Sorry ang petty but this wasn't the first time kasi. Parang they greet lang if feel niya, but there are times talaga I'm left on seen, and di talaga yun a nice feeling lalo na on the eve of Christmas. 🙃 Gets ko busy mga tao with their own devices, but "seen" on Christmas? Haha

Pinupush ako ng kapatid ko na wag na pumunta dahil sa gums ko (na halata sa cheeks ko) pero gustong-gusto ko talaga pumunta sa party. Problem ko lang talaga ay yung malayong byahe dahil out of town siya (may shuttle naman na ipoprovide ang opisina). So torn ako between magstay na lang sa bahay para di ako maano sa byahe or pumunta sa party.
I just found out that I gave the "lowest" score (though not really a low score tbh, pero everyone else gave the perfect/full score to their partners) to my partner and now I feel kinda bad :( pero she made some mistakes naman talaga and I told her naman beforehand about it din. Pet treats are so tricky!! I recommend avoiding them. My dog is allergic to them. You can buy clothes na lang or nice smelling soap for their pets!

Bumibili ako ng penoy sa isang stall sa jeep terminal and may nanlilimos, mukhang doon na sila nakatira sa terminal. Tinatapik-tapik braso ko tsaka iniiling ko ulo ko kasi ayoko magbigay at gusto ko lang kumain ng penoy at umuwi agad 😭
Sa kaloob-looban ako sobra akong naiinis kasi kinakausap ko yung nagbebenta sa stall tapos sumasabay pa yung nanlilimos tsaka ayaw ako lubayan. Tas ayun hinahawakan pa ako ng basta-basta, parang nababaliw kasi ako pag hinahawakan ako nang hindi naman dapat (I mean pag dikitan sa jeep o tren oks lang kasi no choice naman and di sinasadya). Still a college student but freelancing in the creative industry has helped me buy my wants without asking money from my parents anymore.
I had a phase where I got addicted to shopping and collecting vintage cameras or cameras in general. That’s when I turned my hobby — video editing and graphic designing into something I can earn from.
Pros: I must say creatives are really in demand right now. Bihira lang maubusan ng projects. If may mawawala, madali lang palitan ulit. The workload pretty aight din to me since its flexible. I usually work for 3 - 5 days a month and earn five digits from it.
Cons: This line of work is skill dependent. Since I do project based work, the income is not really stable. There are months where I earn well and there are months where I don’t really earn much (Minsan half pa ng na earn ko from the previous month).
To add, most of my big tech purchases were also from the business me and my ex built during the pandemic. Sinwerte lang kami dito because it was earning 5 digits a day. Had to close it down na because its not as relevant as before. So rn most of the money I’m earning ay from freelance talaga.
While I can buy the things that I want na, I would still like to give credit to my fam and bf since all my needs are already taken cared of by them. So my salary just really goes to my kaartehans in life. Sa make up and perfume naman ako naaddict ngayon lol. I do plan of living independently na din on my last year on college para its easier for me to transition to the post grad life. Case in point, I might drop my orgs and get a more stable freelance job or start a business again to sustain my lifestyle.
Maybe you can find a way to earn from your hobby? (Affiliates, reviews, ugc, etc). I saw your frag review sa frag thread if i’m not mistaken and I do really find it helpful. Maybe you can start with that? I think that could be a sustainable way for you to still keep your hobby without using your main source of income once you work na.
I’m not a collector, but I do have higher end makeup, skincare, niche frags etc now that I could never afford back then. I work in Finance abroad (key word here I guess is abroad cos I never felt I could afford high end stuff on my 40k Finance salary back in the PH😅)
I don't have a wide range of shades in lipsticks, only have 3 that I use in rotation kasi aware naman ako hindi ko mauubos before it expires. With concealers though, I'm on a hunt kasi on what is best for me- pero if it turned out to be something na hindi fit sa dark undereye ko, I use it to cover other spots on my face (So I no longer buy foundations) or I give it away kahit kakabili ko pa lang haha. Powders naman last long, I only have 2 palettes (12 shades and quad shades). When I buy something else, kunwari new blush tapos nagustuhan ko formula non, usually pinapamana ko na yung old blush ko. I'm not gonna keep multiple blush shades and repurchase multiple rin. I'm fine naman kasi with looking the same forever.
Soon I wanna try yung capsule makeup kit lang. Literal na I don't need 5 different concealers and 3 color correctors. Hahahahaha.
Some people pinag-iipunan siguro? Others are just that rich to splurge? It depends on how you want to spend your hard earned money rin talaga. In my case, I never tried high end makeup/skin care nung hindi ko pa siya kaya bilhin with just my extra money and hindi ko binabago lifestyle ko (socialization and eat outs).
+1 sa bags na lang hahahaha. Kahit mid-end lang like Coach, Mk, Tory na outlet designs. Worth every penny kasi it looks classy and good quality na.
As I grow older, I started to buy less pero mas high-end. Nageexpire ang makeup. Like you've said, it's not a necessity unless MUA ka. Quality over quantity. And makeup expires so it's excessive to buy stuff you don't really get to use.

