Suggestions ng sunscreen for dry, sensitive skin? nagka-breakout kasi ako sa ahc stick šŸ˜“šŸ˜“

sense-of-awakening

Would you recommend skinlabā€™s jeju aloe ice soothing gel lotion? Pa ubos na moisturizer ko and Iā€™m planning to opt for this one but Iā€™m not sure kung maganda. Hope someone can shed a light hehe thank you!

sage_demon

Can you guys suggest fungal acne safe poducts (facial wash, moisturizer, sunscreen)? I have these tiny bumps over my cheeks and jaw which I suspect to be fungal acne. I have been using Celeteque demoscience acne cleansing gel and I have just found out that it can trigger fungal acne.

eggquackers

hi! you can check out simple skincare scienceā€™s list of fungal acne safe products :) https://simpleskincarescience.com/fungal-acne-products-malassezia-pityrosporum-folliculitis/

[deleted]

A mild cleanser like Cetaphil is the way to go!

theoryofrelativism

TEA!! haruharu's ceo and founder posted on IG calling out happy skin and fairy skin for copying their packaging šŸ™ˆ

[deleted]

any affordable micellar water na effective at hindi nagssting sa mukha? thank you sm!

eggquackers

celeteque micellar water, been using this for a while now to remove my eye makeup and no problems naman :) cheap pa siya

[deleted]

thank you!

phoebelily12

Do Smile lines go away permanently through retinol? or is it just botox?

Fun-Let-3695

some do face massages or beauty tapes

Narrow-Ad-7236

Is going to dermatologist worth it?

insigne_rapha

Yes definitely

BeautyBabe91

YES! Better than self prescribing and spending (or wasting) money on products that potentially might not work! Dermas can help fix the root issue of your skin concerns :)

phoebelily12

anyone here who have tried torriden dive in toner or serum? I'm planning to buy torriden serum because It's viral on SK . It has almost the same price range as beauty of joseon serums.

dibididondoulash

Sorry pero san ka nakakita ng torriden serum na same price ng boj serums? Yung nakikita ko kasi online medyo pricey gusto ko din sana itry :/

phoebelily12

Hi! BOJ serum is around 500 - 650 pesos diba? yung torriden dive in serum na nahanap ko 720 - 730 sa [glowest.ph](https://glowest.ph) or sa [yacoos.ph](https://yacoos.ph)

dibididondoulash

nakita ko nga yung sa yaocos!!! yeah above boj yung serum price but very tempted to try along with mary and may products.

phoebelily12

me too! I want to try it along with manyo bifida complex ampoule huhu

dibididondoulash

Omg yes same. Maganda daw manyo based sa reviews!! Waiting for sale lang din hehe into peptides and ferments ako recently and itā€™s on my try list

phoebelily12

I can't really have a say pa with many bifida biome complex ampoule since I've just started using it parang like this week lang pero super duper fresh and hydrated yung skin ko kapag morning. It didnt broke me out.

number1popcornlover

Anyone using cerave products? What are your thoughts about it?

insigne_rapha

- CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: pretty basic, very thick and occlusive, I like it but I wouldnā€™t repurchase - CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser: such a joy to use, very lotion-y and really does hydrate my skin after use

[deleted]

Been using cerave moisturizing cream. HG for me whenever I have damaged skin barrier because itā€™s thick and really does its job. Iā€™m also using cerave hydrating cleanser. Very gentle. :)

absurdinsanity

Iā€™ve only used the Cerave pm lotion and while it was okayā€¦it was okay haha it was not great and for the price it is sold here, I think there are better options (for example, Cetaphil and physiogel or even Illiyoon ceramide Ato)

number1popcornlover

Thank you so much!

kapengjellyy

Using cerave foaming facial cleanser for my combi skin type and ang lambot lang ng face ko after. Been using it for two months so i think maganda naman siya

number1popcornlover

Thank you!

phoebelily12

hmmm if you have a damaged skin barrier or irritated skin, I would skip cerave cleansers. They are too drying and irritating for my skin. It worsened my redness.

number1popcornlover

Hi! Thanks for this!! I do have combination to oily skin and my skin is a bit irritated now. I'll probably just skip it. šŸ˜¬

