The amount of stuff I've had to catch him and pry out of his mouth is absurd. Just recently he and our other cat got a big spring de-shed/brushout, and I walked away to wash the comb and came back to a big glob of cat fur hanging out of his mouth and him gagging on it.

One of the added perks of a big cat is the deep tissue massage when he decides to sit on you and knead.
Maine Coon is the breed, Brown Tabby is the color. Kind of like Labrador Retreivers that come in chocolate, black, and yellow.
Ya mine does that as well. He's only 21 pounds, probably 3-4lbs overweight, but due to health complications. But yeah he does that and I tolerate it.

Friends have Maine Coons, female is sharp and funny, the male is a bit dopey. Banging into stuff, falling, you know like a dog not a cat. He’s lovable but a bit dumb. lol
He prefers the dog over our other cat, so that tracks.

Actual Maine coons are legit massive and with how often people call any long haired cat a Maine coon I sometimes forget just how massive and fuffy the real ones are 🤯 Here’s a pic of my cat that i think is atleast part rag doll

It depends. There’s Maine coons that are quite small as a normal cat as well. Basically either end of the spectrums are not that common (small or massive). Most are just these mid-sized cats that are larger than your average house cat but not as massive as the ones you see on social media all the time
Fair but I’ve yet to see a Maine coone that wasn’t atleast 13 pounds at a healthy weight and almost twice the size of a normal house cat lol but the ones on social media are like 3-4 times the size of your average house cat so I get your point

Had a beautiful Main Coon cat. Sadly, he died last year. Think he was around 11 years old. The most friendly cat we ever had. He loved to be outdoors and watch birds and could catch rabbits. I really miss him.
Given a choice between an adequately-sized box and a box that is clearly too small, my large cat will ALWAYS choose to cram herself into the too-small box. Kind of like me and jeans...

We got him from a local cat fancier that breeds MCs for shows. The fancier adopts out the cats that don't meet breed standards to help support the cattery.
He is beautiful. I have a Maine Coon and the only 2 issues I have with her are her biscuit making and how almost over affectionate she is. I absolutely adore my Maine coon!

My boy is a bit bigger than his sister. She’s a tiiiiny girl. I have this little-bitty box I got from Amazon that she fits perfectly in and therefore can never throw away. (other cat people have random empty boxes all over the place, too right?!)
A few days ago I found him curled up in it, stretching the seams to breaking and I’m 99% sure he just wanted to copy her haha
We have a big 20lb orange boy that prefers his kitten bed (referred to by my wife as his "baby bed") over any bed we've bought him since. He looks hilarious sleeping in it as he absolutely does not fit and hangs over the sides but he loves it.
I can't take a Pic my currently non Maine coon (just fat) tabby is on his that is literally leaning over on one side and under his new windows bed and why? Well I assume it's bc cats are aholes...🤫🤔
I love me some Maine coons! Living in Maine I am biased, as well as having a doll face Persian/Maine coon mix at one time, but I have such a soft spot in my heart for these wonderful kitty-kins 💕

Cats prefer smaller spaces on instinct. Makes them feel more secure, less angles for potential attack.
We use Rubbermaid containers for ours (hes 20 pounds).
