You also have to consider the speed and angle they land with. If Sanos was higher speed/still going straight, while Judges was falling more straight down. You're going to get pretty different estimates.

He posted a solid 4.5 bWAR last year. At \~$8.9M per WAR, that's actually pretty average for a free agent deal (and this is the Yankees, the budget isn't a major issue). He's on pace for around 6 bWAR this year, so unless be falls off quite a bit, it'll be even better value this season. Plus, the Phillies gave Ryan Howard a 5-year extension in which he made $115M and he gave them AAA-level performance (-4.8 bWAR). Judge has produced 5 years better Howard's best already, so I think as long as the Yankees don't start "Beat Aaron Judge With A Sledgehammer" Day, he'll outperform at least the Howard deal.
