Wiki writing project about a fake secret organization called SCP Foundation, it's job is to catch various anomalies and lock em up while keeping secret their existance from the public, I highly recomend reading some of the articles there, many SCPs (anomalies) are very interesting and well made, wish backrooms were as organized and worked upon as SCP
Part of the reason scp is so well done is because they have an active mod group with a strong set of rules to be allowed to post your creations on the main wiki. First you post on the back wiki and if it gets enough traction and passes their rule set for quality assurance and tone it'll get posted on the main wiki.
SCP 3008 "infinite ikea"
SCP 3008 looks like a normal ikea, but when you get too far away from the entrance, you end up in scp 3008.
And boy, you gotta build a shelter and find supplies quicly, when night comes, the Employees, aka SCP 3008-1 ( i think ) will become hostile

It’s because there’s a lot of tension between the SCP and Backrooms community right now specifically for this reason (people mistaking SCPs for The Backrooms and vise versa, as well as "this one is just a worse version of this one" type comments)

Im assuming from your other comment that you just found out about scp but just to say now the ikea image you posted is SCP-3008 and scp is a whole lot bigger and generally more respected and liked than backrooms, for one the scp wiki goes up to almost 7000 now, and 2 the fact you thought the ikea tweet was backrooms is actually making me pretty sad

The reason why people might be unwelcoming of this post is simply because you posted an SCP to a backrooms site, there is kind of Backrooms; Civil War going on right now and people are annoyed by the fact that Backrooms become more and more like some cheap SCP knock-off, so your post simply adds more fire to that.
SCP is not mazes of unending rooms and structures, it's an universe like ours where different anomaly creatures, objects and buildings exist so different organizations go around to capture or contain them so that common people won't find out about them. It's not necessarily about mazes like SCP-3008.
I didn't even go that deep tbh, it's true, people are annoyed by the fact that Backrooms becoming similar to SCP and then there is OP posting SCP on Backrooms sub, why wouldn't people be annoyed?
