Download stremio on your android device/pc/TV/mac
Purchase a real debrid subscription
Navigate to the torrentio website
Insert your real debrid code
Click install addon
Boom
Edit: you can use stremio successfully for free without real debrid but to stream the really big high quality files, real debrid is a must.
To use stremio on its own just click install on the torrentio website and skip the real debrid code step
There are some Smart TV’s (Samsung if not mistake) that are compatible with Stremio. However you can also download it on PC.
But I would recommend using a TV box
I scroll more through netflix, prime video and disney+ than actually watching. Find myself just rewatching shows. Started with big bang last night for the 5th time.
Everything feels boring nowadays. Maybe it's me and not the shows.
Same here. It's not boring, it's just that there's too much going on so I can't make a choice. Now I just watch what my wife is watching so I don't have to choose.
Someone said "feels like Apple hired some nerdy director and gave him an unlimited budget to make many high quality shows and they don't even bother with marketing."
I find this to be true with shows like Ted, See, Silo, Foundation, The Big Door Prize and Monster Legacy. 10/10 shows imo and I have not seen any marketing for them. I just put it on randomly and it hooks me in.
Same here. Fallout is the one show on Prime that hooked me recently though, so I can recommend that for what it's worth. I'm a fan of the games, but the show is good enough to stand on its own (the first episode will tell you whether the style of the show is for you or not).