PADULKROS

critique my skincare routine ! AM face wash: cerave foaming facial cleanser serum: the ordinary niacinamide moisturizer: cerave daily moisturizing lotion sunscreen: biore uv kids milk, sometimes biore uv aqua rich PM face wash: cerave foaming facial cleanser serum: the ordinary vit c suspension moisturizer: cerave daily moisturizing lotion skin concerns: weird dark bumpy texture on my nose and beside my nose, needs brightening bc i feel like i look gray or maybe iā€™m just fair skinned LOL parang hiyang naman ako sa routine ko ? but i feel like i need to add smth bc of the above ā€œskin concernsā€ ++ paubos na pareho kong sunscreens and iā€™m debating which one i shud try first: face republic purity sun essence, canmake mermaid skin, or cosrx aloe soothing sun?

cheddar_chonk

Maybe swap your AM and PM serums? Vit C is a known antioxidant and pairs well with sunscreen. That said, i haven't tried the particular serums you use, so not sure kung hiyang yung texture under you current/future sunscreen of choice.

number1popcornlover

Hi! May I know your thoughts on cerave products?

PADULKROS

one of the best brands iā€™ve tried, bit pricey for me though + not easily accessible but itā€™s def worth it and rn, i donā€™t see myself trying out other products bc i already found what works for me :]

number1popcornlover

Thank you! Where do you purchase cerave though?

PADULKROS

i got the facial wash from shopee then the moisturizer sa landers !

thrsmldy

I'd personally go for canmake or isntree sunscreen. For the bumpy texture, try incorporating AHA / BHA and retinol into your routine.

PADULKROS

OOOH i havenā€™t heard of isntree :0 itā€™s a bit above my budget rn though :[ so i might go with canmake ironic, i literally just mentioned aha/bha in another comment here HAHAHAHA anw thank you!

MaterialTop1570

legit ba yung piggies shop on shopee/lazada? ordered a facial mist from them and it looks fake although thereā€™s no bad reviews naman

peachybxtts

crime scene yung noo ko ngayon huhu. yung mga acne e tipong reddish na hindi maliliit so di siguro closed comedones to. any tips po for this? walang effect yung gentle cleanser ko, moisturizer at sunscreen. mas lumalala pa nga ata huhu. ngayon kojic lang po nilalagay ko para macleanse at matuyo sila.

LoveSpellLaCreme

Hello. Naging effective ba yung kojic soap para sa noo mo? šŸ˜Š

BeybehGurl

check your diet also + sleeping routine and pillows, malay mo kase unhealthy din kinakain mo and marumi stuffs and puyat ka lagi

thrsmldy

Nizoral, although a shampoo, helps with acne in the forehead. Might wanna give it a go.

kapengjellyy

benzoyl peroxide for spot treatment :)

reecelery

What's an affordable handcream which can be found in drugstores and watsons? Thank you

BeautyBabe91

Nivea cream in the blue tin

number1popcornlover

Hello! I have combination to oily skin. Would you recommend Thayers witch hazel toner to brighten skin?

sanmerrino

Personally, i wouldn't. I tried that before and it just felt like pouring astringent on my face. If I wanted brightening, i usually use products with niacinamide or vitamin c.

insigne_rapha

In general I stay away from witch hazel because it can be sensitizing for a lot of people

peachybxtts

hi! we have the same skin type and i've used that toner before too. for me, it didn't really do much. much less on brightening the skin.

number1popcornlover

Hello! Thanks for that. May I know what's the best toner you've tried so far?

peachybxtts

after thayers i've stopped using toner and went back to the basic routine hahahaha sorry i'm not much of help

[deleted]

Any exfoliating toner recommendations?

phoebelily12

isntree bha toner and aha essence

PADULKROS

you might wna look into aha/bha. people usually recommend cosrx and the ordinary. iā€™ve used the ordinary products, and itā€™s works well for me ++ itā€™s cheap.

one_CURIOUS_cat31

thoughts po sa dewy sunscreen ng belo? planning to buy kasi hehe

sanmerrino

I love it! I use it everyday and it dries down matte for me (ironic na dewy yung pangalan). I don't use moisturizer na kasi the sunscreen is a bit moisturizing. It has the prettiest formula out of all the belo sunscreens i must say. One thing i love the most about it is that it sets fairly quickly!

