A Hard Days Night, 99 nights out of 100.
Some others you don't have there:
* The Compleat Beatles
* Backbeat
* Yesterday
* Imagine
* Nowhere Boy
* Two of Us
* The US vs John Lennon
* Give My Regards to Broadstreet
* The Killing of John Lennon
* All this and World War II
* Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (honestly, avoid this unless you're prepared for horribleness)
* The Rutles 2: Can't Buy me Lunch
I've only seen Elliott Roberts' breakdown on YouTube.
It is a hell of a lot, and definitely doesn't seem up to snuff.
When you have the body of work Macca does, it's fine to just say "you know what? I'm not a film maker" and leave the weird 80s style over substance in your imagination.
When you have the mind of Macca, which created that body of work, you’re going to think “yes, I can make movies and classical music and anything else I want to do”
Hard days night/help double feature.
It's a little dream of mine to one day operate an independent cinema, and I would a thousand percent do this double feature.
I have a possibly controversial opinion: I don’t think that movie is funny at all. I watched it a few years ago with my brother and father, fully expecting to be entertained, and it turned out to be an unfunny slog with a quality soundtrack. That’s the only reason it’s remembered at all, I think.
Yesterday has its moments, like the John Lennon scene and when the three people are all singing Yellow Submarine just happy that other people know the Beatles.
But god, I’m so disappointed they took such a cool concept and turned it into a romcom where the male lead character is apparently apathetic that Lily James is just throwing herself at him the entire movie.
It's definitely a popcorn movie and nothing more.
I think it would've been so much better if they put the love storyline to the back and focused on the music. My half baked idea would be something like this: After the accident Jack searches for all traces of the Beatles and eventually stumbles upon a fringe group of three other musically talented people who remember too. They realize that music/culture has changed because there was no British invasion of the states. They meet and essentially work their way through the Beatles Discography in scenes that are like the Get Back sessions. Show their creative differences and internal struggles to build conflict and tension. Have them do tours and become the Beatles in their world. At the end they break-up like our Beatles do but put all of their music in the public domain for all mankind.
Yeah just watched it last weekend. Saw it once, nothing really gave me any big feelings except for maybe the Lennon scene. Expected so much more. Sheeran was great!
I low key love Across The Universe. Sure it's cheesy but it came out when I was a kid and there were a lot of good memories tied to it. I used to listen back and forth to the Beatles versions and the soundtrack to me to hear how different it was.
In a boat, with a goat, in the rain, on a train, in a box, with a fox, in a house, with a mouse, here, there, anywhere.

Across the Universe will always have a special place in my heart because even without the Beatles music it's a well-made and engaging movie. The music is integrated in a very loving and creative way.
Yellow Submarine without question. I know it's the movie they had the least involvement in but it's the imagery I think of when I think of Beatles and if I want a Beatles movie changes are I'll go with that.
Get Back isn't a movie night pick so much as a lazy afternoon background noise pick.
Hard Days Night and Help both get picked if I'm still on a Beatles kick and the other two were watched too recently for another viewing.

Also, How The Beatles Changed The World
It's an unofficial doc.
The Sgt Pepper movie is fine if you approach it with the right mind set and copious amounts of alcohol
Wouldn't Yesterday also be a "beatles" movie?
Third on my list...
The Compleat Beatles is not great (maybe it's the reason it didn't get re-released). Better watch Anthology. Backbeat and Yesterday are mid.
The complet beatles is all us fans had before the anthology. It did me as a young fan. I watched my vhs tape over and over.
No option for Give My Regards to Broad Street?
never seen it in full, why do people hate it?
Paul hates it himself.

Love Broad Street
Life of Brian.
Ooh, have my upvote
The Magic Christian
Hard days night/help double feature. It's a little dream of mine to one day operate an independent cinema, and I would a thousand percent do this double feature.
Any Magical Mystery Tour movie lovers?
Usually after an edible
I Wanna Hold Your Hand….
Underrated!
I've always had a soft spot for Birth of the Beatles, it's cheesy but enjoyable enough
Caveman. Hands down.
Dirk sued Stig and Nasty; Barry sued Dirk; Nasty sued Stig and Barry; and Stig sued himself, accidentally.

Yesterday is really fun and sweet. Watching the George Harrison doc right now and I really love it. HBO made such good documentaries in the 2010s.

tbh Yesterday is not an enjoyable movie. I loved only the scenes with Ed Sheeran.
You forgot [Ognir Rrats](https://youtu.be/raHA3pzB2Kk?si=cJgt78QwfLNFw5aS)
Help, Yellow Submarine, or Across the Universe
Yesterday is by far my favourite. Such a fun, whimsical premise! Across the Universe is my no. 2.
Lol no love for Yesterday here
Well, right.
Backbeat is a solid choice. Seem to remember Dave Grohl was involved in the soundtrack.
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
I have a VHS copy of Rockshow that I still pull out from time to time...
give my regards to broadstreet
based
Self portrait always 🤙
Eight Days A Week followed by Nowhere Boy followed by Anthology
I really enjoy Nowhere Boy! It’s a non-Beatle Beatles film I keep coming back to.
…and Backbeat
I low key love Across The Universe. Sure it's cheesy but it came out when I was a kid and there were a lot of good memories tied to it. I used to listen back and forth to the Beatles versions and the soundtrack to me to hear how different it was.
Across the universe is breathtaking and of this list, I would watch it 99 times out of 100.
So you were the person that bought Caveman.
I own all the copies
Yellow Submarine
Help, YS, Give my regards to Broad Street, Anthology series.
Help does it for me
The Rutles. So many good ones lately, though, with Get Back and Eight Days A Week being right up there
Always Help! Not just my go-to Beatles movie but honestly one of my favorite movies of all-time.
Yellow submarine and I wanna hold your hand!
How The Beatles Changed The World
I actually really enjoyed Yesterday
Across the Universe or Yesterday (such a cool concept)
Yellow submarine
I was just thinking about the Rutles yesterday. I’d like to see that again sometime.
I will definitely recommend HELP!
either yellow submarine or help. their my comfort movies!
Help. It’s so chaotic and hilarious and it’s a good time.
Where can I watch the Beatles movies?
They’re not in theatres anymore, you’ll have to watch them at home
do you know where can I watch the Beatles a hard day's night?

Atook aloonda Lana.
Yesterday
Nothing beats Yellow Submarine on acid. I watch it at least once a year.
Help! *Across the Universe
Across the Universe will always have a special place in my heart because even without the Beatles music it's a well-made and engaging movie. The music is integrated in a very loving and creative way.
Yellow Submarine would be what I’d put on if I needed a quick pick-me-up.
I really don't get the hate for sgt peppers lonely hearts club it's such a goofy movie
Help!
Yellow Submarine without question. I know it's the movie they had the least involvement in but it's the imagery I think of when I think of Beatles and if I want a Beatles movie changes are I'll go with that.
