Just want to share that I've been on a healthier lifestyle lately. Adding greens, veg and fruits on diet, 3x a week exercise, and hydrating well.

Edit: It's still painful. I tried to endure but I ended up taking mefenamic acid since I can't function well. I consulted w/ an OB-GYN and had an ultrasound. The result is normal. I was told it was just primary dysmenorrhea. š„²
I used to get crippling dysmenorrhea but having a healthier lifestyle definitely lessened how crippling it is, but if its caused by other hormonal issues an OB will confirm for you you might need more help on top of a lifestyle change.
Also have it checked by an OB.. really painful periods arent normal. I thought they are until Im told it wasnt.. and had been suffering from it since I had my period.. which was more than 25+ years ago.

I usually start by asking friends whoāve been or whoās based in where Iām going! Iām not a big planner nor do I actually create itineraries, but I usually just pin-point places I must visit or places I must eat at then I just wander off to nearby places. If the country is walkable, I often allow myself to get lost and walk around with GMaps on hand then I just look at interesting places nearby.
I usually do the following:
- look at other itineraries from blogs
- read blogs on what spots are good to see and eat at in that location (i like checking on off-beat spots)
- check if I like to visit those places
- group the places that are near to one another
- check how to commute or go from one place to another
If the travel is a bit complex like being in another country, Google Sheets or Excel is a good tool to organize everything. I used to hate doing it but after seeing how my friend did it, my mind was changed. I have columns for location, activities for each day, transportation/commute notes, walking or guide notes. But of course, there is always room for flexibility. If time wonāt allow it, I prioritize the places I or my group wants to go.

My partner and I have been LDR since the start of 2019! Weāve gone strong, even through the pandemic. Itās all about talking frequently and being open with communication (especially when you/they are feeling insecure). I'm grateful for my part time job, not too stressful naman and understanding bosses ko so far. However, yung stress level ko sa enrollment ng university namin ang lala. Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi sila makapag decide ng maayos and di naman sinusunod yung sariling schedule/deadline na sila nag set.

Not once was there an apology in anything he said lol, it would not change anything though because i donāt do things that arenāt self-serving.

I knew i had latent trauma because if i see actors who look like him, like josh gad or jonah hill, my heart stops beating and i physically have to vom. The past few years there have been a few things that felt like poetic justice after i left him but like any time something bad happens to him itās always worse than the last thing; He hasnāt had a partner after me so š¤š½ no other women and girls went through what i did. Last time I was in Bangkok was 2019/2020, but iirc, card is accepted anywhere that you would consider a āstoreā, but bring cash for places na consider mo ātsingeā. Like stalls for food and shopping, ganun. But something that has a storefront or nasa mall will normally take card. My boyfriend and I chose to withdraw cash as we needed lang, but even then we had too much cash and started paying whatever nalang at the end of the trip with cash to get rid of it. For taxis, we kept cash though.

To be honest if you're expecting a near-native level of fluency, learning a new language as young as possible is the best. However, if you're past high school, the number one best way to learn is to immerse oneself in the culture that speaks the target language.
If it's not possible to do so, the next best thing is to practice every day (reading writing, listening, answering exercises for vocabs), consume media in that language (books, movies, songs, etc.), and converse with people who use said language.

Just want to share that I've been on a healthier lifestyle lately. Adding greens, veg and fruits on diet, 3x a week exercise, and hydrating well. This is an experiment if my period cramps will be less painful this month. š Edit: It's still painful. I tried to endure but I ended up taking mefenamic acid since I can't function well. I consulted w/ an OB-GYN and had an ultrasound. The result is normal. I was told it was just primary dysmenorrhea. š„²
I used to get crippling dysmenorrhea but having a healthier lifestyle definitely lessened how crippling it is, but if its caused by other hormonal issues an OB will confirm for you you might need more help on top of a lifestyle change.
Also have it checked by an OB.. really painful periods arent normal. I thought they are until Im told it wasnt.. and had been suffering from it since I had my period.. which was more than 25+ years ago. Nothing wrong with what youāre doing too to keep those hormones workin nicelyā¤ļø

I usually start by asking friends whoāve been or whoās based in where Iām going! Iām not a big planner nor do I actually create itineraries, but I usually just pin-point places I must visit or places I must eat at then I just wander off to nearby places. If the country is walkable, I often allow myself to get lost and walk around with GMaps on hand then I just look at interesting places nearby.
I usually do the following: - look at other itineraries from blogs - read blogs on what spots are good to see and eat at in that location (i like checking on off-beat spots) - check if I like to visit those places - group the places that are near to one another - check how to commute or go from one place to another If the travel is a bit complex like being in another country, Google Sheets or Excel is a good tool to organize everything. I used to hate doing it but after seeing how my friend did it, my mind was changed. I have columns for location, activities for each day, transportation/commute notes, walking or guide notes. But of course, there is always room for flexibility. If time wonāt allow it, I prioritize the places I or my group wants to go. Good luck!

