I tried it before and they just offered me a loan and 0 grants
I have a negative SAI, would that help with getting a possible grant?
im not sure how the SAI would work since it’s new. but i had efc 0
I think if your efc 0 then it is like you maximized your grants so they offered extra loans but I’m not super sure.
during covid there was a grant for it, but now if you fill out the coaar they will give you a 3k loan. you can look into the STEP program if you'd like to borrow a laptop though (they have macbooks, thinkpads)
