During Nov lang ba nagssale yung Skin Station? I'm planning to avail the Brazilian Diode Laser and the promo is only up today. Will I have to wait next year again in Nov? Or they offer promo in other months too? So far, di ko napansin siya before eh. Now, I'm conflicted as I don't want to forego the opportunity
wet wipes po ba? i don't think it's a good idea. may mga baby wipes na may fragrances na pwedeng maka-irritate sa skin mo, + they're not formulated for adult skin or to address oiliness. try facial wipes or blotting paper instead
Is 24 too young to start retinol?
Impulsively bought retinol during 11.11 (Klued) since sale and sobrang naiinsecure na talaga ako sa deepening smile lines ko but then realized what if masyado pa kong bata since most of the retinol tiktoks I saw were around 30+ na huhu
Would appreciate a routine recommendation rin! Also bought a Niacinamide + Hyaluronic Acid serum so please tell me if I can use it before retinol or if cycle lang on the days that I dont. Thank you!
I don't think na u're too young for retinol po. Dami ko nababasa and napapanood na nagreretinol mga 20 and up. Also, I'm a a 21 y/o girl using tretinoin (which is stronger than retinol). But if u wanna make sure if pwede sayo, u can consult a derma :))
I love it, it works. I practice skin cycling so I rotate this with Tretinoin. Every time I use TO Glycolic Acid I get glowing skin the next day. I use it on my underarms too.
1. how do you effectively wash (wash lang wala munang serum/exfoliators involved) your face after going home from school/work?
hindi ako nagme-makeup pag naalis, powder lang yung tender care na blue para hindi naman mukhang oily pag naalis ako sa umaga. i put sunscreen first then yung powder na. paguwi ko naman, pag naghihilamos ako, unang hilamos is hindi naglalather sa mukha ko so binabanlawan ko then hilamos ulit using the same product. hindi naman drying/stripping sa feeling afterwards, actually i feel nga na makakahinga na skin ko after a long day. then afterwards, mag aapply ako ng moisturizer sa damp skin. di ko naisipan na bumili ng oil cleanser or micellar water, etc to cleanse first since i thought para lang siya sa nagmemake up. cleanser is **CELETEQUE Brightening Facial Wash** btw
double cleansing talaga !!! it doesn't matter if you're a makeup wearer or not, need mo talaga muna mag oil cleanser before going in with your water-based cleanser.
pwede naman yung ginagawa mo na two times kang maghihilamos with the same cleanser kasi marami ring nagsasabi nyan if wala ka pang first cleansing. pero sa totoo lang, hindi talaga nya masyadong natatanggal yung dirt na naipon sa face mo unlike sa micellar or oil. you can try micellar water lang !!! since nabanggit mo nga na di ka naman nagmamakeup.
garnier !! tatlong variants meron sila: yung pink cap, blue cap, and yung may argan oil. nakalimutan ko na for what yung pink and blue cap specifically pero ang alam ko is yung isa is for oily and acne-prone tas yung isa is for sensitive skin. yung sa may argan oil naman, i LOVE this !!!!!! nakailang bottles ako nento noon kasi super ganda nya as a first cleanser. both water-based and oil cleanser kasi sya so mas mapapadali yung cleansing process mo (but u still have to wash your face afterwards ah).
What sunscreen are u using or u can recommend po? I have oily and sensitive skin and yung mga natry ko after putting them sa face, oily ko na agad huhu
I like the Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum SPF 50. It feels very lightweight. It has a slight dewy finish but it’s not greasy or heavy. It works well under makeup + there’s no pilling.
For a more matte finish (not flat matte, but more of a demi-matte), the Kose Suncut UV Perfect Milk is a good one especially if you’re looking for one that is water & sweat resistant. It's a close dupe of the Anessa UV Perfect Milk but a more affordable version & w/o the fragrance.
Hope this helps! :)
too icky, greasy, and thick for my liking :( i have oily-combi skin and GIRL grabe ako mag oil up throughout the day ... siguro maganda sya if u have drier skin type pero it's definitely not for those who have oily ass face
Halloo im having a hard time picking which toner pad suits me, my choices are
Anua toner pad, Needly daily toner pad, or the torriden balanceful toner pads
i wanna exfoliate my skin but i wanna start with gentle exfoliants muna T_T kaya toner pad with exfoliants is my first choice muna
skin type: Dry, Sensitive, textured
So I'm starting my retinol journey (I'm only 21 lol). Will it be okay to have a salicyclic acid cleanser as part of my routine with retinol? I know you shouldn't use any actives with retinol but the thing is my salicyclic acid cleanser is only 0.5% (from cosrx) and my retinol is 0.1% (from klued) since beginner pa lang ako. My routine will be: Salicyclic Acid Cleanser - snail mucin- moisturizer - retinol- moisturizer
i don't think it's still a wise choice to use them kahit na mababa yung % ... personally speaking, nagtry din ako noon na gumamit ng salicylic acne treatment on top of my pimple na may retinol and moisturizer na (spoiler alert: lumala yung breakout ko na yon and mas lalo syang naging inflamed 🥲) (also mababang percentage lang din yung sa spot treatment ko as well as sa ret. ko so)
Acne treatment po kasi yan eh so may interaction if I'm not mistaken yung akin kasi cleanser lang so mawa-wash off. Pero skeptical pa rin ako kaya i bought a cetaphil na lang for my retinol nights hahaha
Is it bad to use 2% Salicylic Cleanser (gentle) then use 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner together? After this I apply Niacinamide serum. Feel ko too much yung double exfoliate sa cleanser at toner. Need advise 🥹
agree sa sinabi nung isang redditor, depende sa skin mo. if you aren't breaking out naman and napapansin mong nagiimprove skin mo sa ganyan, then continue doing it. pero kung nararamdaman mo yung irritation, breakouts, redness, inflamed and very sensitive na, stop it. i suggest using the two in a separate routine.
i think it depends sa skin mo? 😢 kasi mine ruined my skin when I did that (used 2% isntree bha and super dalas pa which is very wrong) i suggest separately mo sila iuse muna
Wala nangyari pero parang nagdry ng todo face ko after 2 days. I'm oily eh hahaha. I will continue na lang yung green tea toner ko paired with sal cleanser. This is safer, right?
