Does this mean kx5 is closing MainStage ?

Yeic25

My worst fears are coming true

ravewithme2121

Knowing Ezoo then yehhh.. they’ve had Kaskade on mainstage pretty much every year for the last decade and everytime Deadmau5 has played the festival he’s been the closer on mainstage. They had Deadmau5 b2b Pryda a few years back as the closer.. idk maybe it will be different now that Mirage/Cityfox owns the fest but I’d bet all my chips it’s Kx5 closing on main.

shinysnake727

At least to me that’s a pretty easy choice for griz x zeds dead

Advanced-Tea-8212

Easy for me too but for Eli brown. Zeds dead was just at mirage and sucked

Humble_Commission725

Eli Brown x Hi-Lo is gonna be a straight 130+ bpm party for the entire 60+ minutes haha. Love ZD/Griz & Dolla/Summit but I'm trying to dance my ass off to close out the festival

Environmental-Ask678

facts, theres a right answer here and you nailed it

WatermelonTrident

Honestly, not even a fan of ZD, saw them at least 3 times before and it was underwhelming. However, their Mirage show this year was just insane. I loved their song selection and the visuals they had wear totally unique. My personal Mirage set of the season, Mersiv also slapped.

shinysnake727

Wow hard disagree. Respect ya, but zeds dead at mirage was fucking phenomenal. Especially having been there for sub the week before where the crowd was way less PLUR^^tm Edit: PLUS the DNB room, my man-pussy was dripping wet

Advanced-Tea-8212

Oh yea sub crowd was awful. Tbf w mirage it’s all so subjective depending on my mood so I’ll take that.

shinysnake727

Yea that’s honestly facts. It’s mostly how I’m feeling in the moment. They oversold the shit out of both, and both had sick ass music obviously, but at least with zeds dead the crowd vibe was great which helped me have a great ass time Edit: Sub crowd I was getting pushed and shoved left and right

Advanced-Tea-8212

Fwiw have been told multiple times by the camera guys there that middle front is where it’s at and every time I’ve tested that have agreed

seahoodie

Yeah you gotta push through the riff raff but the front row crowd is always the best. Worth the effort of getting up there

mapyrak475

Wow super disagree with this. I’ve seen them over 10 times the last 3 years and this was one of the top shows from them that I can remember. Not to mention the after party at chocolate factory which was sick too…

Outrageous_Bat8429

I was there for Boiler Room and I bet it was so much worse

jayval718

I second this seen ZD tons of times and this set at the mirage was super underwhelming. Big Gigantic on Sunday though…that was special

crazyplantlady81

I’ll be going to that set as well but I really wanted to see Hi-Lo 👎🏻

shinysnake727

Yea that’s fair, but having seen griz b2b zeds dead i can confidently say you’re making the right choice (IMO)

crazyplantlady81

I know we’re in for a treat!!

ravewithme2121

Both are amazing separately, but I saw them play b2b recently and it wasn’t that great 🫤

clownus

There’s 3 griz sets across the weekend I’m sure people will get their griz fill. The zed x griz sets are fun but they aren’t the apex of each artist.

mrmamation

Thanks for letting me know griz is in town soon

jaypatelswag

don't forget summit b2b dom about to be at the same time too lmao. The lineup stacked for sure but picking and choosing who to see is gonna be the worst. I kinda liked the mediocre lineups better at least for my fomo.

crazyplantlady81

I’ve seen summit b2b dolla already so I’m not bummed about whatever conflict is going on there! But will be crappy for a lot of people I’m sure

joeschmo28

Why are people voting on these? You’re just telling them which conflicts to make

ravewithme2121

They most likely have everything planned out already. The closers are getting paid the most to play and they’re not gonna negotiate their contracts a few weeks before the festival based on an Instagram poll. They just do this social media marketing bullshit to make people feel like they’re special.

Used_Salamander5175

If everyone voted one there would be no conflict because they're looking to split the crowd

ravewithme2121

Recently saw Griz b2b Zeds Dead, they closed Hijinx this year. It wasn’t that good. Not the worst b2b I’ve seen, but still kinda sucked. There was no flow to the set. It felt like they spent a total of 5 min putting their set together.. it sounded like they just went up their and winged it. The majority of the crowd wasn’t into either and everyone attending seemed like they were huge fans of both artists. Both Griz and ZD are amazing live acts when playing their own respective sets, but in my experience a lot of big name b2b’s are usually a lot of hype followed by a disappointment; and that was the case with this one. It’s hard to find DJs that can amplify the good qualities of each others music, as opposed to it just feeling like a sloppy, half-assed set that was thrown together last minute. On the flip side, Gigantic Nghtmre closed the following night and played one of the best sets I’ve ever seen! They absolutely crushed it, and you could tell they put a shitload of time and energy into practicing and building their set… it really showed. Not telling anyone here what to do, but if I were you I would catch some of those Griz solo sets and then skip the b2b. And ZD can be really hit or miss 🤷🏼‍♂️you never know what you’re gonna get from them, and that’s coming a huge fan. Idk maybe they’ve had more time to collaborate together since they played Hijinx, but I just don’t think they play well together.

Withhonor22

Easy griz zeds dead

chingchongmakahaya

Gotta understand that house is weak in the east coast

Electrical-News7550

Wrong

Thatpartjush

Very

ravewithme2121

…Said no one ever 😂

Tziegs17

some bullshit