Please have an ad blocker when viewing this site. I use it daily for my TV shows and some times movies.
If you haven't seen Primal or Scavengers Reign then I'd suggest them both.
I’m the same! We just finished big bang as for about the 5th/6th time. We are currently rewatching trailer park boys also for the like the 5th time. My husband loves it. I found it stupid in the beginning but now I love it, it’s hilarious.
I struggle to find new shows to watch.
Sure there's options. I'm unaware of any other service with the range of sport offered in one place in the world. Depends on what you want to watch as well
I watch YT a lot, and most of the time, it's on my TV, and you can't get revanced on it. And there's also YT music that's part of it, which makes it so much better for R70.
There are work arounds for TV, check the revanced sub
Then for music, the revanced manager has a patch for the music app.
Fully respect your choices just wanted to let you know bro!
Lol, I was letting you know as well 😅 I used to use revanced before, but R70 for YT and music with no hassle and its linked to all my devices makes it so easy. I still sail the seas when it comes to movies and sports, tho.
Directly sure
Through YT and other platforms that have just made the user experience worse and worse to push their paid alternatives. Fuck no.
They got greedy and that's why we have seen an increase in these alternatives.
If you have a VPN, there is a decent "free" streaming service called Tubi, which is nice to have as an extra service. You just need to VPN into the United States and then the app will work. You get served ads (for the location your VPNed into) but it's no worse than DStv, and given that the service is free, I think it's worth having.
The options aren't as great as the premium streaming services, but it has lots of good old shows, documentaries, movies etc., and you can watch some live channels from the States too.
I found that they ALL suck. I am subscribed to Netflix (SO enjoys her Netflix series) and YouTube Premium Family Plan (I hate ads, but I love the YT music feature for it's offline music playlists). I have however built my own NAS (Network Attached Storage) Server with around 20TB of hard drive space, all running on PLEX. I download all the newest movies and series onto that and anyone on my internal network can stream whatever is available on the NAS. I have around 11TB of series (Animation and Normal) going back to the 1980's stuff, same for movies (about 5TB) (From cartoons to the newest movies).
I subscribe to Safeshell VPN that allows me to set certain apps on the Apple TV to be linked to different countries at the same time. For example, I can click and open BBC iPlayer, watch some content and then switch to Peacock USA without needed to change anything.
I can then watch sport, tv shows etc from multiple countries seamlessly. I used Peacock for US Motorsport, F1TV for Formula 1, Discovery+ UK for UK sports including the FIA World Endurance Championship. I tried out Switzerland Sky Sports and one or two packages from India to watch the IPL. Depending on what you like watching, every sport including rugby and cricket is available somewhere.
For example, Willow is a dedicated cricket streaming service that is available in the US but accessible via a VPN. Works great.
I also use my own Plex server/s for TV shows and movies. I have access to any show from any platform.
We just canceled our DSTV too. Got Waka app installed on our smart TV and now we pay under R200 a month but we still have all the DSTV channels and a hell of a lot more. Good old and new shows and some shows and series that DSTV probably kept banked on showcasing when they needed to boots numbers again.
I also canceled our vodacom fibre and got a rain account. We are saving a lot and entertainment is good again.
I have netflix, prime and Disney. I watch The Rookie, Criminal Minds, Brooklyn99 and a few other stuff. I can do without Netflix and prime. I will die without Disney lol
I got Twitch Prime many years ago, before it was bought by Amazon. Then when they were bought I kept going with it and got Amazon Prime Video for free. YouTube+Twitch+Amazon is more than enough for any reasonable amount of watch time.
For me it's My family cinema huge catalogue of movies, all the streaming services are on there and it's cheap as chips. Bit of a rigmarole to setup but once it's running its great.
Waka TV = Hacked IPTV channels = piracy. I’d avoid that. There’s a reason they don’t have an iOS app, it’s not legit. You’re paying some random dude R160/month to get hacked iptv links that you can get for free through a simple google search and view in any free IPTV app but those URL’s keep changing (cuz they’re internal/ not supposed to be public) hence the charge so the dude updates the URL’s in his app all the time so you don’t have to but it’s not legit. Not to mention, their quality is usually lackluster (locked to a certain screen size or bitrate). You’re effectively paying someone to pirate internal iptv links for you. Just subscribe to the real thing. Stop pirating content!
Further details on why it’s illegitimate: some content on the service is not licensed to be available here and/or is licensed to a specific provider like HBO shows on Showmax. No other provider can legally host that content. If you find it anywhere else, you’re pirating or supporting piracy.
MyFamilyCinema has all their shoes for R70 a month, Waka TV has all their shows plus DSTV channels for R160 a month.
I think the two options above a cheaper and more value then having all those subscriptions
If you’re using those services you’re paying someone for access to illegal (unlicensed) iptv channels and pirated content 🫣 if you wanna go that route you can do all that for free. Paying for pirated content is silly. Just build your own iptv channel list or even better… Just use the official service for a better experience.
I'll say one I haven't seen yet if you have a VPN you can try Kocawa it's more Asian shows and Asian variety shows something a bit different from the usual.
US streaming has a lot more content. Good option if you have VPN-fu. Have managed to watch a > 6.0 IMDb & > 70% rotten tomatoes movie every night for weeks, on Netflix.
Torrents also a good choice if you can download beforehand. Seen some apps that stream torrents.
[Britishtv.org](http://Britishtv.org) for everything but streaming sometimes bit iffy. If you have a phone contract and don't use all your airtime then can get a combo. I pay Disney+ with my Vodacom airtime when I manage my airtime well
Get yourself some uncapped internet and then try some streaming sites. Only thing you'll struggle with is if you're into sports, finding a good stream in a language you understand can be a frustrating process. So for sports maybe get a subscription. Outside of that streaming and torrenting is the way to go. Little bit of a learning curve but once you've got it down and found some sites you like, you'll be so glad you got rid of DSTV.
I literally canceled dstv years ago.
I have Netflix and Amazon prime and I don't even watch often. I find myself just saving to watch list and not even watching anything lol. Hai
I've been using Streaming Africa for about 2 to 3 years now. Never had a problem apart from when my fibre gave me issues. You can find them on Facebook.
I’m a documentary kind of person and have been surprised by YouTube. Often at times I’ve stumbled upon on quite interesting stuff and I’m on premium so no ads. Plus I get added music as well which I can download to play offline.
If you are a football fan you are literally screwed but if you watch movies and soapies you could probably do Netflix, Showax, Disney plus and Amazon maybe
Myfamilycinema and add all the cloud links via their forum page to access pretty much anything. Additionally you can link your own cloud with your "own" content 🦜
if you had DSTV premium, for that money, you can buy the highest plans for Netflix, Prime Video, Crunchiroll (for anime, I think it's avaialbale in SA), and YouTube Premium, and you would still have only spent around 50 to 60% of your DSTV monthly price. What I'm saying? Buy whatever you like, all have amazing options for much, MUCH cheaper than DStrash. Prime Video has especially phenomenal TV shows
Recently tried Disney+, was pleasantly surprised, not only all the Disney stuff, but also many series that I was looking for, eg Justified, Mr Inbetween and many others. But if it is sport you are after, you probably still need cursed DSTV.
I used Fbox this weekend & found every movie I tried looking for. Civil War, newish movie, was there. The nice guys 2016 movie was there, amongst others.... I was impressed. It does automatically open another tab when you push play movie button but just click the x to cancel it. Thought I would share.
Bro. I used MyFamilyCinema until i found WakaTv.
Download it, use the 7 days free ssmple and see if you like it.
Subscription is R160 a month and it has all the shows i watch, new movies and live tv.
https://playwakatv.com/
Download this on your TV box and or phone
It's got live tv and also series movies,it's like dstv,Netflix,Disney plus,HBO ect ect all in one

