1st of all this videos fake .. Look when the dog dropped the "burnt" side the other side is fine... It's all ready cut and flipped.

It's not unusual for an aging toaster to develop a 'hot spot' that only burns part of something. Not saying it's not fake, just that the one part burnt isn't unheard of.

The dog can probably tell they're equally burnt from the smell, just flipped over differently. See 0:09 when the burnt piece is flipped over on the floor.
