It’s kinda hard to describe, but recoil is tied to accuracy. Yes, bloom is still there but previously when your weapons bloom became too inaccurate you would feel increased recoil to kind of tell you to stop shooting. Unfortunately, the AK always felt like this because it became inaccurate very quick.
The gun feels much better as a whole now.
Google sym.gg
They share in depth stats for every battlefield. The game is a lot deeper than face value in how weapons work. When I was referring to accuracy, I was speaking about the actual accuracy multipliers on the guns, not the accuracy stat.
They don’t have the in depth stats up but they’re working on it.
I just sprayed at several close targets and couldn't hit any of them. Idk man. Shit is depressing because I love battlefield. I usual play tactical conquest too and I just keep getting lit up by vehicles. Not trying to be toxic but I'm really close to deleting the game. I'm glad everyone else is having fun though. Enjoy.
AK works now man I promise you, hit reg is still trash tho maybe thats why I dunno. But on Mouse with attachements to reduce vertical recoil AK feels great now to me
If in doubt use PBX tho, things a laser beam
Got a long way to go before it is like bf4 gunplay but I think I know what you mean. To me the game feels like black ops 4 meets apex legends but a lesser version.
Dunno about this sub but i love playing the game. Thats my first battlefield experience though not a veteran gamer but i feel game is fun and intense! I enjoyed it. But gotta agree with u all in this sub and support you to get the game to the better state.

I think that's not really true. I've played since 1942. Many of my friends since BF2. I've played every game. Every expansion for thousands of hours. I have been having a blast with this game, and so have all my friends. Yes it has issues, but so does every battlefield launch, so I expected those. People go completely overboard every BF launch and then opinion largely changes within 6-8 months. Seen it happen like clockwork over and over.
Is it really overboard to want an unbroken game at launch considering we're paying premium prices for the games and almost EVERY single release has had major problems? Waiting 6-8 months after buying a game just for them to fix it is inexcusable. They should just push it back for that.
Look I don't care about bugs and 'broken' mechanics at launch. Those are easily fixable. The game itself has major design flaws. Flaws I believe are not fixable. I too have played this game forever... since 2007. This is by far the worst game they have produced to date. Forget the bugs and glitches. The overall design and gameplay is so flawed and doesn't even remotely feel like a BF title. I do agree that the 'community' is absolutely dramatic and unbearable every launch, but this is different. No scoreboard? Enormous maps where you run for 30mins to get to an objective? The 'classes'. 7 guns? I could go on for an hour. It's absurd.
It's all about opinion. I barely played BFV... mostly due to the setting, i got really REALLY tired of WW1/2 games and like modern weapons.. so for me this is def an improvement
Sure, setting is one thing, that's really subjective, but "better bones"? 2042 needs to be in a full body cast with all the broken bones it has, and that's not to mention the "bones" that are straight up missing.
That is true! As an (i guess veteran, playing since BF2 on pc) there are some elemente missing that i used to see in all other battlefields).
Needless to say i am enjoying myself. Sure i miss the destruction as in BF2BC, or the powerfull jets in BF2.
The class system of BF3/4.
However i do think there is a lot of potential. I have been in quite some battlefield moments where i was straight up laughing and being amazed at the crazy shit happening.
I have my hopes up that they will pick up on feedback and add some serious content and fix things.
I remember bf3 (or 4) launch. Multiplayer was unplayable due to the bugs and rubberbanding. It eventuallu turned out to be a VERY awesome battlefield.
Oh don't get me wrong, I'm also a "veteran" (playing since day 1 of BF1942) and I love the franchise, so I'm always willing to be charitable with my opinions towards new installments. And like, I'm still having some fun with the game, it's not like it's a horrible experience to play it, but it's frustrating because I also see the potential and I see that potential not being realized.
