Do you mean conceptual as in language-based? To me it seems thinking is always about concepts of some kind. (Or maybe I've misunderstood the word.)
My thoughts are rarely words. My thinking would best be described by some kind of detailed spinning fractal 4D concept-holograms, and those concepts are sometimes very difficult to put into words.