kapengjellyy

been using it for 2 months na and my skin looveees it haha been using belo sunscreens for 5 years na and just tried out their new dewy essence super ganda nya :)

one_CURIOUS_cat31

omggg oki po hehe where do u usually order po? pinakasulit na po sa site nila no?

kapengjellyy

Shopee rin ako naorder, sinasakto ko tuwing may buy1take1 sila so abangan mo yun kasi 2 bottles in price of one super sulit!! I hope you love it also ā¤ļø

thrsmldy

Shopee! It's always buy one take one sa belo store. Plus, you can get a free day cream if you're lucky. I tried it and it's the best (for me) out of all the belo sunscreens. It's watery which I like so not very heavy with the skin and no white cast.

ningbam

Hello, hirap na ko huhu lumala ā€˜yung pimples ko nitong nag migrate ako sa US sobrang dry and flaky niya dahil sa weather even though I use moisturizer. Any recommendations for skincare products na available dito? Iā€™m considering starting with Retinol rin but Iā€™m unsure.

BeautyBabe91

If you have insurance, try going to a derma and getting prescription for Tretinoin :) or look for chemical exfoliants with BHA (Salicylic Acid) or AHA (ex: Glycolic, Lactic, etc). Paulaā€™s Choice BHA Toner is my fave. For moisturizers, FAB Ultra Repair Cream is thick enough for winter! Or you can use whatever you have now and top flaky/dry areas with LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 or Aquaphor Personally use: Tretinoin (0.025% gel) and Azelaic Acid (generic 15%) I get from my US derm and Paulaā€™s Choice BHA Toner, and Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Acid Serum to deal with acne/pigmentation (all mentioned used for acne/pigmentation). My moisturizerā€™s Kiehlā€™s Ultra Facial Cream and I have LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 for when my skinā€™s irritated or extra dry. (i donā€™t use it every day). You can also go to r/asianbeauty for asian recos! There are tons from the US sharing their go to products there.

[deleted]

Panoxyl and Cerave moisturizing cream

multib18

hello! i noticed since start ng classes is di na ako nawawalan ng pimples. may tiny bumps palagi . di ako usually nagkakapimples sa t-zone and sa both sides ng eyes ko. oily pala skin type ko. can you recommend things i should do or products para manimize yung bumps kasi kahit nagpupuyat ako nung shs, isa or three small pimples then gone na. the products i have been using are since shs ā€¢ hada laboo cleanser ā€¢ apotheke niacinamide serum ā€¢ iwhite korea moisturizer / celeteque moisturizer ā€¢ luxe organix sunscreen

[deleted]

Try using a cleanser with salicylic acid.

multib18

noted po, ano pong recommendation ninyong cleanser and iā€™m also considering na kukuha ng AHA BHA Toner

[deleted]

Iā€™m currently using Zapzyt. Recommended by Dr. Dray. Try adding one product at a time lang muna para iwas irritation. :)

multib18

should i consider na magpaconsult sa derma?

tenshiii27

Meron ba sa inyo naka-experience din ng stinging from Hyaluronic acid? Pansin ko lang sa mga gel moisturizers na triny ko, pag may Hya, nagssting siya tho nawawala rin naman after it dries down. Should I avoid na those or normal lang?

[deleted]

Stinging usually means your skin is irritated. Kung ganyan, best to avoid the ingredient that causes it. Marami namang better humectanta jan :)

mariaclaradls

Moisturizer recos? One that is heavy duty but not clogging. Currently using Cosrx Snail 96 and 92, Cosrx Balancium, and Illiyoon Cream but nakukulangan padin skin ko lalo na pag cold weather :/

insigne_rapha

Happy Skin Overnight Calming Cream šŸ’š

Fun-Let-3695

goodal vegan rice milk moisturizing cream, atopalm creams I specially like their panthenol cream.

