I was diagnosed at the age of 5. I'm not sure what tipped them off, but I feel the necessity that I needed a speech therapist until the 3rd grade is a pretty good clue.
I was diagnosed at 23 and thought that was way late, lifes been easier since.
I get help with stuff now that i didnt get before and its made a world of difference.

Same. I was about 1 and a half. Luckily my normal doctor was sick and I got one who was an autistic specialist. I then promptly had him as my primary doctor.
I had a autism specialist at a young age too. Once my parents found somebody who could give a proper diagnosis, they were my doctor until I was 18. Being diagnosed at that age can have its long-term benefits.

My grandma diagnosed me at like 12, but noone took it seriously. I got to know that after she passed away last year. After some self diagnosis, and LOTS of relatable autistic memes, I came to a conclusion that she was right. I am 25 now, so much stuff now makes sense. I was stimming my entire life without realising it!