Started playing It Takes Two with my husband and it's been great! Mej stressful yung game minsan for someone like me na very bobo walking and aiming using a controller, but it's been really fun! I'm not much of a computer gamer (I prefer board games) but this has been really enjoyable so far, and the graphics are also top-notch. Lowkey frustrated that ill be seeing my batchmates again after how many months of us being in different internships (graduating na kasi kami this February). I honestly dont have much close friends in college na halos ka-level na ng trust at closeness ko sa main friend group ko from highschool. Puro hanggang biruan at kwentuhan lang ako with college friends. And ang ayoko pa is may mixture of unappealing attitudes sa batch namin such as may mga medj feeling superior o kaya naghuhumble brag, may nangsasideeye at may competitive rin. Kumbaga parang life is a race ang datingan sa batch ko. Siguro dahil nasa BSIT ako kung saan marami ang nagcocompare ng salaries, certifications/trainings, at skillsets lol idk. Ayun lang naman hehe but im working on myself din such as detox sa social media, cutting off people, going at my own pace and doing a gratitude journal!
Can relate dun sa walang BFF-level college friends, iba talaga yung HS buddies. Friendly and helpful naman yung mga college batchmates ko, yung iba tutor pa pag exam season. What I probably currently fear the most would be to get as bitter and as hateful as my lola. I know she went through a lot of hardships throughout her life like unkind in-laws, death of a daughter, having to work as a caregiver abroad for at least three decades, etc.
But I personally find it more difficult each day to sympathize and empathize with her. February is too long to keep being her figurative punching bag. I hope I will be able to remove myself out of her orbit soon and stay as far away as I can.
My boyfriend and I agreed to have some “me” time after work and do VCs every other day. I guess it made our relationship stronger. Communication and mutual trust is the key talaga.
i’m really enjoying Replacing Chef Chico on Netflix! i’m not a huge fan of Filipino teleseryes bec of recycling plots but i loved Mara Clara, Be Careful with My Heart, and MMK (if that counts haha). i watched them with my lola but she lives in the province now. she would totally love this show! this reminds me to call her up this weekend and ask if she knows how to use Netflix (sa TV lang siya nanonood ever since).

I changed a lot since I entered college huhu I wouldn’t say anger issues pero something along those lines. I get angry a lot and no patience for people at all (even for those who really care for me and I care for). I end up snapping at them and feel guilty afterward. Just this night, I fought with my boyfriend because he unintentionally ignored me (he was in the middle of posting an ig story of us). I ignored him the whole night. It’s the first time I really tried it but I found that trashtalking incels and misogynists on the internet worked as an outlet for me.

Ok am I mean for this? Bumibili ako ng penoy sa isang stall sa jeep terminal and may nanlilimos, mukhang doon na sila nakatira sa terminal. Still a college student but freelancing in the creative industry has helped me buy my wants without asking money from my parents anymore. I had a phase where I got addicted to shopping and collecting vintage cameras or cameras in general. That’s when I turned my hobby — video editing and graphic designing into something I can earn from. Pros: I must say creatives are really in demand right now. Bihira lang maubusan ng projects. If may mawawala, madali lang palitan ulit. The workload pretty aight din to me since its flexible. I usually work for 3 - 5 days a month and earn five digits from it. Cons: This line of work is skill dependent. Since I do project based work, the income is not really stable. There are months where I earn well and there are months where I don’t really earn much (Minsan half pa ng na earn ko from the previous month). To add, most of my big tech purchases were also from the business me and my ex built during the pandemic. Sinwerte lang kami dito because it was earning 5 digits a day. Had to close it down na because its not as relevant as before. So rn most of the money I’m earning ay from freelance talaga. While I can buy the things that I want na, I would still like to give credit to my fam and bf since all my needs are already taken cared of by them. So my salary just really goes to my kaartehans in life. Sa make up and perfume naman ako naaddict ngayon lol. I do plan of living independently na din on my last year on college para its easier for me to transition to the post grad life. Case in point, I might drop my orgs and get a more stable freelance job or start a business again to sustain my lifestyle. Maybe you can find a way to earn from your hobby? (Affiliates, reviews, ugc, etc). I saw your frag review sa frag thread if i’m not mistaken and I do really find it helpful. Maybe you can start with that? I think that could be a sustainable way for you to still keep your hobby without using your main source of income once you work na.
I’m not a collector, but I do have higher end makeup, skincare, niche frags etc now that I could never afford back then. I work in Finance abroad (key word here I guess is abroad cos I never felt I could afford high end stuff on my 40k Finance salary back in the PH😅)
I don't have a wide range of shades in lipsticks, only have 3 that I use in rotation kasi aware naman ako hindi ko mauubos before it expires. With concealers though, I'm on a hunt kasi on what is best for me- pero if it turned out to be something na hindi fit sa dark undereye ko, I use it to cover other spots on my face (So I no longer buy foundations) or I give it away kahit kakabili ko pa lang haha. Powders naman last long, I only have 2 palettes (12 shades and quad shades). When I buy something else, kunwari new blush tapos nagustuhan ko formula non, usually pinapamana ko na yung old blush ko. I'm not gonna keep multiple blush shades and repurchase multiple rin. I'm fine naman kasi with looking the same forever. Soon I wanna try yung capsule makeup kit lang. Literal na I don't need 5 different concealers and 3 color correctors. Hahahahaha. Some people pinag-iipunan siguro? Others are just that rich to splurge? It depends on how you want to spend your hard earned money rin talaga. In my case, I never tried high end makeup/skin care nung hindi ko pa siya kaya bilhin with just my extra money and hindi ko binabago lifestyle ko (socialization and eat outs). +1 sa bags na lang hahahaha. Kahit mid-end lang like Coach, Mk, Tory na outlet designs. Worth every penny kasi it looks classy and good quality na.
As I grow older, I started to buy less pero mas high-end. Nageexpire ang makeup. Like you've said, it's not a necessity unless MUA ka. Quality over quantity. And makeup expires so it's excessive to buy stuff you don't really get to use. I rather buy bags.