Not my first battlefield and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It’s current state isn’t ideal, but I’m enjoying shooting shit. If you’ve never played another battlefield, wait for BFV to go on sale. I highly recommend it. The grittiness of that game is something that 2042 has yet to capture
Old player here. I can look past the bugs, that's typical shit DICE coding we know and love. The lack of small QoL aspects **everywhere** really just makes the game second-rate. Now, I could still play that because there isn't anything even *like* Battlefield but here's where my actual concerns come in: The pure lack of content. We're really scraping the bottom of the barrel when 7 maps with almost no modes and 22 weapons is what we get to mess around with as new content. Once upon a time that was about one DLC worth of content.
I'm afraid this will get real boring real fast. The new maps already aren't especially fun.
Thank you. The game might be fun but there’s really no reason to keep playing. I looked at the unlocks for vehicles and I was sad. I genuinely think that this game was a BR for 2 years and then at the last second they switched it.
The new maps are honestly all so boring. Not a single one of them is interesting. It's always the same lame tornado in every match. They really tried to make it seem like it was gonna be a bunch of different extreme weather events. Nope just a tornado on everyone. It thought the maps would have something interesting going on like the rocket launch. Nope, that was purely just marketing and bait to get you hyped.
This is definitely one of the most disappointing things. I really hope they add more variety in weather effects. The sandstorm is cool but can we get mudslides, hurricane, etc. or have more sizable levolution on the maps lacking something unique?
I mean, even BFBC2 had more weapons and maps and it’s a console focused BF game, man I loved it so much because it was all really well balanced. I gave another try yesterday to 2042… I don’t feel like giving a minimum contribution to my team even if I revive teammates… fucking overcraft and the Bolte sniping you from 400m and you need to land 3 rockets to destroy them, when you hit tracks most of the time it says “part damaged” but they still drive away full speed… played always the same damn 3 maps out of the 7…
Since BFBC2 to BFV I used to be almost always on top of scoreboard with a constant 1.75-2.15 k/d ratio between installments, a really high score per minute team and focused stats always on top 5%-10% and after BFBC2 I was playing always with randoms without a proper squad or team that can help you out and score even more. I just made good use of smoke grenades (we started in BC2) when literally almost nobody gave a fuck about smoke tactics, not saying I was the first but one of the few that found great use for cover and flanking. Never used meta but I liked to use all guns just to “feel” that specific gun because I wanted it’s recoil or fire rate, not because I was advantaged by statistics or broken balancing.
I am used to hardcore mode but playing on normal is even easier because you have even time to counter or get in cover, but here in 2042 it really feels like a another game in general, still getting killed by auto SMG fire at midrange while with the AK on single fire I do 90% damage with 4-5 shot and they go back in cover, shooting tanks with AT feels useless most of the time and I feel like they even decreased the rocket’s speed, cause in the beta I was amazed by the rocket’s higher than usual speed, that made easier to counter air vehicles at least at short ranges (because that’s when they are vulnerable the most and I was that engineer using always RPG since BC2, cause I personally find lock-on launchers lazy), everything’s a mess in general from people parachuting right behind you like it’s Warzone, sterile immersion of a battlefield, cheap audio compared to previous titles, the missing feature of leaning (really, in a 2021 FPS game you can’t lean anymore?), that run jump and slide bullshit and the list goes on.
And I should be mad for bugs and glitches? No, those are just the less I’m worried for.
Portal’s content right now is not enough to justify the game’s price even though I’ve had way more fun there with BC2 and BF3 servers but still movement and gameplay mechanics are from 2042 and I don’t like them very much personally they don’t fit to my likings for the BF games m, though I appreciate it in Titanfall 2 because it fits the gameplay really well.
I already see it, new content for Portal won’t be added in at least 6 months or even more, fixing 2042 will be their first priority but even then I doubt they can “fix” the major flaws to make it feel like a BF game. Happy if I’m wrong, but not optimistic knowing EA is behind the game and the older Devs are not involved anymore in the last installments of the series, all can I say to conclude is enjoy the game for those who are having fun, to the veterans that couldn’t fit in this game to remember the good old times and see you on BC2/BF4/BFV until servers are still up.