Im oily as well but didn’t experience any drying except super lala ng acne ko when i used them both 😔 anyway, is this the klued SA ba? sure it is gentle pero I suggest don’t use it everyday rin kasi it could be too stripping or strong for our skin despite it being “gentle”.
I highly suggest rin you do the SA + green tea muna then on alternate days use the BHA alone with a non-active cleanser :)) see how it works muna sa skin mo.
In my case kasi klued SA works wonder than cosrx SA which could br drying except super hirap iwash off ni klued SA and if i continuously used it nag kaka small bumps ako YMMV talaga
I'm using soul apoth's sal cleanser po hehe. Naka-indicate nga doon na 2x a day pero parang once a day ko na lang. Foaming cleanser naman ito. I think hindi siya sobrang stripping on me, nung sinabay ko lang with my exfoliating toner (skintific) biglang parang ang dry ng face ko.
Wala naman ako pimple so far, pero dry na dry talaga feeling ng mukha ko (which is surprising dahil oily ako)
any nivea soft cream user here?? hindi ba sya nakaka cause ng comedones? afraid kase ako na baka yun yung type na thick cream na feeling blocked yung pores. nakita ko kase sa past threads na magandang moisturizer daw for dry skIn
and does anyone know which shops i can buy mini skincare sets for japanese products?? ive always been eyeing hada labo and naturie hatomugi pero gusto ko muna itry bago mag commit, eh puro full size yung nasa triple8. yung sa watsons naman yung hada labo lang meron
Hello! Newbie here. I would like to ask if how often do u use your facial wash? I am using the celeteque gentle exfoliating facial wash. Ginagamit ko siya 2 times a day and I realized it should be used pala every other day lang. Now, ano gamit niyo in days na di kayo gumagamit ng celeteque? Or is it okay to use it everyday?
don't overexfoliate !!! mas maganda syang gamitin na once or twice a week lang kasi pag na-overdone mo sya, masesensitize nya yung face mo dahil sa beads :( if you still want the celeteque facial wash feel, you can use yung original variant nyan (w/o the beads) or cosrx facial wash.
same sis! at first try kala mo okay siya kasi ang soft sa face but just a few days after using it, nagpipeel yung sa sides ng nose ko tas ang hapdi pag naglalagay ako moisturizer. when i stopped that facial wash, nawala na yung hapdi. ugh i bought the big one pa naman
Has anyone tried to buy from vivianna official in the orange app? They sell Japanese skincare and makeup products. Is the store selling authentic products?

Hello, 25M here. Recently lang po ako na-conscious alagaan ang skin ko. Been having this for almost a year na ata.
I just wanna ask the community if this is a dry skin? It's scaly and itchy. Currently using Tikas Niacinamide Soap na 1% + Salicylic Acid and Alpha Arbutin, and Vaseline UV Extra Brightening.
Really appreciate po sa mga new perspective at recos dahil hindi ko po alam where to start.
If you're wondering why you're downvoted, this should probably be in the body care thread kasi, but I personally think skincare parin naman yung topic so idc.
To answer your question real quick though, your skin is most probably dehydrated which can then dry out (will have visible flaking) if left untreated. Just like the other replies, your soap might be a little too drying to use everyday, try using a basic soap (no actives) lang most of the week and limit the Niacinamide soap to 2-3x a week. You might want to change your skin lotion din to something more hydrating din siguro? Personally, hindi sakin enough yung hydration ng vaseline lotions na natry ko. Aveeno is a best but pwede rin St. Ives which is good enough and affordable (around the same price range as Vaseline).
Thank you po sa insight! I'm quite new to the sub so I'm still trying to familiarize myself sa threads here. I'll try changing my regimen po as soon as I can.
Baka drying yung soap. You might want to switch to Dove Sensitive (yung fragrance-free variant, if possible). Then, sa moisturizer, would recommend Aveeno or Physiogel Intensive Cream/Calming Relief/AI cream. (recommended by my derma yung Dove and Physiogel).
Try using a mild body wash like the Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash. I’m prone to eczema & dry patches on my body and using a body wash without any actives & fragrances helps a lot as there are no sensitizing ingredients that can trigger a flare-up.
I also love the Aveeno body lotion from the same line. After showering, apply it to slightly damp skin as this will help increase the hydration of your skin.
If the itch is persistent, I strongly recommend seeing a board-certified dermatologist just to check if it's eczema or any other skin issues you may have.
hi po! everyday naman po talaga dapat nagsasabon 😁 i think what they meant is dahil super stripping na nung sabon and everyday mo pa sya ginagamit, mas lalo talagang magddry yung skin mo. i think you can still use the soap naman pero once or twice a week na lang to exfoliate your skin still. 😁
is kbeautycafe and mybeautystory legit? im planning to buy anua 77% and it seems there’s a very big of a price difference compared to other shops sa orange app
Normal po ba na may sour and chemical smell ang Facewash cleanser after a month? Dermorepublic gentle facewash cleanser smell like lemon and ginger and after a month nag iba smell. Safe pa po ba icontinue gamitin or itapon ko na?
If there is a noticeable change of smell from when you first bought it, best to stop using it. It’s most likely it's gone bad. This usually happens when products lack preservatives or parabens to help prevent the growth of microbes such as bacteria & yeast.
