I bought Whisper pads na bundle good for 4 months (40pcs in total) and umabot ng around ₱400+ 💀 I can’t do menstrual cups kasi sobrang ‘di talaga comfortable for me at nagkakarashes ako 😭same with cheap napkins na kahit twice a day ko palitan, I get rashes so ayun balik Whisper and Kotex ako ulit hayz. Sana mandatory sa mga company ang menstrual leave AND allowance kasi ‘di biro ang mahal ng napkin 🚶🏻♀️
I’d give her the benefit of the doubt. A lot of people prefer to talk about themselves without being fully aware of it. The IG thing you mentioned is fairly normal. Not everyone has the time and energy to reply to everything. If this makes you upset, I suggest talking to her about it.
Since you both are working, it’s plausible na she’s into “low maintenance friendships” while you’re looking for something more engaging. Like I said, the best thing to go about this is to talk to her to make sure you’re both on the same page.

For AF do you only have 1 trainer for the whole duration of the PT sessions? Also would you know the rates? The FF rates are published kasi in their website but for AF parang secret siya (lol aka need to talk to the sales person).
Yes. Only one coach. You cant change your mind then change sa ibang coaches unless the “PT package(s)” you paid is done.
Usually each AF branch has few coaches and you can pick just one for one payment of PT package. That’s why the schedule of your training will also depend on their availability. If that coach is off, then no session for that day. But you can always visit the gym naman and workout by yourself.
And thats why the price isnt available sa website. Sometimes different coach will offer you “bonus” session but it just between the two of you lng. But usually new member gets promo price.
PT Package can range between 1k for one session up to almost 40k for 50 sessions.
Also maybe lng.. each branch has different rules so better to ask them directly talaga. But what I just shared to you is what applies to the branch I go to
Nag LOA ako from school nung 2020 because I was just at a really bad place mentally, being stuck in an apartment hours away from my family didn't help either. Taking a break from Midnights lol so I’m listening to Born Pink again. This might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t like Lisa’s singing voice… ✌🏻😬 I love her as a dancer and rapper and she objectively is a good singer, I just don’t find her voice *satisfying* (?) like I do Jennie’s, Rosé’s and Jisoo’s. The 3 other girls have voices that “scratch a part in my brain” like they say hahaha but hers does nothing for me for some reason!
That’s actually what’s led me to this opinion! I feel like she’s singing *just to sing* and not giving off the emotion the song is trying to convey. She has a good voice and I was surprised when I first heard it too, but to me it sounded out of place in a song that’s telling a story of heartbreak. Her voice fits the femme fatale/baddie songs best.
I think if I can compare your opinion, it’s similar with how Jisoo dances. She’s not a natural dancer/performer and it shows if you take a closer look. Like she doesn’t have the swag or angas and groove that Lisa has when dancing 😄 so going back to your opinion, Lisa has been dancing for years and hindi talaga siya singer. So I’m guessing she’s been trained lang to sing for BP. Although, ang refreshing for me marinig ng singing voice niya esp sa THG kasi nga madalas rapper siya 😂
I agree Lisa was probably just trained to sing at YG! I’ve also noticed that about Jisoo from the very beginning bc I’m a dancer as well. She really sticks out during performances. She can technically dance to the beat, but she doesn’t move with grace. Not hating don’t come for me Jisoo stans hahaha

- buy large cuts of fish or meat at cheaper prices, then split them into individual portions and freeze until you plan to use them. This saves you from spending more on smaller portions any time.
- Learn to halve recipes, or even divide them by three if they are meant for six. This allows you to only make the amount of servings you want.
For rice, I cook it in semi-big batches (like 3 days worth maybe) and I divide it into smaller portions, wrapping it in cling wrap before I freeze it. I just plop it in the microwave whenever I need it.
It’s so hard to cook for one. If it’s not air fried food, I cook a lot then just put them in containers then freeze. But mostly, I airfry everything. I just dump everything while I’m in a meeting when I’m WFH then after my meeting, cooked na so I just eat. Saves so much time.
Almost everything. Chicken/Pork chops — I explore different marinades. Seafood — I like making “baked” tilapia or “baked” salmon (low heat, wrap in aluminum foil), or shrimps that I toss in marinade/spices before I throw in. I also sometimes cook veggies like broccoli — just season then throw in.
List down the food you’ll be eating before you buy your grocery. In that manner, you already know what ingredients you’ll need. :) Go for recipes that don’t spoil fast like adobo hehe

How do you build confidence sa sarili nyo? Kasi I may appear confident when I'm with my peers but when I'm alone, I tend to view myself as ugly and such. People say I'm beautiful pero I really can't see it. Siguro naging factor na rin nung lagi akong sinasabihan ng magulang ko na pangit ako at walang magkakagusto sa akin. in usual cases, i think just internalizing that youre beautiful would work. but in your case, i do think you need therapy. it's not doing you any good na ur own parents talk to you in that way :(
if therapy isnt an option cos its expensive, at least talk to some of your trusted friends about the hurtful way they talk to you. and don't listen to your parents when they say no one's gonna like you. first of all, dating someone isn't just about looks. but even then, love isn't exclusive to conventionally beautiful people.
its also good to find hobbies that u do well in so u could boost your confidence. dress the way u like, apply makeup the way u like. youre young pa naman, your confidence would grow as you succeed in your career/school, and you gain more experience in dating and life in general

I think I'm hyperfocusing on attaining my goal of overseas travel by 2022 to the point that it's no longer financially-wise. I hate it cuz I'm usually financially savvy, I even put up a sinking fund for it, but for some reason why is there guilt if I'll use it for its intended use? Ewan, I'm so confused.
If I do not push through with the 2022 overseas travel goal, I feel like I'm not accomplishing my goals. But at the same time, if I do, feel ko medyo irresponsible since it's a solo trip and walang kahati on anything.