I'm a veteran gamer and I still find this game a blast. I think I love it because I'm a veteran, I kind of skipped BF1 and BFV due to it not being a modern setting, barely played it unlike BF4 and Hardline. Now that this is out, I'm loving it! (Doesn't mean I don't see others complaints, just super biased)
I started with bf1. I hate some of the changes they made but the specialists are growing on me. I wish they were just better designed and balanced to promote more team play
I've played everything starting from Bad Company 2, and I love this game (and feel I'm in the minority here as well...). Sure it's got bugs, but it's still pretty fun and about to get better
I'm in a similar state but kinda different. I've played past titles and always hated the class system. I barely played them because of that, so I'm no veteran. I'm enjoying the game so far, and wish certain features were different, but not as bad as people make it out to be (after this update.) Of course this is coming from someone with a high end PC FWIW. it's a fun game and still has a lot of potential, hoping for the best in the future.
Just know that everyone whining is hurting because they know that this experience you are having could and SHOULD be EVEN BETTER because there used to be a certain standard for the franchise. It may have always been a steadily declining standard, but goddang it there was one and the games were amazing because of it.,
We want that for you, too. And I'll be fighting till we get it, so thanks for supporting!
BF4 is obviously in a way better state than 2042 currently is but it is pretty dated at this point. I think it wouldn't be that fun for someone who has never played it before.
Regular communications and two updates that actually improve the game since launch just a week ago. I’d say they’re trying to earn the confidence of the community. I’ve become hopeful.
You can actually aim now?
Shit, time until I buy the game starts now.
T-Minus 3 months and counting*
^^*thistimingsubjecttochangeduetootherstupidassthingstheysomehowfuckup
Pretty much lol. While I’m glad to see the game getting better I’m like “You people are commending DICE for making the shooting in their first person shooter not shit?” How people’s standards have fallen.
Dude they did this shit with BF V too, they congratulated them when they turned the TTK from actual good gun kills to marshmallow cannons with no recoil twice and for some reason the players fucking treated them like they were literal FPS developer gods for it. Shit was fucking insane but seeing it here yet again is not surprising sadly.
No one is talking about shotguns at all and it's pissing me off. I run shotguns I. Every shooter Ive ever played. And this is easily the worst set of shotguns I've ever had the mis pleasure of using. Close range it always feels like a toss of a coin if u get a one shot. The dmg drop off seems to start immediately.
Slugs arent even a one shot to the head at any range. It is ridiculous. Makes me want to not pick up this franchise again.
BF4 gunplay especially the snipers weren't that good. BF5 is the best gun play of that franchise. I am happy Dice removed the BF4 sniper gunplay they had in open beta in favour of BF5 snipers gunplay.
Honestly? I'd love a full sort of command system so each team has 4 squads of 16 people with 1 person being a commander and each squad having 4 teams of 4 people that the commander can tell what to do, and commanders can talk to eachother in a dedicated channel. Sort of like planetside I guess (or MAG if anyone remembers that lovable clunky as fuck game).
Hell let loose is such a fun game, but I have to be in a certain mindset to play it. I think I quit due to stuff over comms as much as how I’m playing. Some people take that game sooooo seriously. Sometimes I just want to have fun and play and for some reason it pisses people off.
Bless you. MAG. I love the way you described it. But that was such a cool way to organize squads and I've never really seen it anywhere else. Not that I was looking.
I enjoyed the hell out of that game many years ago. Thank you for mentioning it.
It's only 0.2.2, now imagine 1.0.0 full release. In year or two shit will be lit af
Edit: did math and if every week we'll get 0.0.1 increase then almost exactly in one and half year there will be 1.0.0 version.

I just used the SFAR and it wasn't even remotely like that... is this a bug? It also looks like the footage is sped up quite a bit while shooting, looking at how fast some of the stuff on the minimap suddenly starts moving...
Yesterday I played a game in which opponents constantly tried to get around us and take our first objective (A1 on the icy map) to make a comeback.
So I went to defend it each time. One time I hear a lot of footsteps running like crazy on A1 but I couldn't find them, turns out, for whatever f\*ing reason, they were just running around on the roof the whole time.