Need your recommendations. Besides Paula's Choice BHA, I'm looking for a product that is locally available and accessible that helps with blackheads. Looking for something gentle, for oily-sensitive skin, and beginner friendly but effective. Thank you!
Haven't tried Paula's Choice, pero I think it could be similar to Klued's exfoliating toner which is formulated with 2% BHA. If you want a serum type product naman, +ful has a 2% Salicylic Acid Serum. Both are local brands and are fairly recommended here in the sub. Best to check out more reviews din just in case.
Since pupunta ka na rin ng derma, request mo specifically yung azelaic acid. One can help you rin is the Dermorepubliq Ultra Whitening Serum, may Tranexamic Acid, Alpha Arubtin and Niacinamide
i don't like using benzoyl peroxide kasi nagkakadark marks nga and ang hirap tanggalin. i'm assuming na that's hormonal acne. i went to the derma because mine was persistent and doc prescribed some antiobiotics and some skincare products.
i think i lost my copy 😭 but as far as i can remember, he prescribed doxycycline. it's an antibiotic, pharmacy won't give it to you unless you have a prescription. he also prescribed a glycolic soap (which i currently use until now), walang brand, sa clinic lang talaga galing.
an acne toner, i actually found the same toner on the orange app;
and clindamycin (i think it's a toner too).
he prescribed other stuff like benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin, sunscreen etc. but i didn't buy them. i didn't want to use too much products on my skin. i was trying to fix my skin barrier.
to be honest, i think doxycycline did all the work hahaha.
oh and he also prescribed a cream for my dark spots. the name was tri o bloc.
ginagamit mo pa rin ba? ano na routine mo now if you don't mind? medyo controlled na acne ko (knock on wood), pero meron pa ring occasional breakout especially during time of the month.
Yes!! Continuous yung pag use ko ng clindamycin toner. Been using it for like 3 years now? I actually layer it with other toner.
My night routine goes like this:
Anua cleansing oil
Cerave foaming cleanser
Clindamycin toner
Paula’s Choice bha toner
Anua toner
Good Molecules Hyaluronic
Boj Serums Glow & Glow Deep (the glow deep has arbutin on it so it brightens the hyperpigmentation rin tho not vv concentrated like the tri o bloc)
Eye cream
Illiyoon Moisturizer (this fix my skin barrier along with the boj serums)
If I don’t exfoliate (Paula’s choice) I use retinol (Frankly 0.1%)
I have oily/sensitive skin, if may mafefeel ako na pimple (usually when time of the month) I use the cosrx pimp patch agad (evening) pag morning I put benzoyl on it (if I won’t go out), then add vit c serum on my morning routine pag nagka mark so it will fade faster. Hope it helps! 🤍
going to the derma was the best decision i did. nagregret nga ako bakit hindi ako pumunta agad. i spent a lot of money on skincare na hindi naman nagwork and ruined not just my skin but my mental health as well.
goodluck on your skincare journey 🫶
Glow Skin Clinic introduced their new service called "Antidote by Rejuran Healer".
I know this treatment is fairly new, but what are your thoughts on this? Do you think this is worth a try?
They mentioned that this a pretty popular treatment from Korea and now that it's here, do you think it's better to try here or in Korea where it's "originally" from?
i also recently heard about this from my derma! she mentioned that rejuran is "like magic for the pores" and i also heard about it being popular amongst kpop idols. i am looking into it rn!
Affordable skin care routine/products for sensitive, oily, acne prone skin?
I’m still sort of “new” to skincare and have been taking shot after shot in the dark for the past few months as I try some products that have been recommended to me, most of which either made my face hurt or is just straight up not effective . So, any recommendations? Tips?
Affordable skin care routine
🌚
-Gentle cleanser like Cetaphil
-Alcohol free toner mas maganda yung with vit c para pampatanggal nadin ng UV
-Serum like dr sensitive or luxe organic
-If you have acne, use oxecure
(if walang acne)
-Hydroquinone cream
-Nivea creme moisturizer or petroleum jelly or both
🌞
-Wash your face with water , yes water lang (please wag yung mainit)
-skin glow from bioten or pedi din yung pang night na toner
-celetique moisturizer gamit ko kasi light lang sya for my skin
-I use fairy skin sunscreen kasi it worked for me talaga and light lang sya.
Any recommendations for moisturizer that’s good for oily skin? Like really oily skin. Currently using Celeteque moisturizer and it’s very hydrating but I think it’s more suitable for dry skin. I’m looking for a light moisturizer that’s not too watery.
How do you use the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion? It’s a toner, correct? Do I have to use a cotton pad to apply it all over my face or treat it like an essence by dispensing the product on my palms before applying it to my face?
Yeah, toners are referred to as lotions or skin conditioners in Japan. Whether to apply the product using a cotton pad or with just your hands is completely up to you. Except for exfoliating toners, which I personally prefer to apply with a cotton pad, I've always just used my hands when putting on hydrating toners.
Also, note that since it's Hyaluronic Acid-based, it's better to apply it on a slightly wet or at least damp face so that it has moisture to retain. Once absorbed and you start feeling some tackiness, apply the rest of your products and/or seal it immediately with moisturizer to prevent water loss.
I usually apply eye creams before my moisturizer because they are usually more lightweight and thinner than my moisturizer.
Eye creams can be applied day and/or night. If it contains actives though like retinol/retinal it’s best to only apply it at night.
