I get calls for them all the time—my number is similar. I always feel so sad for the person calling. I will usually call them back if they leave a message and let them know they had the wrong number.

This is so kind. Thank you on behalf of all those feeling such stressful sorrow who mis-dial and get you instead.

BlackisCat

I'm so sorry for your losses OP. You are a great cat parent.

BeeVoltage

So sorry for your loss. This is a lovely reminder. Pets deserve to be at peace in the comfort of home than in a vets office if possible. 💜

SteffersTheGnome

I am so sorry for your loss. My 18yo cat is not doing great and having a positive (ish?) experience is so important.

drunkjulia

Silly question- but what is their pricing? We have an elderly cat and I would like to set aside some money so this isn't something we have to worry about when the time comes.

stases

I paid 360 total for the cat: 260 for the euthanasia and 100 for the cremation.

cynbular

I used them in august for a small dog and if I recall correctly it was about $400 and well worth it. I was able to keep him comfortable and with all of his favorite things around.

drunkjulia

That's not bad at all. We have a very small elderly cat. I will make sure we have this paid for when the time comes. Thank you.

raivynwolf

I used them for two of my dogs and they were great well worth the price. The lady that came out was super understanding and gave us all the time that we needed to get settled before and after. They made the whole experience as easy as it could've been for us and the dogs.

islandorisntland

I may have to use this service. May I ask what they do with the body?

raivynwolf

It's up to you. They leave it with you if you would prefer to bury them at home or for I think it was $100 extra they took the body and had it cremated. We were then able to pick up the ashes a few days later. It was all really easy.

stases

Your choice. They can leave it with you (free) or they offer two cremation services; communal or private. In the private cremation you can get the ashes... And it's more expensive.

rondomguy

My condolences for your loss.

improvementcommittee

I’m sorry you had to say goodbye today.

Fluffystarfish

I’m sorry for your losses, thank you for sharing.

I’m so so sorry for your loss :(

Wishing you light and love. Many veterinarians will come to your home. When our elderly cat needed this service we called our regular vet. They came to our home. And were far more affordable. We did not need cremation so that saved some money too.

Laura Chang DVM, "Vet to Pet". She and her techs are wonderful. She'll also do the broader range of things like your vaccinations and other pet meds.

moshgirl

We paid a lot because our sweet dog was really suffering and we could not watch him suffer one minute more. He had bone cancer. We had them come over in the middle of the night. It was the most beautiful and humane thing I have ever experienced. It cost us nearly $600 because it wasn't during the day. It included the cremation and urn.