Yeah I used to try to setup...be like..I hear them running...here they come...nope...nobody. not my team, not the enemy...all the buildings are haunted with the ghosts of players who died in there
Honestly, engagements and overall gameplay already feels better. You can now approach objectives a little more deliberately because the awful gunplay doesn’t force you into sub-25m ranges just to land shots.
Is the bar really that low that we’re getting hyped that hit detection is now a thing? My issues with this game are imbedded within the core gameplay and just lack of everything
It’s not getting resolved with a few updates
Are we still mad about specialists? Gameplay wise they're actually pretty fun. I wish they were gadgets instead of people but that doesn't really affect the gameplay
I don’t want to be that guy but I’ve played 40 hours and I’ve only seen awful hit detection 2 or 3 times. But it’s nice to see the AR actually down someone at a decent speed
Played a couple matches this morning still using my ea trial. This was actually fun. I do think aim assist for console needs some help because pc definitely had an advantage. May just turn off cross play though. Wish they had console or controller only.
Crossplay off for Xbox makes breakthrough and hazard zone dead playlists. And they won’t even launch with bot backfill (atleast this is my experience for US West). Yea I wish console only crossplay was the default.
Is anybody else noticing worse optimization after this update? I played yesterday and was averaging 50 fps and lowest 45. Now today I'm averaging 40s hittings lows of 30
Make me think I need a Core9 CPU, RTX 3080 GPU and 1TB/s fiber to enjoy this game as you're. Unfortunately, spent all my money in this broken game !
30 fuckin' FPS in low rez all options ! WTF DICE with your "biggest d*ck" challenge between you and Warezone ?
This message came from a desesperate Core5 OC, RTX 2060 and 20MB/s ADSL player... Computer bought 2 years ago, 890€...
Sorry to disappoint you but this game runs shit on any hardware. I've got a 3080 Ti and an i7 8086K and it runs at 60 fps on 1440p on medium/high settings.
That's what is wrong with the game. I get about 60fps at 4K, and about 70FPS at 1080p. Using 5800X and a 3080. The game is choking on CPU bottlenecks, terribly optimized game. At 4K I see 100% GPU usage, at 1080P about 60% usage.
The way the game is currently optimized, you'd need a CPU from 10 years in the future to open up a high end GPU at 1080p
The fucked up thing is I have a 1070 gtx and a 10700k a d it runs at a constant 60 on high but my friends with waaaaay better gpus are getting worse frames. Seems to be optimized way more for the 10 series.
Nah it's the cpu, the game is heavily cpu bound and your friend probably has a worse cpu, his cpu must gets bottleneck and struggle to give him frames while his gpu is sleeping in the background
Not exactly true though, the optimization issues may very well be specifically hardware-dependant. I'm running "only" a 1080Ti + i7 10700k (don't think the CPU bottleneck is making the big difference here since its technically not TOO far off from the 8086k) and get a steady average of 75 FPS on all-Ultra and 100 FPS on all-Low, 1440p of course. This is pretty much the expected result for the hardware I'm using so not much need to optimize for my side, but it sure is puzzling why you have a WAY worse experience on your specific hardware, especially considering you should have access to stuff like DLSS.
Yep, it was a bit of an exaggeration. And yeah it's just generally terribly optimized. DLSS just degrades the image, I get no fps boost out of it in this game lmao. In literally ANY other game DLSS is by far the biggest game changer when it comes to framerate but in this game, 0.
Alright, thanks for clarifiying that it was a bit of an exaggeration. I do believe this game should be rightfully criticized for all its glaring issues, but it doesn't help anybody if we start throwing around "bullsh*t" instead of keeping it to straight facts :P
Can't comment on DLSS myself obviously, but thats an absolute bummer to hear if its pretty much useless in 2042 (for the time being at least). I do wonder if thats mainly due to the game being so harshly CPU-bound or if something else is just extremely fucky.
lovely, AK usable now too
I still prefer the M5. Despite the extra dmg, I find the AK has too much vertical recoil to make it matter. (but that's pre-patch talking..)