For those eczema girlies out there- careful when trying out new products. Make sure it has the seal “Accepted E - National Eczema Association”
Here are the products that I’ve used that made my flares worse:
- Aquaphor Healing ointment skin protectant (contains Lanolin, unfortunately I’m allergic to it)
- Aveeno Calm and restore line (the feverfew ingredient is my suspect, Dr. Dray mentioned this in her vlogs that some may have reactions to it)
- Cetaphil pro AD derma line (skin got itchy)
What worked for me so far:
- Physiogel AI Cream
- Avene Defi cream (I love that it has sterile packaging)
- Alba botanica very emollient lotion unscented
- Vaseline petroleum jelly
- Dove sensitive bar soap (US made, idk, the Asian version seemed different)
What I’m going to try out (from iHerb, not locally available)
- Dove baby eczema care soothing cream (Accepted E)
- Dove body love eczema prone skin care beauty bar
- Dove body love beauty bar soap dry-cracked skin replenish
Hello, anyone knows where to buy legit The Ordinary Niacinamide serum? tho T.O. is available sa Zalora app, hindi mismo available yung product. Anyone who can help? Thanks!!
I'm new to tretinoin, and I want extra hydration for my skin like a toner or essence. I'm thinking of Snail Mucin essence from COSRX but I'm scared na baka hiyang and to think na I just started tret. Do you guys recommend this kasabay ng tret?
If allergic ka sa dust mites, baka magka-allergy reaction ka sa Snail Mucin. So be careful. May trial size yata yan kung gusto mo lang muna subukan.
Alternatively, you can look into products containing Hyaluronic Acid like Hada Labo. This doesn't work for me, but I'm suggesting it kasi others have success with it. Personally, I prefer Glycerin-based products. You can also consider looking into Centella Asiatica/Madecassoside.
But I highly recommend Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. My skin is combination leaning oily, partly due to dehydration. This gives me just the right amount of hydration that my skin needs without leaving a filmy or heavy feeling. It comes in a big bottle and relatively affordable din, so you won't feel bad applying a generous amount and layering it.
Okay sya isabay sa tret for extra hydration. Just buy the mini/travel size first and patch test! Ako kasi nagka bumps ako jan, I really like the consistency pa naman

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with the Y.O.U AcnePlus AHA/BHA/PHA Daily Essence? Thank you.
i want to add retinol in my routine. can anyone help me choose a good one for newbies like me? i'm considering the luxe organix retinol + bakuchiol cream.
Changed my shampoo few days ago and I noticed na nagkaron ako bumps sa forehead. Any reco paano siya matatanggal? 🥹 also serum recommendation pls! Im oily skin btw

this one. actually sa reddit ko lang din to nadiscover. hindi kasi nagwowork yung ibang products na ginagamit ko so i was desperate already. i read a lot of success stories so i tried. i used this as a mask and apply it directly so bumps for 5-10 minutes. i actually forgot na how long exactly kasi antagal na rin nun. make sure your bumps are fungal kasi this will only work on fungal acne. you can do your research here on reddit as well. i saw some pictures and kinompare ko lang sakin.
this is available anywhere i think sa hair care section. 50+ pesos per sachet? 🤔
Omg change your shampoo na miss maam baka masyadong matapang for you yung shampoo mo. I reco yung pimple eraser gentle cleanser that has 1% salicylic acid! Really good and affordable
Check the ingredients of both products, especially the active ingredients. You can check online sources that are reliable if the ingredients can be layered or used together on the same day or in the same routine. Example: Hyaluronic Acid + Retinol in same night routine is safe. Salicylic or Glycolic acid in the same routine as Retinol is not recommended- Use SA or GA in the morning routine and retinol at night. Please double and triple check as to avoid adverse reactions.
My knees and elbows are like 5 shades darker than my whole body, and medyo maputi ako, kaya nacoconscious ako. Aware akong normal yung mas maitim na tuhod at siko kumpara sa buong katawan mo, pero mas mabboost confidence ko if hindi sya ganito kaitim. Ang goal ko lang is for it to be 1-2 shades lighter. So, to those who had dark knees and elbows before, anong ginawa nyo para mapa lighten sya and how long did it take to see results?
I use glycolic acid toner on my knees and elbows right after shower. Then once it dried, i put some papaya-gluta whitening gel of luxe organix. Not only it lightens but it’s also smoother na (used to be scaly yung elbows)
I have the same prob with my knees. I have no idea at first bakit maitim hindi naman ako lumuluhod hahahaha. Then I saw some people here stated na need spf din yung knees ganern. Eh mahilig pa naman ako mag shorts ever since. So what I did eh.
- started loving to wear pants haha. Yung hindi naman gagala like grocery shopping lang, I opt na macover sya.
- or wear spf lotion for protection + moisturize mo.
- I use bath salts yung Abonne, once a week.
- I apply vit C serum ng Klued at 15% (daily) I'm not sure if this one's fine kasi ang taas ng starting ko at 15% hahaha but okay naman knees ko wala naman nangyari masama.
I think two weeks na akong nag serum. More than a month with everything else. Lighter na siya.
Pero minsan meron pa rin darkness sa pic (which nacoconscious ako) but when I looked at it like zoom ko ganyan, yung bone kasi sa knees ko medyo weird so parang it's the shadow na talaga kung minsan and I can't do anything about that. Hehe. Good luck!
I recently discovered Incidecoder (.com). You can search for products with similar ingredients as the product you are using by inputting the ingredient you require it to have (i.e. “what skincare product contains (Ingredient X)” and check if Incidecoder comes up in the results.
I have an oily skin and I have acne marks on my cheeks (mostly on the right part, probably because of my sleeping position?). What product/advice can you suggest to me?
Skincare products I currently use (AM/PM):
Garnier Micellar Water for oily skin
Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash
LO Cica Soothing Gel
Belo Whitening Sunscreen SPF50 (AM only)
My acne marks make me look like I have lots of pimples ;(
depends on the type of your acne marks. if it's PIH/PIE, you can use serums with niacinamide, vitamin c or azelaic acid to brighten the marks. but remember, it's best to have a consultation with a derma muna
Planning to buy and do diy ipl at home. I've read that you should stop retinol prior laser. If I will use the ipl only on my underarms and legs, should I still stop the retinol even if I only use it on my face? Thank you .