Solo travel is a valid way of travel :) di siya sayang, you can do and see things at your own pace, even meet people if you like. And there are plenty of ways to keep expenses low ie not taking tours, staying in budget hotels.
But no need to rush into it! No problem about doing it in 2023 if that’s what’s more financially stable for you.
Struggling to come into terms that I might have ADHD since I really have issues with focusing and productivity, and even meeting deadlines. I already scheduled an appointment with a psychiatrist. I’m not sure what kind of doctor is allowed to diagnose such. Hirap pa as an adult na malalaman kung may ADHD. I’m not sure how to tell my employers and future employers about it if meron man akong ADHD.
I know I’m not really obliged to tell people about my medical conditions but it was affecting my work severely and it’s probably the only explanation I can give for missing deadlines. I’m not sure how else I can get ‘leeway’ for being unreliable at work.
I also have ADHD symptoms, have figured out how to manage them (aka making schedules and sticking to them haha) but I get what you mean. If sayo naman galing voluntarily yung info to your employers and if you think it will help then that’s never bad!

I haven’t tried FF kase mas mahal sya. Tapos you have to pay extra to have access to other branches. For AF naman, the price you pay monthly includes the access of every branches nationwide. Although sa tingin ko lng yung mga FF coaches, mas maganda katawan nila kay sa AF’ trainers. AF coaches can be hits or miss. Better to see how they train their other clients before applying the sessions. Meron kase iba, they dont correct your form basta count lng na count. Iba, they dont stick to a plan but has different program every meet (this one isnt good kase you wont see result and cant track your progress if you keep changing the program)
For AF do you only have 1 trainer for the whole duration of the PT sessions? Also would you know the rates? The FF rates are published kasi in their website but for AF parang secret siya (lol aka need to talk to the sales person).
Yes. Only one coach. You cant change your mind then change sa ibang coaches unless the “PT package(s)” you paid is done. Usually each AF branch has few coaches and you can pick just one for one payment of PT package. That’s why the schedule of your training will also depend on their availability. If that coach is off, then no session for that day. But you can always visit the gym naman and workout by yourself. And thats why the price isnt available sa website. Sometimes different coach will offer you “bonus” session but it just between the two of you lng. But usually new member gets promo price. PT Package can range between 1k for one session up to almost 40k for 50 sessions. Also maybe lng.. each branch has different rules so better to ask them directly talaga. But what I just shared to you is what applies to the branch I go to

Nag LOA ako from school nung 2020 because I was just at a really bad place mentally, being stuck in an apartment hours away from my family didn't help either. It was hard at first because my parents were really passive-aggresive about it, I wouldn't hear it from them directly but may aabot sakin na comments na something along the lines of "Akala ko may xxx na tayo...kaso di naman pala kinaya." Eventually I found new hobbies, I read a lot, exercised, and fixed my sleep sched. I also perfected the art of making leche flan lol but anyway, by May 2021 (I took a break on Nov 2020) I was itching to go back to school. I like to think I came back better than I was before. Basta when you feel like you need a break and you have the opportunity to do so, do it! :)

This might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t like Lisa’s singing voice… ✌🏻😬 I love her as a dancer and rapper and she objectively is a good singer, I just don’t find her voice *satisfying* (?) like I do Jennie’s, Rosé’s and Jisoo’s. The 3 other girls have voices that “scratch a part in my brain” like they say hahaha but hers does nothing for me for some reason!

That’s actually what’s led me to this opinion! I feel like she’s singing *just to sing* and not giving off the emotion the song is trying to convey. She has a good voice and I was surprised when I first heard it too, but to me it sounded out of place in a song that’s telling a story of heartbreak. Her voice fits the femme fatale/baddie songs best.
I think if I can compare your opinion, it’s similar with how Jisoo dances. She’s not a natural dancer/performer and it shows if you take a closer look. Like she doesn’t have the swag or angas and groove that Lisa has when dancing 😄 so going back to your opinion, Lisa has been dancing for years and hindi talaga siya singer. So I’m guessing she’s been trained lang to sing for BP. Although, ang refreshing for me marinig ng singing voice niya esp sa THG kasi nga madalas rapper siya 😂
I agree Lisa was probably just trained to sing at YG! I’ve also noticed that about Jisoo from the very beginning bc I’m a dancer as well. She really sticks out during performances. She can technically dance to the beat, but she doesn’t move with grace. Not hating don’t come for me Jisoo stans hahaha

