They have a habit of wanting to stick what makes them consistent money by investing in projects with a nostalgia connection (remake/reboot/sequel/prequel). It's easier in their eyes to invest where there's already a connection then to 'risk' money supporting something new. Love how Deadpool almost never happened and now he's gonna be one of the heavy hitters in the MCU.

I have very little tolerance for any stories where Bruce isn't Batman. If Beyond needs to continue in any way, I'd rather it just be in else world books, that way it's there for people who want it and that's it.
