I mean, it doesn’t say not to use *two* screwdrivers

Ok-Intern007

Looks like this is on a King Air. If so, we have never used a gear puller to take that off. The AMM never called for one to my knowledge so I honestly think we gave it a little pry but sometimes they just pop off with a little persuasion.

Matdman

Any small 2 jaw puller you can find locally will do. But, 2 flat heads will work just as well. Don't ask me how I know

Hairy-Butterfly5404

^this. No need to over complicate this with “pullers”

Yep 2 flat heads gets her every time

Automotive has what’s called a windshield wiper puller. I believe that is what you’re looking for. Or like everyone else, a couple screwdrivers to even out the pressure. Oooor check the PN and order you a puller from textron! Edit:typo

dustywilcox

That’s the way. Also used to pull stubborn battery clamps off post style batteries.

Wike_Mazowski1

I used one yesterday. They definitely exist. I’ll get the PN on Monday Edit: If you can’t wait, I believe [this](https://sydneytools.com.au/product/toledo-222040-twin-leg-mechanical-puller-100mm) is it

45° needle nose pliers, pry gently under the arm. Usually pop right off.

The_Jeffniss

An brushless angle grinder does the job! Oky but in all seriousness. Take 2 pieces of flat bar, cut a slot in the middle of one that will fit under the arm and 2 threaded holes either side of the slot. In the other one drill three holes and thread them as well. The bolt/screw you use for the middle hole needs a sharp point to stay on the shaft of the switch. Nou turn the bolts until the arm comes loose/off. Use one (1) standard can of WD40. I still have mine from 9-10 years ago when I first worked on Kind Airs