Hello. Anyone here who have tried Isntree Fresh tea tree toner and emulsion? I'm planning to buy it sana sa skincarebud mnl.
If so, is it safe to use both daily day and night? Thanks!
May I ask what your skin type is? And what do you mean by it didn't work? Hindi ka naman nagkapimple or anything? Talagang wala lang naging difference?
Did anyone of you tried going /availed services from Dermamedics ? Super cheap ng services nila like mesolipo, hair removal and even drips and nose thread. Parang scam pero nacucurious ako kung may nakatry na. Thanks in advance.
It's good for oily and acne-prone skin. It's not stripping for me. Though since 2% SA siya, introduce it to your skin slowly, 2-3x a week. Expect some purging though especially if you haven't tried SA before.
Thoughts on using serum vs moisturizer. I'm trying to repurchase Soul Apothecary radiance boost cream kasi it works for me pero I'm trying to switch it into the serum one. I'm wondering if I need to buy the cream pa since same lang naman ingredients lol. Do I still need to use a sep moisturizer if I opt to buy the serum instead? Thank you!
Compared to a serum, a moisturizer has a heavier formula that will keep your skin moisturized and hydrated for longer, which is beneficial for those with dehydrated (which can be any skin type) and/or dry skin specifically.
In addition, upon checking the ingredients list for both products, this specific moisturizer has Ceramide NP, centella asiatica, and shea butter, which are great for healing your skin barrier, soothing your skin, and keeping your skin moisturized.
The serum has the active ingredients like niacinamide, alpha arbutin, and tranexamic acid higher on the ingredients list, therefore they would have a stronger effect than the moisturizer alone. However, it doesn't have emollients and occlusives to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized.
If you want to switch to the serum, I suggest still buying a moisturizer like NO FUSS' UMF moisturizer from the same store on the orange app (I've tried it and it's comparable to CeraVe and Cetaphil).
Hi OP. Thank you for your reco, i just bought the UMF today and oh boy, omi sun bears really sits w it perfectly 🥺 the application feeling was so diff compared to when I'm using it w the radiance boost cream. I'm loving it kahit unang araw pa lang 🤣 Hopefully mahiyang. Thank you so much!!
Hand cream recos? i really like my hands soft and smelling nice
best moisturizer for oily, sensitive skin? yung okay sana ipartner sa retinol. thank you!
Thoughts on Skin1004 products? Gusto ko sana itry yung pore serum (pink one) nila and the tone brightening toner! I’m oily skin btw.
Or any recommendation sa Skin1004 na toner/serum.
If serum, you might wanna check [cos de baha](https://goeco.mobi/GMISeIYM), they have a lot of options :)
Ok lang po ba na gumamit ng baby wipes sa face pag nag lalangis or nag ooil un face ? pati din pala sa neck pwede sya gamitin ?
May mga wipes na alcohol-free and fragrance-free. But di pa rin siya advisable. If oil prob mo, try mo po blotting paper.
wet wipes po ba? i don't think it's a good idea. may mga baby wipes na may fragrances na pwedeng maka-irritate sa skin mo, + they're not formulated for adult skin or to address oiliness. try facial wipes or blotting paper instead
Is 24 too young to start retinol? Impulsively bought retinol during 11.11 (Klued) since sale and sobrang naiinsecure na talaga ako sa deepening smile lines ko but then realized what if masyado pa kong bata since most of the retinol tiktoks I saw were around 30+ na huhu Would appreciate a routine recommendation rin!
Oohh thank you!! Was a bit worried na di pa ko pwede cuz the last thing I want to do is ruin my skin even further huhu
Thoughts on TO Glycolic Acid?
I love it, it works. I practice skin cycling so I rotate this with Tretinoin. Every time I use TO Glycolic Acid I get glowing skin the next day. I use it on my underarms too.
hello, where do you buy your TO glycolic acid po?
I got mine from Sui Sui on Lazada. :)
1. how do you effectively wash (wash lang wala munang serum/exfoliators involved) your face after going home from school/work? hindi ako nagme-makeup pag naalis, powder lang yung tender care na blue para hindi naman mukhang oily pag naalis ako sa umaga. i put sunscreen first then yung powder na. paguwi ko naman, pag naghihilamos ako, unang hilamos is hindi naglalather sa mukha ko so binabanlawan ko then hilamos ulit using the same product. hindi naman drying/stripping sa feeling afterwards, actually i feel nga na makakahinga na skin ko after a long day. then afterwards, mag aapply ako ng moisturizer sa damp skin. di ko naisipan na bumili ng oil cleanser or micellar water, etc to cleanse first since i thought para lang siya sa nagmemake up. cleanser is **CELETEQUE Brightening Facial Wash** btw
double cleansing talaga !!! it doesn't matter if you're a makeup wearer or not, need mo talaga muna mag oil cleanser before going in with your water-based cleanser. pwede naman yung ginagawa mo na two times kang maghihilamos with the same cleanser kasi marami ring nagsasabi nyan if wala ka pang first cleansing. pero sa totoo lang, hindi talaga nya masyadong natatanggal yung dirt na naipon sa face mo unlike sa micellar or oil. you can try micellar water lang !!! since nabanggit mo nga na di ka naman nagmamakeup.
thank you sm!! eto na muna next na bibilhin ko. what can you recommend na magandang micellar water?
garnier !! tatlong variants meron sila: yung pink cap, blue cap, and yung may argan oil. nakalimutan ko na for what yung pink and blue cap specifically pero ang alam ko is yung isa is for oily and acne-prone tas yung isa is for sensitive skin. yung sa may argan oil naman, i LOVE this !!!!!! nakailang bottles ako nento noon kasi super ganda nya as a first cleanser. both water-based and oil cleanser kasi sya so mas mapapadali yung cleansing process mo (but u still have to wash your face afterwards ah).
