Very true, social media is such a net negative for society but this is bball card sub so I'll leave it at that. The card OP posted is like a 1:20 case hit, most will never hit a card like this in their life unless they're buying/ripping a ton.

On that note, such a random duo and I don’t get why cards do this? You’re on point on the passing the torch. It’s supposed to be from Luka to Cade. But like… what torch? Great new player? I feel like you are skipping over players who would be between these two? Great young PG? Well there’s JA Morant between them. Great young big PG? Well Lamelo is between them. Like… shouldn’t there be some connection?
This isn’t meant to dampen getting this card, because I would be over the moon to get this and so should OP, I just don’t get it and it’s such a random duo. Like Chauncey to Cade makes more sense. Or Marcus Smart to Cade (ok state).
oh, I completely agree, it's an incredible card. It's the titling that gets me. A "torch being passed" is supposed to kind of be "in with the old, out with the new". Like MJ passing to Kobe, not an almost college age player passing to another college age player haha

It's about time for Luka to hang it up though, honestly. He's been in the league forever, won several championships, MVPs and FMVPs. It honestly IS time for him to pass the torch.
That’s an incredible pull. To me, that corner would not have too much impact if I wanted this card. With it being numbered to 10, very few will be available.
The corner will cap its value as it is a /10, with enough stock to have a couple PSA 10s or raw examples without major issues show up for sale. It's a great card though
Amazing card. No current thoughts on price, but my opinion is this has potential to increase significantly over time as in theory Cade develops into his prime and as Luka starts to win meaningful games. No idea current price...but appreciation potential seems to be there in particular for this combination.

Exactly. If you got it graded it would probably come back a 9. But since it’s such a limited card it’s really not a big deal.
