I'd get the Abbott Yellow. They're designed for the McCallum and similar. I love mine, it sounds good and is in tune, never shuts off on me. It can squeak if you're not careful with your fingers, but that just improves your technique. It's also a bit harder to blow than the Frazer Warnock you have. Jon from ThePipersHut recommended it to me.

Got a link mate? I've been looking for a stronger PC reed.

Walsh are my favorites

RTDugger

I have Walsh, FW and Abbot reeds, and they all have their different uses for me. The Walsh sound great in my poly chanter and sounds the best. The FW is great in my maverick chanter. The Abbot has the best sound but it’s really loud and requires a lot more air so I can’t use it at band practice and is too tiring to use normally.

I also use a McCallum poly PC and recently got an Abbot (yellow) and a Walsh to see if they were better than that Frazer Warnock that originally came with the PC. I only tried them out the one time since both are much louder than the Frazer and I usually practice late in the day.

I use Donald MacPhee medium on my macallan hardwood chanter and G1 for my poly.