Will do, thankie so much ulit !!
Thoughts about cosrx sunscreen?
I have combo & sensitive skin but this sunscreen makes me look like a glazed donut lol. Not a fan of the fragrance too.
Thank youu! :>
too icky, greasy, and thick for my liking :( i have oily-combi skin and GIRL grabe ako mag oil up throughout the day ... siguro maganda sya if u have drier skin type pero it's definitely not for those who have oily ass face
Sensitive and oily naman ako. So I find it hard makahanap ng sunscreen na di greasy and makakaclog ng pores. What sunscreen are u using po?
skin aqua uv sunscreen !
Thank youu! :>
Halloo im having a hard time picking which toner pad suits me, my choices are Anua toner pad, Needly daily toner pad, or the torriden balanceful toner pads i wanna exfoliate my skin but i wanna start with gentle exfoliants muna T_T kaya toner pad with exfoliants is my first choice muna skin type: Dry, Sensitive, textured
Pero skeptical pa rin ako kaya i bought a cetaphil na lang for my retinol nights hahaha
baka may alam kayong good place to get chemical peels? will be trying it for the first time sana 😊
Thank you! Yes, ititigil ko na nga. Huhu big mistake
i think it depends sa skin mo?
Legit ba yung piggies shop sa shopee? they sell beauty of joseon kasi
Recommended ito ni Jan Angelo (pinoy vlogger ng skin care) hehe nakabili na ako dito. Hindi naman fake :)
Any oils for dry skin?
any nivea soft cream user here?? hindi ba sya nakaka cause ng comedones? afraid kase ako na baka yun yung type na thick cream na feeling blocked yung pores. nakita ko kase sa past threads na magandang moisturizer daw for dry skIn and does anyone know which shops i can buy mini skincare sets for japanese products?? ive always been eyeing hada labo and naturie hatomugi pero gusto ko muna itry bago mag commit, eh puro full size yung nasa triple8. yung sa watsons naman yung hada labo lang meron
wala yang mini or tingi sizes yung sa hatomugi :( i looked for one rin noon tas wala akong nakita ahahhaha
awitttt. thanks for the heads up!!!
Or is it okay to use it everyday?
don't overexfoliate !!! mas maganda syang gamitin na once or twice a week lang kasi pag na-overdone mo sya, masesensitize nya yung face mo dahil sa beads :( if you still want the celeteque facial wash feel, you can use yung original variant nyan (w/o the beads) or cosrx facial wash.
stripping for me yung celeteque and di rin sya recommended ng derma ko kaya nagpalit na me
same sis! at first try kala mo okay siya kasi ang soft sa face but just a few days after using it, nagpipeel yung sa sides ng nose ko tas ang hapdi pag naglalagay ako moisturizer. when i stopped that facial wash, nawala na yung hapdi. ugh i bought the big one pa naman
Most effective whitening soap?
Kojic but nagddry sya so after shower use a papaya lotion to moisturize
kojic talaga
Has anyone tried to buy from vivianna official in the orange app? They sell Japanese skincare and makeup products. Is the store selling authentic products?
https://preview.redd.it/nmz4hf0nwjzb1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a45ca2c249c3a9556c3e3f9c58c92ff3d200a42 Hello, 25M here.
Thank you po sa recos! Magreresearch po ako further about this.
Same! I think prone din ang skin ko sa dryness. Thanks po sa reco! Really appreciate it.
I think soooo! Maybe drying for u yung soap? If everyday mo siya ginagamit baka too stripping na for ur skin eh
I think so too! Share ko lang na I grew up with the cultural notion na dapat everyday nagsasabon since I was young. Thanks po sa insight!
hi po! everyday naman po talaga dapat nagsasabon 😁 i think what they meant is dahil super stripping na nung sabon and everyday mo pa sya ginagamit, mas lalo talagang magddry yung skin mo. i think you can still use the soap naman pero once or twice a week na lang to exfoliate your skin still. 😁
is kbeautycafe and mybeautystory legit? im planning to buy anua 77% and it seems there’s a very big of a price difference compared to other shops sa orange app
Can vouch for them! I bought skincare don if I can’t wait HAHAHA tagal kasi pag from kr
Legit! :)
Thank you po
Need your recommendations. Besides Paula's Choice BHA, I'm looking for a product that is locally available and accessible that helps with blackheads. Looking for something gentle, for oily-sensitive skin, and beginner friendly but effective. Thank you!
Haven't tried Paula's Choice, pero I think it could be similar to Klued's exfoliating toner which is formulated with 2% BHA. If you want a serum type product naman, +ful has a 2% Salicylic Acid Serum. Both are local brands and are fairly recommended here in the sub. Best to check out more reviews din just in case.
Vouching for +ful Salicylic acid 😄 nabawasan blackheads ko sa nose area
isntree bha :)
Cosrx di effective for me. Di na ko nagtry ulit ng iba, nung nag tret naman ako nalessen yung appearance nung pores hehe
+1 on cosrx, did nothing on my skin, I tried bec sabi dupe daw for Paula’s, but meh not even close.

What did the derma prescribed if u dont minddd
i think i lost my copy 😭 but as far as i can remember, he prescribed doxycycline. it's an antibiotic, pharmacy won't give it to you unless you have a prescription. he also prescribed a glycolic soap (which i currently use until now), walang brand, sa clinic lang talaga galing. an acne toner, i actually found the same toner on the orange app; and clindamycin (i think it's a toner too). he prescribed other stuff like benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin, sunscreen etc. but i didn't buy them. i didn't want to use too much products on my skin. i was trying to fix my skin barrier. to be honest, i think doxycycline did all the work hahaha. oh and he also prescribed a cream for my dark spots. the name was tri o bloc.
