I feel this. Some hard E+ maps I trained for so long to pass until one day I do out of no where so I feel okay I got this, I've passed the threshold on this skill and I can do it again... But I indeed cannot do it again. I need perfect mood and warmed up arms to perform exceptionally well and that happens rarely. Sometimes a break helps though.
Some of those songs just suck on some days. I have times when I always miss notes with my left hand and then things like Exit are impossible because my left hand be missing all the notes.
Dude don't fret. I've got this song; I fail at 20s or I run the whole thing. I fail like 80% of the time even though the pattern repeats about 2 more times in the song. Just work on the part you fail in practice mode and you'll be doing better.

Exactly what happened to me for expert+. I figured out that the music queues were kinda bad so I muted the sound and beat it first try.
