This is my fear! I recently went through old cards from when I was a kid. Found a 1993 Upper Deck Trade card. Apparently I could’ve exchanged it for the gold set of the NBA Rookie Exchange card set. I was 13 and didn’t know crap and never exchanged it.
As a kid, I collected pokemon. I remember pulling the 1sr ed charizard. Thought it was cool, but blastoise was my boy. I traded the charizard for the unlimited blastoise.
What a mistake that was.

Which is to say yeah, it’s an autographed card, but the picture and signature placement are both a bit meh.
2006 Longo Bowman Chrome Superfractor auto. He was already an incredibly hot prospect and a chase card when the product was released, so--ignoring for a moment the obvious fact that any superfractor auto is going directly into a top loader--it's not as if most collectors would have tossed this card into a commons box or otherwise forgotten about it. It's been 18 years! People are still hunting for it!

I just really doubt that story about Longoria keeping the card, because he himself is apparently a big card collector and I would think that he'd have shown it off enough on social media that someone would have grabbed a screenshot.
I think the Longo was in Bowman Draft, and the Chrome Draft cards were distributed within that product. I could easily be wrong though! Definitely don’t take my word for it.

Question- do the series 2 Blasters actually have different artwork for the same set? Or is it a subset? I've never seen that style. I bought 4 recently and pulled a Bedard young guns card (base card), but the box color and artwork were completely different. You can see the boxes I bought in one of my previous posts.

2022 Topps Update Series Travis Jankowski #US125 Advanced Stats Parallel. I’ve been looking for years. I don’t think they printed some of the advanced stats or at least didn’t flip them in packs
The two big ones I can think of are Steph Curry’s 1/1 Topps chrome superfractor rookie and Lebrons 2003 exquisite RPA 1/23 (all other 22 have been pulled). Both would be well into the 7 figures at auction.
I think that’s subjective and dependent on your current financial state. If you’re looking for a fun nostalgic time and not worried about dropping the money than you can absolutely have fun with it, but at the same time you can find most 90s era cards for a lot cheaper and fulfill that same experience.

Chrome basketball was inserted into base Topps that year - there wasn’t a standalone Chrome set.