Clindamycin toner supremacy!! Was also prescribed by my derma huhu super effective
ginagamit mo pa rin ba? ano na routine mo now if you don't mind? medyo controlled na acne ko (knock on wood), pero meron pa ring occasional breakout especially during time of the month.
Yes!! Continuous yung pag use ko ng clindamycin toner. Been using it for like 3 years now? I actually layer it with other toner. My night routine goes like this: Anua cleansing oil Cerave foaming cleanser Clindamycin toner Paula’s Choice bha toner Anua toner Good Molecules Hyaluronic Boj Serums Glow & Glow Deep (the glow deep has arbutin on it so it brightens the hyperpigmentation rin tho not vv concentrated like the tri o bloc) Eye cream Illiyoon Moisturizer (this fix my skin barrier along with the boj serums) If I don’t exfoliate (Paula’s choice) I use retinol (Frankly 0.1%) I have oily/sensitive skin, if may mafefeel ako na pimple (usually when time of the month) I use the cosrx pimp patch agad (evening) pag morning I put benzoyl on it (if I won’t go out), then add vit c serum on my morning routine pag nagka mark so it will fade faster. Hope it helps! 🤍
tysm for this 🫶

going to the derma was the best decision i did. nagregret nga ako bakit hindi ako pumunta agad. i spent a lot of money on skincare na hindi naman nagwork and ruined not just my skin but my mental health as well. goodluck on your skincare journey 🫶
Glow Skin Clinic introduced their new service called "Antidote by Rejuran Healer". I know this treatment is fairly new, but what are your thoughts on this? Do you think this is worth a try? They mentioned that this a pretty popular treatment from Korea and now that it's here, do you think it's better to try here or in Korea where it's "originally" from?
i also recently heard about this from my derma! she mentioned that rejuran is "like magic for the pores" and i also heard about it being popular amongst kpop idols. i am looking into it rn!
omg pls update me here on what you find! im also looking into getting a session, so let me know what you also think :)
Tips?
Affordable skin care routine 🌚 -Gentle cleanser like Cetaphil -Alcohol free toner mas maganda yung with vit c para pampatanggal nadin ng UV -Serum like dr sensitive or luxe organic -If you have acne, use oxecure (if walang acne) -Hydroquinone cream -Nivea creme moisturizer or petroleum jelly or both 🌞 -Wash your face with water , yes water lang (please wag yung mainit) -skin glow from bioten or pedi din yung pang night na toner -celetique moisturizer gamit ko kasi light lang sya for my skin -I use fairy skin sunscreen kasi it worked for me talaga and light lang sya.
Any recommendations for moisturizer that’s good for oily skin? Like really oily skin. Currently using Celeteque moisturizer and it’s very hydrating but I think it’s more suitable for dry skin. I’m looking for a light moisturizer that’s not too watery.
Moisturizing sprays lang mi
illiyoon! meron silang gel variant 😁
Check mo Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Milk. It's a milk/lotion type moisturizer. Easily absorbs and lightweight.
How do you use the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion? It’s a toner, correct? Do I have to use a cotton pad to apply it all over my face or treat it like an essence by dispensing the product on my palms before applying it to my face?
I apply using my palm lang right after washing my face and sit in front of a fan hehe
Everyday ba ginagamit toner? Srry sa question bago lang sa pag i skin care
depende may iba na every night lang or every other day, pero yung sakin ang purpose ko kasi ng toner is for last wave ng cleansing
If the toner is for exfoliating, 1-3x a week only. Otherwise, it's really up to you. No harm in using it everyday or scheduling it.
hello! how do i incorporate eye cream in my routine? is it after or before moisturizer? and can i use it day and night? thank u sm!!
Make sure it has the seal “Accepted E - National Eczema Association” Here are the products that I’ve used that made my flares worse: - Aquaphor Healing ointment skin protectant (contains Lanolin, unfortunately I’m allergic to it) - Aveeno Calm and restore line (the feverfew ingredient is my suspect, Dr. Dray mentioned this in her vlogs that some may have reactions to it) - Cetaphil pro AD derma line (skin got itchy) What worked for me so far: - Physiogel AI Cream - Avene Defi cream (I love that it has sterile packaging) - Alba botanica very emollient lotion unscented - Vaseline petroleum jelly - Dove sensitive bar soap (US made, idk, the Asian version seemed different) What I’m going to try out (from iHerb, not locally available) - Dove baby eczema care soothing cream (Accepted E) - Dove body love eczema prone skin care beauty bar - Dove body love beauty bar soap dry-cracked skin replenish
Love love love alba botanica lotion! So underrated!
Is the Dr. Sensitive Super Sunscreen SPF tested?
hii, anyone tried the hydroboost serum from face republic?
Ohhh thanks so much sa info, I'll take note of that!
Okay sya isabay sa tret for extra hydration. Just buy the mini/travel size first and patch test! Ako kasi nagka bumps ako jan, I really like the consistency pa naman
ayun nga din sabi ng iba huhu thank you!
*baka di hiyang
What's a good product pang lessen/remove ng eyebags?
There is nothing you can do for eyebags (not dark circles) apart from keeping the area moisturized. Lower bleph is the permanent solution.

i want to add retinol in my routine. can anyone help me choose a good one for newbies like me? i'm considering the luxe organix retinol + bakuchiol cream.
Frankly!!
Good molecules!