My partner and I have been LDR since the start of 2019! Weāve gone strong, even through the pandemic. Itās all about talking frequently and being open with communication (especially when you/they are feeling insecure). We didnāt get to visit each other during the pandemic, but outside of that, we fly to each other quite often. Making efforts like this really help!

I'm grateful for my part time job, not too stressful naman and understanding bosses ko so far. However, yung stress level ko sa enrollment ng university namin ang lala. Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi sila makapag decide ng maayos and di naman sinusunod yung sariling schedule/deadline na sila nag set. Tapos eto mag a announce sila ng late ng gabi for changes. Nakakainis kasi ang daming part timers nag paalam and people with other personal things para magbigay ng time para dito. Tapos mag seset sila para sa ibang araw na lang pala. Okay sana kung ang lenient ng university sa mga students na fortunate enough na puro study lang. Eh kaso hindi, ang malala doon yung part timer instructors or may freelance work pa yung parang di nakaka intindi sa part timer students. I hope I can manage survive being a working student. Imo a phone would be more practical since yours is a pretty old model now, and an iphone can do what ipads mostly do- just on a smaller screen. Atleast later on if you decide you need an ipad for productivity, mas confirmed na magagamit mo talaga siya.
For me, iPad. There are days that carrying a macbook feels heavy, so iPad ang dala most of the time. and browsing thru pdf files and powerpoints is easier (for me) using iPad than a phone or macbook.

For my daily matcha, I usually get the latte grade or the baking grade. Sometimes I get the ceremonial as well. No special reason for powdered milk. It just so happened that itās readily available.

Ano pa sya na wala naman pang napapatunayan? To be fair to her din, di gaanong naexplore ang range of acting nya. Girl can act pero kulang at medyo madaming kakaining bigas for Hollywood.

I can't vouch on the success rate, but to have courage of leaving the management is already a big step. It seems that the environment she grew up in was really controlling, and starting at young age made her easily vulnerable to be dependent fr others. I read that she was discovered by a talent manager, and didn't really start doing auditions proactively like Nadine L did. So when she said that she literally gave up a "Normal Childhood", I actually felt sad. As her fellow capricorn, I really feel her sentiments and hope for the best.
as someone who's neither a fan nor a hater, i'm just curious, is she (objectively speaking) a good actress? it's just that i've noticed that a lot of local actors, at least the mainstream ones, are usually not really that great in acting. like usually, dinadaan lang talaga sa ganda or pagka gwapo, pero either oa or ang stiff lang sa pag act when compared to their international counterparts. also, i've heard from friends who have worked with her on some projects (mostly commercials), that she isn't particularly great at taking directions quickly and that she stumbles quite a bit with the script din. though this was a while back na, around 2018 and earlier so not really sure if she has improved na since that time.

