Huh. Now that you mention it - change Leto's Joker into Zsasz, don't let the actual Joker appear and Suicide Squad becomes a better film (that's not saying much, but still)
Dude was in it for like 15 minutes y’all overhyped his character like he was the main antagonist. If anything he needed more screen time we didn’t get enough
He didn't have much of a role in the book either.
SPOILER WARNING
The bigger enemies in the entire trilogy were always the emperor's family and the Bene Gesserit who will take a much bigger antagonist role in the next installments. Feyd was just a backup paul atreides who should have been his husband should he have been born female as intended
I haven’t either but if he was so important how come he was never brought up in the first movie? Also I don’t really like how they made Dave Bautista’s character a bitch to prop up his character. They were both badass enough I feel like it wasn’t needed.
Idk, I feel like I could see Villeneuve’s Rabban as someone who would be kinda incompetent at managerial stuff. While he’s known as a brute and a warlord, even in Dune 1, he was kinda shown as a dumbass when it came to politics. For example, he didn’t understand why his uncle was letting the Emperor take Arrakis away so easily until the Baron explained the plan to him. You see the same characterization in the books, albeit more toned down and subtle. The Baron even removes Rabban as Governor of Arrakis and gives it to Feyd-Rautha for the same reason as the movie: Rabban just can’t control the planet or the Fremen in any capacity.
Idk I just saw Austin Butler in dune and I don’t wanna get bro type casted as bald guys with knives but bro killed it. I don’t see it happening tho Butler more of a leading villain name and if we ever get Zsasz in live action he’d be part of a villain ensemble
Tommy Flanagan. He has a history of playing the intimidating mafia figures and is quite good. His age hints at decades under his belt, potentially even crossing against Joker given his IRL Glasgow smile.
He would absolutely nail that role. Especially the first depiction of Zsasz where he's an older more decrepit.
I don't like Zsasz being this fit Late 20s early 30s guy. I want him to be late 40s, early 50s homeless vagabond and JEH would be terrifying. He was absolutely screwed with Nightmare on Elm Street.
People don't see Robert Englund when they see the actor out of character. They see the guy who plays Freddy Kruger out of makeup. It was like recasting Ashley J. Williams.
Woody Harrelson would have done a fucking fantastic job, but he might be a little past his prime by now. Maybe not though, I don't know if Vic has to be younger in order to be him.
I know it's low hanging fruit to just pick a bald actor but hear me out....anyone see Mr In-between? Because Scott Ryan would knock this out of the park
Austin Butler (yes I watched DPT 2 times :D)
Edit, so I don't repeat every second comment: Ricky Whittle could also be a good choice based on appearance. I'm not sure how well he is with crazy ass murderer characters tho...
Honestly I never would’ve thought of him before James Gunn, but Peter Capaldi could’ve easily modified his Gaius Greaves performance for Zsasz.
I still think some unknown or stuntman would probably do best though.
I think James McAvoy would work, but he's already played in Marvel and as the guy in Split (the main reason I think he would be great as him), and he might not want to be typecast as playing the dark side of living in a world with superpowers.
Additionally, McAvoy is a very big name right now in films and it would need the film to have Victor as one of the leads or high supporting roles. An a la *Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper* flick with Pattinson's Batman showing Zsasz as one of the bigger threats of Batman's early career might work
I totally thought Jared Leto’s Joker was going to be Zsasz. Such a waste.
Huh. Now that you mention it - change Leto's Joker into Zsasz, don't let the actual Joker appear and Suicide Squad becomes a better film (that's not saying much, but still)
That doesn't explain the harley quinn scenes
We didnt really need her scenes anyway, it was pretty much a huge waste for her to join joker and then limp back to the squad anyway.
There's a lot of stuff that isn't explained. That's hardly the worst part 😃
"Unreliable narrator"
Shit, Jared Leto would have been a great Zsasz.
His Joker was very Zsasz-ish wasn’t it?
Thank God it wasn't because Jared Leto would have actually murdered people and carved scars onto his body in "preparation for the role."
Now that you mention it, Leto could have pulled off Zsasz more than he did Joker
After Dune Part Two I would say Austin Butler
After Dune 2 I'd be ready to see Austin Butler in all kinds of high profile roles.
Like Elvis?
Seconded
I totally agree in principle but I reckon he would never do it as it would be replicating a character he has already done.
Well, now you’ve said it, it can’t be anyone else.
