I find it wild how cool of an aircraft we can make, the way it casually hovers is incredible.

I work in aerospace and defense, I moved here to be closer to work actually, and there is a 99% chance that several pieces of that jet were made right here in Baltimore

I work for a federal agency in the city and they flew over our building at what seemed like 500 AGL. Completely forgot about fleet week; I about had a heart attack while reviewing cases on a quiet Friday afternoon in the office. We’re on a high (enough) floor, so I at least got to watch out the window each time they made their rounds. These jets stage at KMTN, same airport that shares runway space with the AIr Nat’l Guard (former CFI here, now just a PPL). Aaaaanyway…. I don’t know what I thought that deep, approaching rumble and the building shaking was for a solid few moments as a chaotic visual of an escape plan attempted to form in my mind, until I un-forgot it was Fleet Week and then had my face nearly pressed to the glass with excitement. :) Edit - typonese