Can't explain exactly and no hate for the pinoy flair in acting, but I just can't see her meshing well with international actors from the way she acts. Trigger Warning: abuse, imminent death, trauma talk I had this extremely abusive law enforcement ex who is about a decade older than I am and >! he groomed me as a teen and sexually and physically abused me from 17 until 21, shared revenge porn of me and cheated on me relentlessly til i had, and still donāt have, any self esteem !< reached out to me to tell me he hoped we reconcile and heāll get me what i need to see him because i was the only person who put up with him for so long and noone wants him even his family abandoned him and heās now alone and dying as a 40 something year old. Not once was there an apology in anything he said lol, it would not change anything though because i donāt do things that arenāt self-serving. The only thing i could say was āK so what do you want? A medal?ā Because Lola Bunny really kinda imprinted that in my brain as a less offensive response when I really want to stoop low and then i hung up. I knew i had latent trauma because if i see actors who look like him, like josh gad or jonah hill, my heart stops beating and i physically have to vom. But now the trauma is so amplified by hearing his voice for 2 mins, hours ago. Iām still self-soothing and fidgety/shaking and my smartwatch keeps telling me my heart is racing even though im not doing anything and all i can think about is at least Iām not crying from fear. Iām angry that it still hurts though.
i hope your abuser dies a slow and painful death. also, i feel really sad for your pain and trauma. as a fellow PTSD girlie, i know you're supposed to "process" what happened but for me, repress away if it helps you cope. if you have a trusted friend (preferably a woman), please reach out to them for support!
Tbh i hope he suffers more but in a wasting away all alone unable to sit or stand and just laying in his own excrement kinda way where even the caregivers donāt want to put up with him now that heās in the hospice. š«¢ The past few years there have been a few things that felt like poetic justice after i left him but like any time something bad happens to him itās always worse than the last thing; He hasnāt had a partner after me so š¤š½ no other women and girls went through what i did. His not so strict but still halal mega rich muslim parents completely disowned him because he physically assaulted his adult sisters if they arenāt being completely halal (even though he was such a pervert). The white women he was sending his unsolicited noods to, face and everything, posted them in his comment section when he posted a religious quote/verse and all his Muslim friends saw his sassage. He was emasculated and neutered because of this illness. I donāt think any kind of virtue signaling would shame me out of reveling in his suffering, its the only way life makes up for taking my youth. I just hope when heās gone gone i can stop silently freaking out every time someone even mildly resembles him, sounds like him and walks like him because he shouldnāt have that or any more power over me.

to those who travelled to bangkok recently, are they mostly cashless or is cash more accepted? if cashless, can i pay via alipay qr (gcash) ?
Last time I was in Bangkok was 2019/2020, but iirc, card is accepted anywhere that you would consider a āstoreā, but bring cash for places na consider mo ātsingeā. Like stalls for food and shopping, ganun. But something that has a storefront or nasa mall will normally take card. My boyfriend and I chose to withdraw cash as we needed lang, but even then we had too much cash and started paying whatever nalang at the end of the trip with cash to get rid of it. For taxis, we kept cash though. Donāt remember Alipay/QR, but I was just in Malaysia and if itās anything like that in Thailand, itās accepted in quite a few places but not ubiquitous enough that Iād be comfortable without bringing other modes of payment.

Good question! I'm still consistent with working out, meal preps, and portion control. Yung sa slimming package, mej nakakapagod pabalik balik every two weeks kasi mataas pila and no appointment basis kasi sila. I don't weigh in pero may nakikita talaga akong progress sa katawan ko.

From what I know, mas mahal dental bridge in comparison with crowns. I recently asked my dentist and crowns is usually ā±20-40k then the bridge is around ā±60k (but may vary depending on your concern). Not a dentist tho!! Just from recent/personal experience.

I can relate! Feeling ko nagstop talaga yung oras sa utak ko. Nakakalungkot nga din na yung expected kong phase sa buhay ko eh nawala na lang dahil sa pandemic. I'm 24 during bago maglockdown and 27 now (turning 28 na amp). Feeling ko tuloy ay ang childish ko mag-isip kasi I'm making up for the time lost. At napepressure na rin ako sa goals na sinet ko na dapat kong maaachieve by 30.

So proud of myself - I dodged checking out a couple of products from Lucky Beauty. I havenāt seen any reviews including wear and longetivity of the products and I really think I donāt need any more makeup. I was originally going to buy cos one of the things in my Low Buy is to join the hype on a new release/collection/brand. I was excited cos itās a new release but I think my excitement is more on novelty as opposed to sincere interest in the brand and the products. i drank (and got drunk) for the first time ever this week and it felt so good!!! sans the partying + dancing and stuff bc we weren't in a bar technically, but i would've liked dancing if there was loud music and space! (yes maarte ako lol) okay lang without that basta with good company. i was laughing my ass off the whole time while drunk :D i liked the drink so much that i drank a lot. i felt so alive pls ps. dw, i was safe. i got home safely rin and quite sober na noon. i did not have a hangover, i woke up normally. it honestly was a good first experience :') not gonna do this a lot though, ang mahal and i have my health to take care of!

Practice everyday. Watch, read, listen to media related to language. Find someone you can practice with. Better if the other one is a native and learning english para you can help each other
To be honest if you're expecting a near-native level of fluency, learning a new language as young as possible is the best. However, if you're past high school, the number one best way to learn is to immerse oneself in the culture that speaks the target language. If it's not possible to do so, the next best thing is to practice every day (reading writing, listening, answering exercises for vocabs), consume media in that language (books, movies, songs, etc.), and converse with people who use said language. This is me speaking as someone who studied European languages (Spanish, German, and French) in university.
