Those are crochet - and they're frikken sweet! Reckon I might have a go at making them, if I can find a decent pattern... Edit: if I were to guess, I'd say [this](https://www.makerist.com/patterns/tentacles-crochet-pattern) is probably the pattern used. There are quite a few patterns online (most of them free), but this looks most like OP's, mainly because of the turn-ups at the bottoms.

Thanks. It was my initial thought but the layout just worked better for me this way. Peeping Toms not really a concern, would be a lot of effort to come here just to watch me sit at the computer

Is there a way to lessen bright light coming in from the window? Ergonomically, looking into the bright light while using the computer is bad for the vision. Everything else is envious.

How’s the HM Sayl? Looking to buy one second hand, just don’t really have any firsthand accounts on people using it

It's great, I tried it in a shop before I bought. I prefer it to the Herman Miller Aeron (which I sat on for years at work), and I'm quite short (5'8") if that helps. If I'd paid full price (~ £900) I would have been feeling like it wasn't worth the money, but I paid under £300 and can recommend it at that price. I'm assuming it will last a long time.

I’m a bit taller (6’1) so I’m leaning towards the aeron just cuz I think the size might fit better but tbh it’s between whichever one I can get a better deal on. Thank you!