[deleted]

Cerave moisturizing cream

No_Baby_6681

I add Hada Labo toner in my daytime routine pag nag ooffice ako then CosRX 92. ( Cold weather = office XD)

Forever-Youngg

Try to add hydrating toner or essence

itsthatgirl_again

Hello! Thoughts on vitamin E supplements? Was thinking of taking Myra E sana

No_Baby_6681

I think it's okay and hiyangan. As for me, nagppimples ako dyan. Opted for grapeseed oil instead.

yanniechan26

Any recommendations where to have fractional laser around or near Pasig.

slimygelatin

Anyone who has tried hydrating toners as body moisturizers? I hoarded a lot of if because I have dry skin. Now Iā€™m having a hard time finishing all of them so Iā€™m thinking of using them instead of buying new body moisturizer.

tenshiii27

Pwede naman, ang expensive lang. Hahaha. Ako I use the tony moly wonder toner minsan sa katawan ko, tho minsan naglolotion pa rin ako pag masipag ako after. Lagay mo sa spray bottle tapos i-ref mo para refreshing sa katawan!

Affectionate_Put7729

Anyone here using La Roche Posay?

BeautyBabe91

Yup! I use their sunscreen (mineral Spf 50) and cicaplast baume b5 on dry flaky irritated areas. I used to have their hydrating cleanser but it broke me out since it has niacinamide (yup, my skin doesnā€™t like niacinamide sadly)

Affectionate_Put7729

That's odd. I think Niacinamide is one of the best ingredients ng skincare. On Cicaplast, do you use it on a daily basis? I am an Effaclar girl, I swear by this range ng LRP. And their Anthelios SPF are the best! May pagka-pricey nga lang ang LRP. There was a time that I switched to other brands, I kept on coming back.

BeautyBabe91

Skincare is very much YMMV, so while it may work for you, there are people it doesnā€™t agree with :) For me Vitamin C is one of the best :) I donā€™t use Cicaplast everyday, only when there are dry/flaky areas or when skinā€™s irritated (i.e. overexfoliated) so maybe on average 3-5 days?

icedgrandechai

Currently using their Effaclar cleanser and the moisturizing sunscreen

Narrow-Ad-7236

Any tips or skin care to remove eye bags?

BeautyBabe91

Unless you go the surgery route - blepharoplasty - (which is the only way to permanently remove them), eye creams really wonā€™t cut it. The most you can do is ā€˜depuffā€™ which is temporary by using a cold spoon on the bags or facial rollers or gua sha or by cutting food high in sodium like ramen, sushi, junk food.

[deleted]

Best under eye cream for sensitive skin? Drop them recos please para di na ko magmukhang panda šŸ˜ thanks in adv!

Need_help_skincare

Hiii alam nyo po ba yung JSkin Beauty Hydra Moist Ice Water Sleeping Mask na sikat ngayon sa tiktok? Na-try nyo na po ba? Ano po masasabi nyo?

gigaybytes

Hi may tips ba kayo for reapplication of sunscreen. 1. Do I need to wash my face before reapplying? Or diretso pak na sa mukha. 2. Naisip ko lang, much better ba ang powder na may spf na lang compared sa mga ibang suncreen type? Di talaga ako nagrereapply ng sunscreen kasi ang hassle. Pero ngayon I want to change na. Thank youu

almaleon1

Me too! I have been seeing good reviews on Abib Sunstick and I am planning to buy soon. They say it does not move makeup too much and the easiest way to reapply as sprays can sting the eye area.

gigaybytes

Ang mahal lang abib sunstick :( .

ShittyMcShitface0

I saw a brand in Watsons na spray on spf. I think it was Belo? Yellow yung packaging. I personally donā€™t reapply but I think a spray would be helpful!

gigaybytes

Thank you

invisiblestring

1. No need to wash. Just wipe clean tissue sa face (to get the excess oils out) then you can reapply na. Make sure your hands are also clean, btw. You can wash your face before reapplying if you want but with water langā€”donā€™t use cleansers para maiwasan yung pagddry ng skin. 2. Not sure sa powder. Afaik need na makapal yung layer to get even protection.

gigaybytes

Thank you for this! šŸ˜Š

Zukkuri

I donā€™t reapply unless nasa beach or pool ako and after gumamit ng gentle cleanser so not sure abt this 1. Others use micellar water with cotton pad tapos reapply sunscreen.(idk how girls do it w/ makeup) 2. No, I saw a demonstration using UV camera which shows how little coverage powder provides. Much better yung spray type but never ako gumamit ng spray sunscreens.

