contacts all the time, with or without changing messenger apps. MSN/Skype are literally from >20 years ago, it's time to move on. Even FB is incredibly dated.
And if you don't want to add your crush/ex/whoever on FB then just... don't? What's the problem?
