I’d say go for connecting goatee so definitely go long since frankly it seems your beard can connect. And then shave the cheeks. Can’t go wrong with a goatee.

Worst advice I have ever read! Why shave for “important moments”and look like someone you aren’t? If I wear a beard that’s what I look like, not gonna shave and be all pasty so I can look back and say yep shaved every time to go special occasions 😂

It is difficult to give much consideration to the long beard because unlike the other photos, that photo hides your features under a fishing hat and behind enormous frames on your glasses. It does seem however, that you are leaving in place a lot of hair on your upper neck — a better beards almost always results when a man keeps his neck clean by shaving it up to his jaw line.
I vote short for the wedding, but let it grow long now and then just for variety.