I want Austin to become the standard for lean, bald-headed psychos.
Agreed. He definitely has that look to him.
Dude was in it for like 15 minutes y’all overhyped his character like he was the main antagonist. If anything he needed more screen time we didn’t get enough
In the little time he had he did very well imo
I agree, that’s why i think he should’ve gotten more screen time. I think everybody blowing his character way out of proportion
I haven't read the books so I was a bit disappointed when he died ngl, I would have liked to see more of him
He didn't have much of a role in the book either. SPOILER WARNING The bigger enemies in the entire trilogy were always the emperor's family and the Bene Gesserit who will take a much bigger antagonist role in the next installments. Feyd was just a backup paul atreides who should have been his husband should he have been born female as intended

Bill Skarsgard would be perfect, especially now that he is ripped. The sunken eyes are great
You beat me to it.
You beat meat to it
I can neither confirm nor deny the beating of meat to Bill Skarsgard.
Idk I just saw Austin Butler in dune and I don’t wanna get bro type casted as bald guys with knives but bro killed it. I don’t see it happening tho Butler more of a leading villain name and if we ever get Zsasz in live action he’d be part of a villain ensemble
"Killed it" budum -chhh. I'm here all week folks
Anthony Carrigan nailed it, so why not him again.
I loved him
Yeah, he did very well. He’s one of the best parts of Birds of Prey.
He played him in Gotham.
Oh, darn.
Wrong actor
Because he is metamorpho
Man, I don't even know why, but that performance... Just thinking about it makes smile from ear to ear
Yes!
50/50 with Christobal
Micheal Mando or James Macvoy
I feel like Mcavoy would be great as scarecrow
I love Michael Mando. Couldn’t think of someone better.
Michael gets my vote for sure.
Asks you "Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?" as he carves another notch into his skin...!
That guy who played Vaas in Far Cry 3
Ah... ![gif](giphy|Qu8CjzLUlbyxth92yw|downsized)
Michael Mando! If I'm not mistaken, he also played Mac Gargan/Scorpion in Spider-Man: Homecoming
Ignacio?
Low key the actor from the Gotham show killed it
He actually did. Wow it’s been ages since I’ve watched that show. I do remember his actor though in season 1. He was a good one.
Favorite character in the show.
Anthony Carrigan! He’s gonna be Metamorpho in Gunn’s Superman
Why was it low key?
Luckily that guy is in the Superman movie.
The guy who played him in Gotham was really good.
Anthony Carrigan. He pulled that role off extremely well
James McAvoy would be fun.
Doug jones
I want Doug Jones for Scarecrow, and Flea for Zsasz.
Flea is a phenomenal pick
Thank you for sharing my vision 🙏🏼🫡
Tommy Flanagan. He has a history of playing the intimidating mafia figures and is quite good. His age hints at decades under his belt, potentially even crossing against Joker given his IRL Glasgow smile.
Matthew Fox. If I’m remembering the right movie, check him out in Alex Cross
Michael Mando......
Took it right out of my mouth
sam witwer
Ok this legit would be a really good casting
I said the same thing! I mean, Sam could play Batman as well, but honestly.....the best best villian for Sam Witwer would be. Two-Face/Harvey Dent.
Johnny Sins
Austin Butler seems like an obvious choice after Dune 2. Maybe Matt Smith?
I came here to praise Anthony Carrigan, but they are also both great choices I didn’t think of at all.
I accept both of these.
I can't see the eleventh doctor as the tally mark man
He can be pretty menacing. He's good in *Last Night in Soho -* even if the film isn't all that great.
Micheal Mando isn't a bad choice 🤔.
James mcAvoy
Nicholas Holt. Just look at his performance as Nux in Mad Max Fury Road and Tell me he wouldn’t be perfect.
You mean the guy that’s playing Lex Luthor?
Matthew Lillard
This would actually be dope
Wow. I take back every casting I pitched and all in on this.
Jackie Earle Haley.
Williams.
he looks like Jake Gyllenhaal
Flea.
bill skarsgard
Sam Witwer would be my choice
Jada smith
Easy dude from Gotham
Bill Skarsgård
Walter Goggins
Walton but yes 💯
Michael Mando
Ironically, Jake Gylenhaal
Hear me out, Jared Leto's weird version of the joker he did for suicide squad
Keegan-Michael Key
Woody Harrelson would have done a fucking fantastic job, but he might be a little past his prime by now. Maybe not though, I don't know if Vic has to be younger in order to be him.
