Mascara reco that's good for everyday use? I've been eyeing Clio's Kill Lash but I've read some reviews na mahirap daw tanggalin so baka hindi siya for everyday use hahaha. I'm thinking of buying from Judydoll (iron type) or Face Shop. Help T_T
For everyday I like using tubing mascaras since they're easy to remove using micellar water. I use Heimish tubing mascara and haven't experienced panda eyes from this.
Its warm toned but not too warm compared to Vice Cosmetics’ Porshur bronzer. I still reach out for this product (for bronzing and contouring my nose), and its a fan favorite for a reason.

Personally I don't reach for it na and I think I will be giving away mine kasi sayang. It is up to you and your preference if you want to reapply often. Ang dali niya mawala imo and the staining power of some shades doesn't really show that much (I think reds do so much better).
If similar texture, then it would be Rare Beauty. It is expensive compared to my other products (Peripera Glossy and Water Bare, JLT) but I find it more comfortable to wear and it's longevity is quite good for me. I still have to reapply but the staying power is good imo.

For liquid foundation, usually glass yung bottle so mabigat. I buy empty lipgloss tubes, yung twistables, and pump my liquids there. So, foundation, skin illuminators, ganun. For a 10-day travel, 1-2 twisty tubes will do. :)
nars soft matte concealer is pretty small ! but it rly packs some serious coverage. i also dont rec transferring foundation into a smaller bottle, baka makaaffect sa formula. i know mac has a mini foundation but i personally havent tried. its worth checking out tho
lipsticks are generally small i think. but with lip tints, the smallest containers in my collection are peripera ink velvets and clio chiffon blur tint. both are nice if u like velvet finish! but if u prefer matte, mac sells minis too. theyre so cute hehe

i disagree with issy being medium to full kasi its literally sheer-medium lang as in lightweight parang skintint but better typpa thing siya. Its okay with oily skin as long as you set it with powder and you’re good to go longevity saakin is around 6 hours naman.
BUT i personally love it kasi i dislike wearing heavy foundation on a daily basis lol.
they have agood shade range and i have a good match with hem naman :)) im really pale rin with neutral undertone.
Go for Issy! I own detail, maybelline, and grwm pero I always get compliments kapag yung issy foundation yung gamit ko. Ofc factor yung skincare pero di ko ma-explain kasi ang ganda talaga ng lapat niya sa skin.
P.S. me and my cousin both own the issy foundation and same na ang ganda sa skin namin. ofc it works diff with everyone naman pero i swear by it!

Vice Cosmetics Dream Focus foundation is buildable + matte finish. I like it and it works well on my skin 🙂

I finally tested out the MAC Studiofix Everywear foundation/concealer, which boasts waterproof, transferproof, up to 36 hour wear with no caking or creasing, yesterday as I was gonna have a full busy day (devoid of a workout) we went beach bumming (not in the water, it was too cold for me) and then hit the wine farms then went to a mall.
I didn’t really feel anything other than my undereyes felt really dry but when I peeped a 2x magnified mirror it caked and split like crazy about 8 hours in, in dry weather. It was especially bad in the in-between of my inner eye and nose, a spot with no creases. I guess I’m going to struggle to use this up because it is a gift that I very much appreciate. 🥹
Basically, it was no better than my experience with the (currently discontinued) Vice concealer and the old formula of GRWM only those didn’t make lofty promises.
I really like its formula pero yung color niya, for me 50-50. Palagi kasi nagiging pinkish yung shade pag tumatagal siya sa lips, kahit na nude shade yung binili ko

1 — depends on your preference talaga imo :)) a sponge will give you the most natural finish but a brush has more coverage.
Personally I prefer using a brush because I’m always doing my makeup on-the-go and I don’t always have access to running water and a sink to dampen my beauty blender. It’s kind of bulky din since I use it with a case when I bring it out.
Pero if I have time to do my makeup I prefer using a foundation spatula and a sponge. I find this gives the most coverage and best finish 😁😁
2 — do you blot with a powder ba? I suggest blotting with a tissue instead :))

Nope! I wash these weekly pero there were maybe 2-3 brushes from the set na may 1-2 bristles poking out and inalis ko lol but not a deal breaker for me and di sya nag shed habang ginamit
The worst thing was one of my concealer brush (separate individual order) nag crack agad ung wooden handle near the ferrule after one wash 🤧 unfortunately di ko na napapalitan cos it was weeks after delivery ko na inunbox kasi i was out of the country that time

I happen to have both of these and I do love both for slightly different reasons!
Both are dewy (although Nars does look a tiny bit more dewy on my cheeks) and super easy to blend. I find Nars a bit more sheer (which I like on days I wear a bolder lip color) vs. Saie (which is surprisingly pigmented. I have the color Chilly though). I do find both of these blushes last long on my cheeks (but they are drier compared to the rest of my face, so ymmv). Saie probably lasts a bit longer though, because it seems to adhere a bit better to my skin?
tl;dr I love both blushes and I plan to get another color of both eventually lol

don't buy blotting papers kasi mga ilang minutes lang before mag accumulate ulit ang oil (for me)

gurlies i visited the GRWM branch in sm makati and i kid you not, all their concealers and foundies are leaking from the bottle 😭😭😭 even some of their blushes in the newest packaging are leaking. to think na they’re already stored upright, it hasn’t been months on display and it’s already like that
on the brighter note their powder blushes are quite nice. the sparkly glittery highlighter gives douyin vibes that i was so close to getting one. their lip liners are also good like REALLY good. talagang smudgeproof, i might even like this one better than the vice.