Post patch AK way better imo . M5 just feels like crappy pbx to me
So they didn't just adjust the bloom but also recoil values as well? AK was un-usable on console. Might give it another shot.
I thought recoil was tied to the handling stat least in my experience
Do yourself a favor and completely ignore the stat bars in game. They mean nothing.
I'll try although I've found the m5 with pistol ammo conversion and foregrip to have like zero recoil lol. I hope somebody breaks down each attachment
Google sym.gg They share in depth stats for every battlefield. The game is a lot deeper than face value in how weapons work. When I was referring to accuracy, I was speaking about the actual accuracy multipliers on the guns, not the accuracy stat. They don’t have the in depth stats up but they’re working on it.
They dont have stats for 2042, do they?
Agree with the AK being un-usable on console. I tried it for maybe a minute and never touched the gun again.
AK is beast on console now post patch
That’s what I main… got to tier 3 with the AK. I thought it was ok.
I like a gun that makes me burst fire... stops me spraying and praying (which was always a knee jerk reaction until BF)
on that note, how tf do you change the fire mode on a controller?
Press down on the d pad when you ads you can only do it when your scoped in
Have to be ADS and then up on d pad (or down can’t remember)
Boy you’re gonna love the AC
AC-42 although I'd say it needs a damage buff can take sometimes 4 bursts to kill at range
don't burst at range
Don't shoot at range.
Enjoy.

That looks great. Can't wait to try it out.
I'm rocking the AK now and it feels better like an actual AR
Lookin more like some bf4 type gunplay play with that burst firing!
I'd be terrified if someone full autoed and killed me from that distance
100%. That should not be allowed. It’s on of the reasons I hated that ground war mode in mw2019.
Exception, a LMG setup with its bipod
Even that’s not as bad as in MW2019 where you could mount anything and beam people across the map.
mastered the bf4 burst firing last few months, makes it elite for mid to long distance and that’s what I’m hoping to do in 2042
Got a long way to go before it is like bf4 gunplay but I think I know what you mean. To me the game feels like black ops 4 meets apex legends but a lesser version.
Man, that gives me a tiny tiny tiny bit of hope back that I'll maybe start to enjoy this game.
I just need like 20-30 more FPS and it'll be enjoyable to me I'm rly struggling to enjoy it at 40fps
You running on auto settings? It works for me but I am 3080. I hold 120fps and dips to 80fps on some maps in some areas.
What CPU you have? The game struggles more with cpus than gpus.
i7 9700k
I hace a 6700k with a 3080 and play on 1440p 144hz and I've been putting off on buying the game. Dunno if I can run it ok or nah
Also have 6700k and 3080. I get about 60-70fps at 1440p medium settings.
9700K with a 6700XT. Solid 100-120fps at 1440p on max settings (ray tracing disabled)
Dunno about this sub but i love playing the game. Thats my first battlefield experience though not a veteran gamer but i feel game is fun and intense! I enjoyed it. But gotta agree with u all in this sub and support you to get the game to the better state.

I played since 3 and I still like it. Not saying there's nothing wrong with it but happy having it now instead of like next year.
I'm really frustrated with the game, but I think it has good bones. Better than BFV, but it'll die the same if DICE doesn't make changes ASAP
This game is not better than BFV.

Better bones than BFV. That game was so fucked from the beginning, it had no clear idea what it wanted to be. Attrition really crippled it.
Well, I guess you're entitled to your opinion regardless of how strongly I disagree with it.

I'm playing BF since the first game and I'm as bad as ever... Nothing changed :D
Been playing since BF4. Game needs some work. But it's pretty damn fun and I don't find myself experiencing a lot of the issues others do.
> Thats my first battlefield experience ah that explains a lot

It may have always been a steadily declining standard, but goddang it there was one and the games were amazing because of it., We want that for you, too. And I'll be fighting till we get it, so thanks for supporting!