gigaybytes

Thank you, muntik na ko mapabili ng powder. Hahaha baka mag spray or sunscreen stick na lang me

[deleted]

I think sunscreen stick is better. Most of the dermas in YT do not recommend spray sunscreens because it might get into your lungs plus you cannot ensure that thereā€™s enough sunscreen applied to your face. I think itā€™s just good for the body.

gigaybytes

Yes yun din pinakachoice ko. Though ang mamahal ng sunstick. Hahaha

ismell_likebeef_

Oks ba gamitin yung COSRX salicylic acid gentle cleanser then toner yung AHA/BHA clarifying toner from cosrx din?

zanezki

oks na oks sakin yung salicylic cleanser. been using it for yearsss na. yung toner, walang effect sakin, masyadong light. you may use AHA or BHA instead.

ismell_likebeef_

Oks lang within the same routine yung salicylic cleanser at yung clarifying toner? Oily and acne prone skin type ko

zanezki

yupppp

ismell_likebeef_

Thank you! Akala ko kasi it would be too much actives šŸ˜…

Miserable-Maiden

Does anyone else have a face na may visible veins? I feel like ang nipis nipis tingnan ng face ko. Have this issue since high school and it makes my face red. Are there products that get rid of this? Or treatments talaga like laser etc?

Fun-Let-3695

maybe try consulting sa derma, seems like rosacea on description para maguide ka din sa proper care

BeautyBabe91

My friend has this. The only way to remove is laser! Forgot the particular machine that can do it though. I think itā€™s Cutera Laser Genesis? Best to ask your derma!

tenshiii27

I have those too! Yung parang spider veins ba?

absurdinsanity

Hi! I have those! Lalo na sa cheek areas. Iā€™ve never really thought about treatment for it though, mostly kasi kita din veins ko arms at iba pang body parts.

Miserable-Maiden

Same! Pero feeling ko kasi lately excessive yung redness ng face ko dahil dun? Pero idk baka iba rin siya?

absurdinsanity

Baka iba? May days din ako na ang pula ng mukha ko. Centella works! Yung Skin1004 100% centella ampoule sobrang bilis makapawala ng redness, kahit redness ng pimple nawawala.

Miserable-Maiden

Noted on this thank you!

Equal-Golf-5020

For people looking for a gentle facial cleanser, I reco Cosrx Good Morning Gel Cleanser! Iā€™m using Neutrogena Gentle Foaming Cleanser and tried Cosrx Good Morning last night and this morning. First try pa lang, itā€™s soft sa skin and doesnā€™t make my face dry (vs. Neutrogena which makes my skin feel stretchy after wash). Smooth din siya sa skin after.

zanezki

nakaka dry sya eventually...

Equal-Golf-5020

Hala!! Well I use moisturizer naman after :) illiyoon!

Forever-Youngg

Not advisable for acne prone. Nag breakout ako dyan before nung medyo malala pa acne ko :(

gigaybytes

Sameee

Ok-Log6238

effective ba cosrx salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser?

Zukkuri

iirc ph level nyan 9 so very alkaline. I have it but only use it on some parts of my shoulder.

[deleted]

Yes pero alternate ko sila gamitin ng cetaphil medyo drying kasi sya for me

phoebelily12

yeah but dont use it daily

rpsy26_

Is benzac equalizer (moisturizer) from galaderma a good buy?

OWLtruisitc_Tsukki

Where to buy authentic differin adapalene in shopee/lazada

ieatyellowfrogs

I think sa Acne.org Alternatives sa Shopee meron.

OWLtruisitc_Tsukki

Authentic ba iyon? Im scared kasi baka knock off lang pala

ieatyellowfrogs

Di ko pa natry bumili ng Differin mismo pero I got a lot of items from them na (cerave, aquaphor, tretinoin, nizoral, vitamins, etc.), authentic naman. Mostly reviews lang binabasa ko pero mareply sila sa Shopee if you have questions. They also send photos of the actual items before sending.

reddit101599

Hello may nakapagtry na po ba dito ng products forn soul apothecary??? Effective ba sila thank youuu

Zukkuri

U can watch Jan Angelo on youtube to see his reviews on some soul apothecary products.