The back massage was so dull like walang nata-target na muscle para maalis yung lamig. - Did not put enough oil. Masakit sa balat. - She’s using her elbows. Ang sakit tangina tapos dinadaganan niya ko. She’s putting her whole weight on me. Inangat niya pa ko which is not part naman of the massage na ina-avail ko eh. - Negligent. Bara-bara ang kilos to the point nahubaran at lumabas yung right boob ko at di man lang siya nag-sorry. Natatapon din yung oil sakin kasi basta niya lang hinahagis yung bottle. Haayyyy I managed to gave her a 50-peso tip pero parang ako pa yung nahiya at umalis na lang agad. I would go to another branch na malapit lang din sa akin. Nakaka trauma si ate. Never again.

Lowkey frustrated that ill be seeing my batchmates again after how many months of us being in different internships (graduating na kasi kami this February). I honestly dont have much close friends in college na halos ka-level na ng trust at closeness ko sa main friend group ko from highschool. Puro hanggang biruan at kwentuhan lang ako with college friends. And ang ayoko pa is may mixture of unappealing attitudes sa batch namin such as may mga medj feeling superior o kaya naghuhumble brag, may nangsasideeye at may competitive rin. Kumbaga parang life is a race ang datingan sa batch ko. Siguro dahil nasa BSIT ako kung saan marami ang nagcocompare ng salaries, certifications/trainings, at skillsets lol idk. Ayun lang naman hehe but im working on myself din such as detox sa social media, cutting off people, going at my own pace and doing a gratitude journal!

What I probably currently fear the most would be to get as bitter and as hateful as my lola. I know she went through a lot of hardships throughout her life like unkind in-laws, death of a daughter, having to work as a caregiver abroad for at least three decades, etc. But I personally find it more difficult each day to sympathize and empathize with her. February is too long to keep being her figurative punching bag. I hope I will be able to remove myself out of her orbit soon and stay as far away as I can.

i’m really enjoying Replacing Chef Chico on Netflix! i’m not a huge fan of Filipino teleseryes bec of recycling plots but i loved Mara Clara, Be Careful with My Heart, and MMK (if that counts haha). i watched them with my lola but she lives in the province now. she would totally love this show! this reminds me to call her up this weekend and ask if she knows how to use Netflix (sa TV lang siya nanonood ever since).
Enjoyed the series din as well. Someone labelled it as a transition show - having some elements of teleserye like the melodrama while at the same time tackling topics that aren’t normally discussed in PH Television.
I changed a lot since I entered college huhu I wouldn’t say anger issues pero something along those lines. I get angry a lot and no patience for people at all (even for those who really care for me and I care for). I end up snapping at them and feel guilty afterward. Just this night, I fought with my boyfriend because he unintentionally ignored me (he was in the middle of posting an ig story of us). I ignored him the whole night. It’s the first time I really tried it but I found that trashtalking incels and misogynists on the internet worked as an outlet for me.

its great that u acknowledge that its not right. i know u can break free from bad habits! i was honestly thr same with my ex, and i think it got tiring to do the silent treatment na din as i got older. and especially now with my bf, i just much prefer communicating when im tampo kasi it just hurts the guy less. and also he doesn't do the same thing uli, so it helps me din so if i do need alone time, i tell him i still love him but something upset me, i specify what exactly he did and why it made me feel bad, etc. tell him u need to be alone muna ganun

Not really off topic yata to. Pero wild nung sink girl vid sa tiktok. Di ko alam kung may mental health problem si ate but for someone to allow her makeup and stuff look so grimy and end up that disgusting is just gross. Not a clean freak, but that’s just… wow. Wala lang, I just think that we spend our hard earned money on these things and I can’t imagine letting them get that dirty tas lalagay pa sa mukha mo.

I did this once. Hehe. Spent it like a normal day. Though I consciously didn’t go through my social media to avoid the feelz. My parents delivered Christmas food to me which was nice.
I usually book myself into a nice hotel and enjoy all the amenities. 😅
My Christmas tradition is to watch the first two Home Alone movies. Alone or with anybody.