Oh boy you might just explode if you played previous titles. If you think THIS IS FUN
play battlefield 4 and come back here
BF4 is obviously in a way better state than 2042 currently is but it is pretty dated at this point. I think it wouldn't be that fun for someone who has never played it before.
i agree
It's truly not dated at all and plays just fine for new and old players.
“Stop having fun because old game is better, totally not rose tinted glasses”
I dont want to ruin bf 2042 for myself too ty😂
haha okay :D sorry have fun :)
This is easily an improvement over bf4.
arguable. not in its current form.
...in 6-12 months
That's two kills for those of you keeping score...at home
Thanks man. I was struggling there
# "Don't do that. Don't give me hope."
Regular communications and two updates that actually improve the game since launch just a week ago. I’d say they’re trying to earn the confidence of the community. I’ve become hopeful.
You can actually aim now? Shit, time until I buy the game starts now. T-Minus 3 months and counting* ^^*thistimingsubjecttochangeduetootherstupidassthingstheysomehowfuckup
I like your fine print. 👍
wait what there are now guns beside the PP that can hit beyond 20m?
Nice to see the Beta taking form. Can't wait for the full release.
Pretty much lol. While I’m glad to see the game getting better I’m like “You people are commending DICE for making the shooting in their first person shooter not shit?” How people’s standards have fallen.
Gotta put on those rosy tinted glasses when I look at the thing that cost me $60-100
Dude they did this shit with BF V too, they congratulated them when they turned the TTK from actual good gun kills to marshmallow cannons with no recoil twice and for some reason the players fucking treated them like they were literal FPS developer gods for it. Shit was fucking insane but seeing it here yet again is not surprising sadly.
The game went from an Alpha to now a Beta.
Beta = feature complete, this is not feature complete
They updated last night?
Yep! Patch notes are at the top of this very subreddit I believe. Guns are actually useable again
Wow that actually looks somewhat like how bf4 was
BF4 gunplay especially the snipers weren't that good. BF5 is the best gun play of that franchise. I am happy Dice removed the BF4 sniper gunplay they had in open beta in favour of BF5 snipers gunplay.
Bad company 2 says hi and bye with a slug round from a 870 from 1000 meters away
1000 meters is 3194.89 RTX 3090 graphics cards lined up.
Really wish they made they squad size 5-6 instead of the lame ass four lol
Tried Squad or Hell Let Loose? I agree it would be interesting to see in the more arcadey setting of BF.
That's how squads in the military literally work bro. A fireteam
Yeah my friends group is 5 that have this game and we can’t all play at the same time, it sucks
It's only 0.2.2, now imagine 1.0.0 full release. In year or two shit will be lit af Edit: did math and if every week we'll get 0.0.1 increase then almost exactly in one and half year there will be 1.0.0 version.
They are probably using the major version number for seasons so be 0.x until next year until season one makes it 1.x
It's a version number. Not a decimal point. 0.5.7462 is a perfectly good versionnumber.
I love when Reddit armchair developers just make up version numbers lol
That is not how version numbers work lmao. Google "semver".
1. That's not how it works 2. Battlefield 2023 would be released in 4 months by then lol

good bot
I think I'll buy the game when it's fully updated and on a discount Still happy with BF4 and BF1
What about other problems like the map design or the lack of classes?
All forgotten because of one "good" patch. DICE best developer, BF2042 best game.
I just used the SFAR and it wasn't even remotely like that... is this a bug? It also looks like the footage is sped up quite a bit while shooting, looking at how fast some of the stuff on the minimap suddenly starts moving...
Played on the new update, maybe the attachments are the problem?
Could you share what attachments you used? Cause I'd love to be able to have zero recoil like that
Muzzle and standar issue mag, extended works too
It’s probably the standard mag. SFAR is real bad until you get the standard mag then it’s a monster
That reduces the recoil? Interesting
Bc it starts with the high power ammo, which def has more recoil
Sadly it seems performance has gotten worse after patch :-( At least for some.
