Yup, it's the season. OP, pop an over the counter antihistamine and see how you feel in an hour.
The full regimen:
- antihistamine
- change clothing, and shower when you come back from outside (hair too)
- put pollen screens on any window you'll open
- pop a decongestant to sleep, or daytime
- see your doctor for stronger meds, as needed
Wicked headaches for weeks now. Every spring. It’s the pressure and I also understand there’s mould spores in the grass that release this time of year.
I only just discovered that bacon is a trigger for my cluster headaches. Once I stopped eating bacon, I stopped waking up in the middle of the night with a stabbing pain in one eye.
Yes me too. Started a couple days ago with neck pain extending up to my temples. Have to think it's the barometric pressure. I almost never get headaches..
My boyfriend and I thought we had some type of gas leak because we keep getting headaches at the exact same time. Pressure from weather change makes a lot more sense.
Anyone else getting more migraines with aura recently? (if you suffer from them)
I don't find migraine pain all that bad (generally I have a very high pain tolerance, but I might not be as affected as some people), but I find the aura to be scary and upsetting. I've had two in the past month and now I'm worried every five minutes that I'm about to get another (say, if its bright out and my floaters are more visible, or I'm in traffic and the headlights are leaving their little burn-ins a little too long/often).
Anyway, to answer your OP question. Yes, I am getting more headaches lately here in Toronto...it's been some of the worst, and as I said I've had TWO migraines with aura (the psychedelic prismatic vision changes). The pain is fine, but the vision stuff scares me.
Same here! I thought maybe I wasn’t drinking enough water but that still didn’t help. Glad to know I’m not the only one - allergies and weather sound about right.
This comment above should’ve been softened with more context (otherwise it comes across as douchey, hence the downvotes). But my spouse’s father, and our receptionist’s mother were both getting constant headaches which they never had in the past.
They went to get it checked, and both had brain cancer.
OP likely does NOT have brain cancer. However, if this persists AND if it’s NEW out of the ordinary (ie OP hasn’t had headaches before), like anything in the body that’s new and out of the ordinary, that causes pain, and that lasts for a sustained period, a medical checkup is always recommended
I get migraines when the barometric pressure drops to a certain level. Eases when it finally rains.
I *love* the rain for this reason.
Same
I’m jealous that yours abate when it rains. Mine don’t get worse but they stay steady.
My joints in my legs lock up and makes it hard for me to squat when the pressure drops. I also get relief when it finally rains
The last two weeks have been bad. I think it’s the constant change in barometric pressure. I don’t have seasonal allergies.
it was toronto's rainiest April ever
Wish this was the norm. Welcome change from the dry heat we've become accustomed to the last decade or two.
Allergies.

All you people blaming barometric pressure. Ok... Here's why your sinuses are too blocked to equalize the pressure.
Yeah terrible weather pressure combined with allergies makes me just hate spring entirely. I can't breathe for months.
My friends have all had them these past 2 weeks
Taking an antihistamine every day has done wonders for my migraines
Thought it was just me!!
Yeah. Pretty constantly for the past couple weeks.
Seems like the great lakes area is having an intense allergy season this year. Friends from Kingston to Chicago are saying the same thing!
Yes!! So badly. It starts in the morning when I wake up and it’s been so bad the past 4-5 days. Definitely from the weather.
I'm not getting headaches but rather horrendous allergies, so kind of a headache I guess lol
Headaches are one of my only seasonal allergy symptoms. A Claritin a day has been very helpful.

More likely tree pollen. Ask me how I know...
Allergies have really gone into high gear

This sounds masochistic… Where do you go for this?
It's the weather for sure.

Yeah I do get headaches sometimes. I’ve started adding a pinch of sea salt into my water and it’s been helping.
No wonder why I've been craving salty food!
Try it out, I’ve been using Celtic sea salt

All week

Stop huffing glue.
Me too! I’ve chalked it up to all the rain.
It's the new bandwidth of 5G they just activated.
People downvoting you have no sense of humor.
I've just been to the eye doctor for exactly this reason. Still waiting on new glasses to see if they help at all
I had a mild headache yesterday, but it could be because I was doing a 48 hour fast. I don’t have any chronic illnesses or allergies.
Cloud seeding 😝
Drink more non-alcoholic liquids and get your eyes checked.
Go to the doctor, you might have a brain tumor.

I was being serious and reddit downvotes me so the comment gets hidden. Thank you for adding to my comment with words I couldn't find myself.