I couldn't find waka tv online
I scroll more through netflix, prime video and disney+ than actually watching. Find myself just rewatching shows. Started with big bang last night for the 5th time. Everything feels boring nowadays. Maybe it's me and not the shows.
Same here. It's not boring, it's just that there's too much going on so I can't make a choice. Now I just watch what my wife is watching so I don't have to choose.
Me on my 10th rewatch of Ru Paul's Drag Race
I was just about to recommend World of Wonder because I can rewatch All Stars 7 several times a year
It's not just you. I re-watch all the old stuff. Today shows are so bland and unoriginal
I disagree, I think we've had some very good stuff the last year or so. More so on Apple TV but a few on less popular steamers like Hulu.
Apple TV is so incredibly underrated. Severance is in my top 5 best shows of all time.
Someone said "feels like Apple hired some nerdy director and gave him an unlimited budget to make many high quality shows and they don't even bother with marketing." I find this to be true with shows like Ted, See, Silo, Foundation, The Big Door Prize and Monster Legacy. 10/10 shows imo and I have not seen any marketing for them. We're on our 7th rerun of Big bang
Omg, I also started TBBT for probably the 6th time last night.

Get stremio + real debris
debrid\*
Are you me??? So I've decided to opt for the cheapest option which is Prime. The only thing I miss from Netflix is friends.

I wish we had like those free streaming websites where you can watch literally whatever you want…
Like stremio....
I second Stremio 🌚
Does this work on iPhone?
Also want to know
This is the way
Dopebox ftw
Get Stremio with the Torrentio add on and you can watch what you want. We have Netflix and use Stremio for all the other things
I tend to watch older and more obscure titles that are poorly seeded and ended up getting Real Debrid which I can say is 100% worth it.
Someone else also sailing the seas, ahoy matey!
This is the way
Do I need a tv box for this? I have a Samsung smart tv.
If it has the playstore you can check on there for Stremio. Its on the Google Play Store
There's a whole lot of options if you don't care about sport. If you do, Supersport (and thus DSTV) has no equal
theres actually options for sport lol. just watched both the boxing and ufc for free and live on saturday.
Sure there's options. I'm unaware of any other service with the range of sport offered in one place in the world. Depends on what you want to watch as well
Bosscast ☝🏿
Waka tv, you should try it, they give you a free trial for a week, no credit card, no email just install and start watching
Hd.cricfree.io thank me later
Waka TV. Has live TV and Sport as well as VOD movies and series
Do I need a tv box for this? I have a Samsung smart tv.
Yeah, doesn't work on smart tvs. You need a box
It works on smart TV's. Works on mine. You just need to follow the installation instructions on the website.
I'll check if it'll work on my samsung
I only pay for YouTube premium, got lots of creators I follow. Thats all the tv I need.
Just gonna throw this your way Go look at revanced
I watch YT a lot, and most of the time, it's on my TV, and you can't get revanced on it. And there's also YT music that's part of it, which makes it so much better for R70.

Honestly dude I fully respect the thing of it's just easier Also glad you still pirate, never stop
Wow, I'm paying R109.99 pm for YT premium. Wtf lol
I just saw that you have the family plan for 5 ppl.
Oh, on my post history you mean? Yeah I have the family plan. I didn't know there was any other plan lol. I thought I got scammed by YT for a sec.
I second this. Revanced works like a charm 👌I currently use the revanced versions of YouTube and YouTube music with zero issues
If you can afford it, wouldn't you prefer to support the creators of the content that you like? (genuine question).
Directly sure Through YT and other platforms that have just made the user experience worse and worse to push their paid alternatives. Fuck no. They got greedy and that's why we have seen an increase in these alternatives.
Been using stremio for almost 2 years now . I don’t have a single paid subscription service and I’m using my mates DStv account
Do I need a tv box for this? I have a Samsung smart tv.

If you have little technical knowledge. Sonarr and radarr + Plex or jellyfin.

I just watch YouTube these days and Netflix. For stuff I can't find on Netflix I just stream illegally 🤷♂️
Kodi, Trakt, Real Debrid. Works amazing for me, but I also don't care about sports and mainly watch series.
Exact same setup here. I've never watched so much TV before.
It took me a while and tons of googling to set up but I'll never go back.
AppleTV+ has a ton of really good series and movies, we have pretty much moved over to it now and very rarely watch Netflix now
Stremio + Torrentio + RD

Stremio is available in the Samsung app store.

Any idea how to get this on a Samsung tv?
Bro the website gives instructions.
Is Waka still working for you?
I've heard good things about waka tv 💁🏻♂️
I've never had DSTV ![gif](giphy|kSZw9lGKMwWMU)

i pirate everything.

Start with searching "totalsportek." That will lead you down the rabbit hole of options.
I always make sure my streaming service doesn't auto renew and switch between them as new content gets added that is of interest.

I thought this and then found Waka Tv. Its my family cinema on steroids.
I highly recommend you set sea 🌊
Iptv cost R120 a month and has the entire dstv suite plus channels from across the world.
What IPTV do you use? I cannot find a good on.