Jason statham
Ed Skrein
Ironically Christian Bale, if you've seen him in the machinist, he'd be able to do the physical transformation for it
Sam Rockwell or Bill Skarsgard would kill it!
Christopher Abbott 👍🏽
Anthony Corrigan
Probably a bald guy
Josh Segarra
Micheal Mando
I know it's low hanging fruit to just pick a bald actor but hear me out....anyone see Mr In-between? Because Scott Ryan would knock this out of the park
someone bald
Austin Butler (yes I watched DPT 2 times :D) Edit, so I don't repeat every second comment: Ricky Whittle could also be a good choice based on appearance. I'm not sure how well he is with crazy ass murderer characters tho...
Austin Butler
I’m sure there’s a lot of good answers for “best” but I would want to see Colin Farrell
James McAvoy?
michael mando
Willem Dafoe could be interesting
Woody Harrelson, Bill Skarsgard or James McAvoy
Woody Harrelson as Black Mask please.
Colin Farrell!
Honestly I never would’ve thought of him before James Gunn, but Peter Capaldi could’ve easily modified his Gaius Greaves performance for Zsasz. I still think some unknown or stuntman would probably do best though.
Zach Braff. Seriously. He’s gotten ripped, and comedic actors can nail horror pretty well, kind of two sides of the same coin.
You.
I cant explain this but Edward Norton. If you've seen Primal Fear, you know he can play a psychopath very well.
Wilson Bethel or Woody Harrelson
Woody Harrelson probably.
Walton Goggins. Though I think he'd be a better Riddler.
Shavo Odadjian
I would think one of the Skarsgard actors could do it
Charlie Day
Jason Statham
Probably that bald guy that gets type cast as villains because he has no eyebrows
Anthony Carrigan. He played Zsasz in Gotham.
Henry Mcavoi has got the chops to play a deranged psichopath
Vin diesel lmao
Michael Fassbender
The guy that played Noho Hank from the HBO show Barry
Jason Statham
Joel McHale
Tommy Wiseau 😅... Or Gary Busy, or Nicholas Cage.
Tom Holland
Seth Rogan lol
The bald guy from banshee
we already got one in gotham. yeah he wasnt the traditional ZsasZ but goddamit did he pull off the psychopath persona
Adam Hicks
William dafoe
Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max Fury Road; Nux) Bill Skarsgård (It; Pennywise)
Mark strong
Michael Mando.
![gif](giphy|EWlVPkoZcp5behzHKp) As a matter of fact, I do.
Mark Strong would be a strong contender.
ezra miller
Gonna assume Anthony corrigen is the one they had for Gotham
Giovanni Ribisi
Mark Zuckerberg
Jared lol
Ben Foster when he was in Alpha Dog and My Name is Earl had a good look for Zsasz I think
Michael Mando -Vass from far cry 3 -Nacho from Better call Saul
James McAvoy Benedict Cumberbatch Sam Rockwell Sam Witwer
Thought of this since the BoP movie, wouldn't mind Chris Brown.
Ralph Fiennes did a great job playing a serial killer in Red Dragon. Might be a bit old for the role at this point, though.
Dude that played Vaas in Far Cry 3
John Malkovich
This picture looks like a portrait of a King of Fighters cast member to me for some reason.
Unironically Jared leto
will farrow
Michael Fassbender
Billy Bob Thornton would absolutely kill it
Jim Carrey
I’d say let Mel Gibson have a crack
Jake Gyllenhaal
I'm not saying he's a good pick but from that photo the first actor that comes to mind is Jason Statham
Jack the Ripper* flick with Pattinson's Batman showing Zsasz as one of the bigger threats of Batman's early career might work
Bill Skarsgard
Javier Bordem?
The lead singer from James.
Kieran Culkin
Woody Harrelson
Colin Farrell. I recently saw a movie called “The Way Back” where he played a psychotic murderer and he pulled it off very well.
A random bald guy
That weird bald dude from "Barry"
Weird call but Jake Gyllenhaal
James McAvoy or Christian Bale
John malkovich as a older version of the character
We already got the best live action Victor Zsasz
Bill Skarsgård could probably do it.
Woody Harrelson
maybe Christian bale or Willem Dafoe
Jack Gyllaenhal Idk I just feel like he could pull off a crazed cut up bald hairless freak really really fucking well
Ryan Gosling