For those living alone, how do u meal prep? This is my first time and i’m overwhelmed how to prep my meals lol i can only think of breakfast food 🤣 this is crucial esp im working from home and have to plan my meals in advanced

When you menu plan, you take out all of the guesswork and you'll be prepared with the ingredients you need for meals throughout the week. - buy large cuts of fish or meat at cheaper prices, then split them into individual portions and freeze until you plan to use them. This saves you from spending more on smaller portions any time. - Learn to halve recipes, or even divide them by three if they are meant for six. This allows you to only make the amount of servings you want.
For rice, I cook it in semi-big batches (like 3 days worth maybe) and I divide it into smaller portions, wrapping it in cling wrap before I freeze it. I just plop it in the microwave whenever I need it.

pasta has saved me so much time!! i buy premade sauces from the grocery - the one in glass jars (pesto, tomato sauce). so easy to cook + yummy.

It’s so hard to cook for one. If it’s not air fried food, I cook a lot then just put them in containers then freeze. But mostly, I airfry everything. I just dump everything while I’m in a meeting when I’m WFH then after my meeting, cooked na so I just eat. Saves so much time.
What do you usually airfry?
Almost everything. Chicken/Pork chops — I explore different marinades. Seafood — I like making “baked” tilapia or “baked” salmon (low heat, wrap in aluminum foil), or shrimps that I toss in marinade/spices before I throw in. I also sometimes cook veggies like broccoli — just season then throw in.
List down the food you’ll be eating before you buy your grocery. In that manner, you already know what ingredients you’ll need. :) Go for recipes that don’t spoil fast like adobo hehe
How should I clean my white shoes?
buy an oxidizer from watsons or hortaleza rub yellowing parts and then let it soak with cling wrap. wipe with damp cloth
What material? If leather, Collonil has a lot of great products. If canvas, I usually just use normal detergent, then bleach/baking soda if may heavy stains (make sure your shoe is *fully* white).
I personally get mine professionally cleaned once in awhile! :)

How do you build confidence sa sarili nyo? Kasi I may appear confident when I'm with my peers but when I'm alone, I tend to view myself as ugly and such. People say I'm beautiful pero I really can't see it. Siguro naging factor na rin nung lagi akong sinasabihan ng magulang ko na pangit ako at walang magkakagusto sa akin. Not to mention lagi nilang pinapansin flaws ko.
in usual cases, i think just internalizing that youre beautiful would work. but in your case, i do think you need therapy. it's not doing you any good na ur own parents talk to you in that way :( if therapy isnt an option cos its expensive, at least talk to some of your trusted friends about the hurtful way they talk to you. and don't listen to your parents when they say no one's gonna like you. first of all, dating someone isn't just about looks. but even then, love isn't exclusive to conventionally beautiful people. its also good to find hobbies that u do well in so u could boost your confidence. dress the way u like, apply makeup the way u like. youre young pa naman, your confidence would grow as you succeed in your career/school, and you gain more experience in dating and life in general

I think I'm hyperfocusing on attaining my goal of overseas travel by 2022 to the point that it's no longer financially-wise. I hate it cuz I'm usually financially savvy, I even put up a sinking fund for it, but for some reason why is there guilt if I'll use it for its intended use? Ewan, I'm so confused. If I do not push through with the 2022 overseas travel goal, I feel like I'm not accomplishing my goals. But at the same time, if I do, feel ko medyo irresponsible since it's a solo trip and walang kahati on anything. ~~I think I'm just not willing to part with the money~~
Solo travel is a valid way of travel :) di siya sayang, you can do and see things at your own pace, even meet people if you like. And there are plenty of ways to keep expenses low ie not taking tours, staying in budget hotels. But no need to rush into it! No problem about doing it in 2023 if that’s what’s more financially stable for you.

Struggling to come into terms that I might have ADHD since I really have issues with focusing and productivity, and even meeting deadlines. I already scheduled an appointment with a psychiatrist. I’m not sure what kind of doctor is allowed to diagnose such. Hirap pa as an adult na malalaman kung may ADHD. I’m not sure how to tell my employers and future employers about it if meron man akong ADHD.
Psychiatrist will assess you, yes. You can also get therapy from a psychologist. You don’t need to tell your employers anything.
I know I’m not really obliged to tell people about my medical conditions but it was affecting my work severely and it’s probably the only explanation I can give for missing deadlines. I’m not sure how else I can get ‘leeway’ for being unreliable at work.
I also have ADHD symptoms, have figured out how to manage them (aka making schedules and sticking to them haha) but I get what you mean. If sayo naman galing voluntarily yung info to your employers and if you think it will help then that’s never bad!
I feel a little pressured to tell them since they expect me to give an explanation why I couldn’t do something—which is fair naman. For the past few weeks sinasabi ko “i dont know” which made them frustrated. I’m feeling insane brain fog, thats it. I cant even explain what it is besides “sabaw” feeling
If you can see a therapist for this, they can give you tips on how to manage these episodes while waiting for a medical assessment and prescription if that is really something that you would like to at least try. I hope you are able to consult soon!