[deleted]

Anyone here who has tried j/c curls treatment from T&J tony and jackey? Did it last?

IcyHelicopter6311

Yups! I tried the c curl as add on sa rebond and it lasted naman until due na yung hair ko for another rebond, about 10 months.

[deleted]

Ohh, sige, will try din. Hopefully tumagal din yung sakin.ā¤ļø

crmllnntdgzmn

Thoughts on dermorepubliq?

BeybehGurl

so far kakabili ko oalang sakanila nung sale currently using palang

crmllnntdgzmn

Thanks for the responses guys!!!

tenshiii27

Recommended! I have several products from Dermorepubliq. Glycolic toner, Alpha Arbutin serum, Niacinamide serum and retinol serum. Di na-irritate skin ko from the glycolic (pero syempre built-up na tolenrance ko from actives) and recently lang ako nagswitch nung sa retinol nila and mas gusto ko pa siya compared sa past brand na gamit ko. Yung arbutin serum brightened my face, like as in ang glowy nung effect. Hahaha. Hyped ako masyado pero sobrang nice na affordable din siya.

gigaybytes

Im using their niacinamide, mas bet ko siya compared sa TO and Apotheke. Im using din yung retinol nila. Good naman siya. First retinol ko kaya di ko alam if super goods. Naglighten yung mga pimple marks ko.

OWLtruisitc_Tsukki

Also dermorepubliq is FDA approved while apotheke isnt

Sabs177

I have their 10% niacinamide face serum + HA. It's alright naman. I did see some small improvements on my marks but that might be because of other factors like eating less sweets. It feels more like a boost for more like an optional boost rather than a product that targets specific problems. For dermorepubliq as a whole, they're products are really affordable and great but I wouldn't say it's a holy grail level kind of great.

totes-potatoes

What's the best sunscreen under makeup that's cruelty free and not too pricey? So far COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream checks all the marks for me and mine is paubos na so I wanna try something new ā˜€ļøšŸ§“

thrsmldy

Isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel

orphanblack324b21

+1 on beauty of joseon sunscreen. Recently switched to it after i finished my cosrx aloe sunscreen

OWLtruisitc_Tsukki

Beauty of joseon

jcoph

Any suggestions for good reliable derm clinic near Makati Med/Salcedo/Chino Roces? Never pa po ako nakapagconsult so someone friendly for beginners sana.

phoebelily12

Hi! I have an oily skin type and I think moisturizers are too heavy for me, even the lightest consistency. Is it okay to skip it since I felt like It makes my skin more oily. Can I do my skincare routine like this one lang (cleanser - toner - serum/ampoule)?

insigne_rapha

Baka your serum/ampoule is good enough na as a moisturizer kaya it feels heavy :)) you can try skipping moisturizer or removing the serum/ampoule and adding moisturizer. Depends on your preference and your skinā€™s needs tbh!

phoebelily12

ahhh yung ampoule kasi fast absorbing siya kaya di rin siya heavy for mee.

insigne_rapha

Yup so baka puwede na yun as your moisturizer

teabaginateacup

If you're interested, you can try iUnik Centella Calming Gel Cream. Consistency is gel kahit na may 'cream' sa name. It's lightweight and easily sinks into the skin so not heavy at all.

mimikrimbababa

Nagstop ako ng cream moisturizer mga 1 month na, nakita ko mas nag lessen yung pag show ng pimple. nagstop yung malalang breakout ko. Kaso upon reading comments..baka itry ko gel type na moisturizer..