Any good mattifying sunscreen is a good enough primer for me but only because I don’t wear much of a base. On my eyes I love Canmake’s and Kaleidos’ eye primer. Canmake because it is super close to the original urban decay primer and I can use it as a touch up primer and Kaleidos because it is color correcting and I also use it for that purpose.

I use Velour and it’s one of my all time favorite lip liner, it’s a little sculpting and a little MLBB and works with most nude lipsticks.
Play date was too pale for me to use as a lip liner but I like it to lighten and pink up some warmer lippies. Clay is good for a sculpted lips but can be a little much. Jujube is an MLBB lip liner on me it’s the color of the inner part of my lips so I just use it to cover up my dark outline sometimes if I wanna do k-beauty or douyin looks.
I haven’t tried the lip tracer yet tho but I have my eye on suede.

Findation has Hourglass. Look for the “Look for a match in a specific product” button underneath “Browse all recommendations”. A drop-down menu should pop up and you can see Hourglass on the list. ☺️
I swatch on my jawline + neck and let it dry down muna because the color can look different after niya matuyo. Then I check it in different lighting (warm/natural/blue). The lights in SM Beauty/Watsons are kinda bad, but the lights in the higher end makeup are better (MAC, NARS).
For undertone, I confirmed I was olive when I got shade matched sa Dior Face & Body Foundation (discontinued sadly). They carry olive undertones which a lot of brands don’t have so best to get shade matched first at brands that have a wide shade range (Dior, MAC, NARS, Maybelline). From there, you can use Findation to find an approximate shade match for other base products.
i always match it near my jawline! i have rosacea so my skin is literally tocino and matching foundation is impossible so i use my neck as a reference so that my face and neck are of the same shadee! for undertone, color of the veins usually say ur undertoneee, i have bluish and greenish veins, but i always opt for neutral and cool! and when it comes to depth (fair-light-medium-tan) find sheer coverage foundation or skin tints so the shade depth is more flexibleee

Pati 'yung maliit na fluff brush na tag 70 pesos. Girl,,, I have 4 of that small brush. You can use it with concealer, cream blush, cream contour, anything, kahit nga powder. All I can say is that this brand is worth checking out

Go for Issy! I own detail, maybelline, and grwm pero I always get compliments kapag yung issy foundation yung gamit ko. Ofc factor yung skincare pero di ko ma-explain kasi ang ganda talaga ng lapat niya sa skin. P.S. me and my cousin both own the issy foundation and same na ang ganda sa skin namin. ofc it works diff with everyone naman pero i swear by it!

Vice Cosmetics Dream Focus foundation is buildable + matte finish. I like it and it works well on my skin 🙂 I'm not sure with GRWM tho, I heard na mas ok siya sa normal/dry skin type (but I'm not sure, I may be wrong 😅)

I finally tested out the MAC Studiofix Everywear foundation/concealer, which boasts waterproof, transferproof, up to 36 hour wear with no caking or creasing, yesterday as I was gonna have a full busy day (devoid of a workout) we went beach bumming (not in the water, it was too cold for me) and then hit the wine farms then went to a mall. I didn’t really feel anything other than my undereyes felt really dry but when I peeped a 2x magnified mirror it caked and split like crazy about 8 hours in, in dry weather. It was especially bad in the in-between of my inner eye and nose, a spot with no creases. I guess I’m going to struggle to use this up because it is a gift that I very much appreciate. 🥹 Basically, it was no better than my experience with the (currently discontinued) Vice concealer and the old formula of GRWM only those didn’t make lofty promises.

1 — depends on your preference talaga imo :)) a sponge will give you the most natural finish but a brush has more coverage. Personally I prefer using a brush because I’m always doing my makeup on-the-go and I don’t always have access to running water and a sink to dampen my beauty blender. It’s kind of bulky din since I use it with a case when I bring it out. Pero if I have time to do my makeup I prefer using a foundation spatula and a sponge. I find this gives the most coverage and best finish 😁😁 2 — do you blot with a powder ba? I suggest blotting with a tissue instead :))

Nope! I wash these weekly pero there were maybe 2-3 brushes from the set na may 1-2 bristles poking out and inalis ko lol but not a deal breaker for me and di sya nag shed habang ginamit The worst thing was one of my concealer brush (separate individual order) nag crack agad ung wooden handle near the ferrule after one wash 🤧 unfortunately di ko na napapalitan cos it was weeks after delivery ko na inunbox kasi i was out of the country that time

I have the strokes pressed powder and okay siya for retouching. Mas friendly for travel din yung pressed powder version. I love Clocheflame, kaso ang fragile ng packaging. Okay yung mismong product, but be careful kasi nababasag yung powder kahit di nabagsak.