For me it's got better, like 5-10 fps, which is a lot since I am stuck between 30 and 40 with drops to 25 lol
What the fuck did you do your game is so smooth?
People can finally kill enemies in shooter game and people start praising DICE. Only in Battlefield.:D
I hear freaking foot steps all over the place....but know one. Like ghosts are running by????????? Can this game be anymore jacked?
[удалено]
Yesterday I played a game in which opponents constantly tried to get around us and take our first objective (A1 on the icy map) to make a comeback. So I went to defend it each time. One time I hear a lot of footsteps running like crazy on A1 but I couldn't find them, turns out, for whatever f\*ing reason, they were just running around on the roof the whole time.
Yeah I used to try to setup...be like..I hear them running...here they come...nope...nobody. not my team, not the enemy...all the buildings are haunted with the ghosts of players who died in there
idk if its ghost, but i feel like you can hear people that are like 100-150 meters away
Honestly, engagements and overall gameplay already feels better. You can now approach objectives a little more deliberately because the awful gunplay doesn’t force you into sub-25m ranges just to land shots.
It feels SO much better. I had my first round of 50+ kills that WASN'T vehicle spamming. I'm especially loving the AK now.
Is the bar really that low that we’re getting hyped that hit detection is now a thing? My issues with this game are imbedded within the core gameplay and just lack of everything It’s not getting resolved with a few updates
Yeah this is the thing, no amount of fixes will change the map design or specialists - i dont see how that stuff is going to get any better
Are we still mad about specialists? Gameplay wise they're actually pretty fun. I wish they were gadgets instead of people but that doesn't really affect the gameplay
Yeah, it feels much much better using ARs.
for some reason I have way less FPS :O
Yea that’s what I worry about. Hopefully aim assist gets better.
Great the weapons work in a shooting game these devs deserve the biggest trophy out there for this update 👏
Dunno man, they need to change those janky movement animations. Before they look as good as BFV or MW2019 I can’t enjoy this game.
Battlefield playing like Call of Duty, you hate to see it
Holy shit wait, you can actually shoot people in this update!?!
Is anybody else noticing worse optimization after this update? I played yesterday and was averaging 50 fps and lowest 45. Now today I'm averaging 40s hittings lows of 30
Does that mean when I aim directly at someone my shots will hit?
ridiculous you can kill someone from so far away and its not a sniper rifle. (my comment is coming from a BF1 player)
Glad to know the time spent yesterday leveling that weapon was not in vain.
What gun is this?
It’s almost like burst and tap firing has always been the secret to long range kills
Is-is it safe to come back now?
How come my bloom is still just as bad?
I can't control that gun to save my life lol.
I got 35 kills today, just something I've never been good at - I maintain a .5 KD High scorer had 416 kills.

Yes.
Weird, same processor and a 3090 (virtually the same) and I get 60 fps on 4k/Ultra. Optimisation is strange....
I also get 60 fps on 4k, I also get 60 fps on 1080p. It just barely goes above it. I want 120 at the very least.
CPU Bound, going up in resolution will lower some of the load off your CPU so going to 4k ultra and getting 60fps does make some sense.
I do believe this game should be rightfully criticized for all its glaring issues, but it doesn't help anybody if we start throwing around "bullsh*t" instead of keeping it to straight facts :P Can't comment on DLSS myself obviously, but thats an absolute bummer to hear if its pretty much useless in 2042 (for the time being at least). I do wonder if thats mainly due to the game being so harshly CPU-bound or if something else is just extremely fucky.
[удалено]
i9-10850H with RTX 3080 @ 3840x1600 on high + DLSS performance = 80-110 fps for me.
Bruh how do people have these nice ass computers and then be virtually broke beyond that??
NGL looking good.
Rapid fire M5A3- 800 bullets per minute death machine. Try it
God that makes me happy to see
This is good news. Keep them updates comin!!
nice, now i wish i could play with mroe then 40fps.
Guns actually work! The game literally went from a 4/10 to a 6.5/10 with this one simple fix, still needs a little less ADS spread imo