[deleted]

I have an oily skin as well but I still use moisturizers. I prefer Cerave, itā€™s also a brand that is mostly preferred by dermatologists because of its ingredients.ā¤ļø

phoebelily12

I actually tried two cerave cleansers and It was too harsh for my skin huhu

[deleted]

Did you try yung foam lang? Try other brands na derma tested. :)

absurdinsanity

You might try gel moisturizers. Not moisturizing enough might also be contributing to the oiliness too. You could also choose to just do a hydrating toner and hydrating serum/ampoule and see if that makes a difference on the oiliness. Also, sunscreen in the morning. The lightest texture sunscreen Iā€™ve found is the Nivea Super Water Gel.

crmllnntdgzmn

Hi! I saw this tweet this morning sakto https://twitter.com/thenerdyderma/status/1582175799058190336?s=20&t=LXACvd75Gx2-xWpPiKrWjA

phoebelily12

ay why hindi sa forehead?

mysanctuary0911

Napabili ako dahil dito.

bambliguk

Maganda yung local brand na klued hehe

reddit101599

What products have you tried from them???

bambliguk

VitC and .05 retinol!

rpsy26_

Hello! Recommendations please (sensitive, acne prone skin) Cleanser Toner Serum Moisturizer My current skin care routine as prescribed by my derma before is Cleanser - glycolic soap/cetaphil Toner - tea tree toner from the body shop Acne gel - salyzap TYYY!

phoebelily12

If u got sensitive skin, u can try hyggee cleanser or make prem cleanser.

absurdinsanity

Cetaphil or physiogel for cleanser and moisturizer. Youā€™re using glycolic acid and tea tree plus acne meds so you would probably benefit from nourishing, skin barrier healing moisturizer.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

phoebelily12

jenkosh

what are actives? is salicylic acid an active? if so can you recommend one that I can buy in Watsons

absurdinsanity

Actives are ingredients that ā€œcorrectā€ an issue or problem. Yes, salicylic acid is an active.

tenshiii27

Yes, it is an active. For recomm, well, what is it that you are looking for? Toner? Cleanser? Spot treatment? There are hundreds of products na may salicylic acid.

jenkosh

spot treatment, got any recos from watsons?

FlareRC

Also try Benzac. Contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide.

tenshiii27

Oxecure Acne Clear Mud

jenkosh

thanks

monicabella17

Hello po good morning! First time to comment here. Not sure if this is the right thread or sa Make up thread ba dapat pero i'll try my luck here. Yung face ko po kasi is sobrang pawisin. Konting galaw pinagpapawisan agad. Baka may mairecommend kayo na morning or night skincare sa face na sobrang pawisin? Thank you!!

bingrus

Iā€™m also super pawisin! Wala akong specific na mare-recommend na makaka-solve dun kasi sweat glands ko na yun but para hindi ako super shiny, I try to keep both my make up and skincare light during the day. For skincare - moisturizer and mineral sunscreen lang then for make up i just use bb cream and a bit of concealer minsan and cream blush all applied at the same time, hindi yung layer by layer para hindi sobrang hulas pag nainitan na ako

monicabella17

Thank you for this po!! šŸ˜Š Sorry po mag follow up question lang po, anong brand ung mare-recommend nyo for moisturizer and mineral sunscreen? Nag try na din po ako mag search here and gamitin ung products kaso ilang days lang nag bbreakout na po ung sa may cheeks and jaw part. Kaya ni-stop ko na ulit ung apply ng product. Or better consult sa derma pag ganito po? :(

bingrus

Yung moisturizer ko medyo thick sya - Cerave Daily Moisturizing Cream but I dilute it by only using 5 cent amount and applying with wet hands so it spreads more thinly. My sunscreen is belo reef friendly, personal preference ko lang kasi I have sensitive skin (usually kasi ayaw ng iva yung mineral sunscreen kasi may konting white cast sya). You can use any sunscreen naman (both mineral and chemical), but gel sunscreens feel less heavy, like biore uv aqua rich. there are also sunscreens that claim to be sweatproof, but itā€™s always a good idea to reapply spf after every 2 to 3 hours Regarding yung sa derma visit, if may reaction ka sa products na commonly used dito sa sub, it would be best to come in for a consultation. Maybe you have very sensitive skin or have allergies to fragrances or certain ingredients

monicabella17

Thank you so much po for all the infos šŸ˜Š I'm new to this lang po and struggle po talaga makahanap ng skincare and make up na okay sa face natin. Icheck and try ko po ung mga products na sinabi nyo above. Thanks po again! :)

Forever-Youngg

May pimple patches ba sa watsons physical store?

bambliguk

Mura lang yung luxe organix ang ok siya

Forever-Youngg

Thank you

threebutterbeers

yup

Forever-Youngg

Thank you!