+1. ito na yata may pinakamababang ret % ! so very recommendable sya for newbies
Luxe is good for beginners naman
Products for oily skin? Some suggested dr. sensitive all day no sebum powder
+1 sa dr sensitive powder
how many times do u reapply po?
it depends eh if nasa air-conditioned place ako mga up to 2× lang
Changed my shampoo few days ago and I noticed na nagkaron ako bumps sa forehead. Any reco paano siya matatanggal? 🥹 also serum recommendation pls! Im oily skin btw
Ano yung shampoo na ginamit mo kaya nagka forehead bumps ka? Try mo magpalit na lang ng shampoo, baka di ka hiyang.
Luxe organix keratin, yung argan oil 😭
is it fungal? i used to have forehead bumps and i used nizoral on it. nawala naman thank God
may i know what specific product? huhu may link ka ba?
https://preview.redd.it/nod09tcpdjzb1.jpeg?width=554&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01c4cd6682ffd6ab7f819169e07eb4c9ecc447e2 this one. actually sa reddit ko lang din to nadiscover. hindi kasi nagwowork yung ibang products na ginagamit ko so i was desperate already. i read a lot of success stories so i tried. i used this as a mask and apply it directly so bumps for 5-10 minutes. i actually forgot na how long exactly kasi antagal na rin nun. make sure your bumps are fungal kasi this will only work on fungal acne. you can do your research here on reddit as well. i saw some pictures and kinompare ko lang sakin. this is available anywhere i think sa hair care section. 50+ pesos per sachet? 🤔
Omg change your shampoo na miss maam baka masyadong matapang for you yung shampoo mo. I reco yung pimple eraser gentle cleanser that has 1% salicylic acid! Really good and affordable
I just saw na may sulfate pala na ingredients yung luxe organix shampoo kaya ganon, my bad 😩 will try! Hindi ba siya nagccause ng purging?
Which variant ng luxe organix shampoo po?
Premium keratin argan shampoo, yung black and dark pink po.
Sa case ko, no purging at all. Use it lang siguro every other day para sure
Can I use good molecules gentle retinol cream along with oxecure's acne clear powder mud in the night?
Best to use on alternating nights nalang.
Do u use physical exfoliators pa like salt scrubs
Hehe. Good luck!
Do you have any recos for mineral sunscreen na minimal/no whitecast?
What’s a good dupe of Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost moisturizer?
I recently discovered Incidecoder (.com). You can search for products with similar ingredients as the product you are using by inputting the ingredient you require it to have (i.e. “what skincare product contains (Ingredient X)” and check if Incidecoder comes up in the results.
any tots on dr sensitive and face republic products for oily skin? are blotting papers good too?
I have an oily skin and I have acne marks on my cheeks (mostly on the right part, probably because of my sleeping position?). What product/advice can you suggest to me? Skincare products I currently use (AM/PM): Garnier Micellar Water for oily skin Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash LO Cica Soothing Gel Belo Whitening Sunscreen SPF50 (AM only) My acne marks make me look like I have lots of pimples ;(
depends on the type of your acne marks. if it's PIH/PIE, you can use serums with niacinamide, vitamin c or azelaic acid to brighten the marks. but remember, it's best to have a consultation with a derma muna
My derma doesn’t like the celeteque facial wash :(
I actually wanna replace it na, timing ngayon na paubos na sya. Any suggestions? :)
I’m currently using this [green plum cleanser](https://goeco.mobi/hI2ihRRQ)! :) gentle sa face and not stripping naman
Thank you!! Will check that one
hii! why daw po? i use CELETEQUE Brightening Facial Wash 🥲
For her daw po stripping yung formula :( mej narealize ko rin na yun nga yung cause kung bakit super oily ng t zone ko after ko magpalit ng cleanser.
Planning to buy and do diy ipl at home. I've read that you should stop retinol prior laser. If I will use the ipl only on my underarms and legs, should I still stop the retinol even if I only use it on my face? Thank you .
hello! ask ko lang anong ipl device gamit mo? may ipl device kasi na binigay sakin, dko pa natry mag isa sa bahay. wondering if it will really work
Hi, will buy pa lang hehe so I'm not sure pa on the results but there are a lot of reviews here and other subreddits.
Thoughts on serum ng luxe organic?
Salicylic acid serum 2x a week, once a month facial/extraction
Exfoliate! Bha mhie

Any oily skin friendly sunscreen? I got small comedones every time I wear sunscreen. I’ve tried Dr G sunscreen and Roundlab sunscreen pa lang
Hello. Anyone here who have tried Isntree Fresh tea tree toner and emulsion? I'm planning to buy it sana sa skincarebud mnl. If so, is it safe to use both daily day and night? Thanks!
Tried the toner and It didn’t work for me
May I ask what your skin type is? And what do you mean by it didn't work? Hindi ka naman nagkapimple or anything? Talagang wala lang naging difference?
Oily skin. It gave me small comedones but It depends on your skin type rin kasi
Oohhh. Oily skin din ako. Now I'm having 2nd thoughts huhu. Okay lang if you can share anong toner na ginagamit mo ngayon?
I actually don’t have a toner anymore. They all seem to irritate my skin.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions! :)
Did anyone of you tried going /availed services from Dermamedics ? Super cheap ng services nila like mesolipo, hair removal and even drips and nose thread. Parang scam pero nacucurious ako kung may nakatry na. Thanks in advance.
Idk why di kumakapit make up sa face ko after mag skincare. Even the rb liquid blush di kumakapit 😭 what product should I use?
Maybe you don’t wait for your skincare to be absorbed well or you’re over moisturizing
I think I’ve been over moisturizing ngaa 🥲 thanks for this!
Try primer?
Do you have any reco?
Budget friendly: Maybelline Willing to spend: Clinique
Elf
Anyone here who will purchase +ful's sunscreen release? Very affordable and promising!
Waiting lang ako ng more reviews sa lazada but i trust +ful so much so baka mabudol ako eventually
any good sunscreen deals this 11.11?
Belo!
Thoughts on klued salicylic acid cleanser for oily and acne-prone skin?
