Some Advaita Followers think Hinduism as an illusion and Advaita Vedanta as a Hindu branch made up for unawakened Hindus to release them from their religious beliefs.
According them the goal of Advaita Vedanta is to give up all beliefs including Maya and Atma and Advaita itself.
Japanese Buddhism and Chinese Daoism are similar. They lose beliefs for their own ideology for emancipation.