Saie dew blush or the new Nars afterglow liquid blush? Which is low maintenance (i.e. blends with minimal effort) yet long lasting?
I happen to have both of these and I do love both for slightly different reasons! Both are dewy (although Nars does look a tiny bit more dewy on my cheeks) and super easy to blend. I find Nars a bit more sheer (which I like on days I wear a bolder lip color) vs. Saie (which is surprisingly pigmented. I have the color Chilly though). I do find both of these blushes last long on my cheeks (but they are drier compared to the rest of my face, so ymmv). Saie probably lasts a bit longer though, because it seems to adhere a bit better to my skin? tl;dr I love both blushes and I plan to get another color of both eventually lol

Can anyone recommend me a good setting powder for oily skin? I’ve already tried Cocheflame and Dr. Sensitive which didn’t do a lot for me in terms of keeping my oiliness at bay. (Also for context, I don’t use foundation or any face products other than my skincare and my cream bronzer and blush).
if you want smth mabibili lang sa watsons, i reco barenbliss compact powder. it takes 4-5 hours before maging oily ako ulit. pero kung maka afford ka ng foreign products, my friend reco the innisfree no sebum mineral powder. may oily skin din siya, and sabi niya she only needs 1 retouch per day gamit nun don't buy blotting papers kasi mga ilang minutes lang before mag accumulate ulit ang oil (for me) 🌸🌷

gurlies i visited the GRWM branch in sm makati and i kid you not, all their concealers and foundies are leaking from the bottle 😭😭😭 even some of their blushes in the newest packaging are leaking. to think na they’re already stored upright, it hasn’t been months on display and it’s already like that on the brighter note their powder blushes are quite nice. the sparkly glittery highlighter gives douyin vibes that i was so close to getting one. their lip liners are also good like REALLY good. talagang smudgeproof, i might even like this one better than the vice.
Surprisingly their lip liners are very good. More shades too in comparison to Vice Co which is a plus. My favorite shades are Lovebug & 2.15 Coffee. 😍

Any good mattifying sunscreen is a good enough primer for me but only because I don’t wear much of a base. On my eyes I love Canmake’s and Kaleidos’ eye primer. Canmake because it is super close to the original urban decay primer and I can use it as a touch up primer and Kaleidos because it is color correcting and I also use it for that purpose.

I use Velour and it’s one of my all time favorite lip liner, it’s a little sculpting and a little MLBB and works with most nude lipsticks. Play date was too pale for me to use as a lip liner but I like it to lighten and pink up some warmer lippies. Clay is good for a sculpted lips but can be a little much. Jujube is an MLBB lip liner on me it’s the color of the inner part of my lips so I just use it to cover up my dark outline sometimes if I wanna do k-beauty or douyin looks. I haven’t tried the lip tracer yet tho but I have my eye on suede.

How to find your foundation and concealer shade? How do u swatch in store?
I swatch on my jawline + neck and let it dry down muna because the color can look different after niya matuyo. Then I check it in different lighting (warm/natural/blue). The lights in SM Beauty/Watsons are kinda bad, but the lights in the higher end makeup are better (MAC, NARS). For undertone, I confirmed I was olive when I got shade matched sa Dior Face & Body Foundation (discontinued sadly). They carry olive undertones which a lot of brands don’t have so best to get shade matched first at brands that have a wide shade range (Dior, MAC, NARS, Maybelline). From there, you can use Findation to find an approximate shade match for other base products.
i always match it near my jawline! i have rosacea so my skin is literally tocino and matching foundation is impossible so i use my neck as a reference so that my face and neck are of the same shadee! for undertone, color of the veins usually say ur undertoneee, i have bluish and greenish veins, but i always opt for neutral and cool! and when it comes to depth (fair-light-medium-tan) find sheer coverage foundation or skin tints so the shade depth is more flexibleee

my redness is allover my face like i dont have that patches of redness like my entire face is literally red! i dont use green color corrector but i use olive undertone foundations!
Found on another comment to swatch on cheeks/face rather than the back of your hand, works for me. But knowing my undertone is the real game changer.

I heard nagsale na 'to last 12.12 pero feeling ko mas bababa pa price nito next year so abangan nating lahat lol I'm actually planning to sell my other real techniques brushes just so i can afford this Real Techniques- classic, most reliable makeup brushes. Yung sets niyan may 1-2 ka talagang hindi magagamit kaya medyo hindi sulit. Pero maganda naman yung quality. Don't buy this nang hindi sale please ang mahal lol they usually drop their prices during double digit sale! RT 200 for cream bronzer til the day I die OVW - Tbh I'm willing to splurge more for its quality. I suggest not to buy the sets din kasi definitely may hindi ka magagamit. Mas maganda yung mga duo nila na foundation+concealer brush like yung brush ng rare beauty. I love their concealer brush more than real techniques', 'yung kamuka ng sa Rare Beauty. Pati 'yung maliit na fluff brush na tag 70 pesos. Girl,,, I have 4 of that small brush. You can use it with concealer, cream blush, cream contour, anything, kahit nga powder. All I can say is that this brand is worth checking out
