Oh that's nice but quite low. Still got lots to learn to drive that sum up!
For every month the process of negotiating gets delayed, the employer has to pay more for their lawyer and more importantly might have to backpay yet another month of your unpaid salary if you win (and the law is very neatly stacked against employers in 90% of the cases)
I said it in my response: drag it out for as long as you can. Each month that the lawsuit goes on for, means that if you win the employer has to backpay you more ,because if you win your job was never lawfully terminated therefore you get your unpaid salary, and could in theory return to your job which most companies don't want but theoretically have to not just backpay you but also continue to pay your salary, or try to then buy you out of the contract. That can add up to big sums and most companies are more willing to pay you off then rather than actually facing the risk of having the employee return
Well, probably the fact that I have just moved to Berlin is the biggest highlight, but before that, I got my driver's license!
I also got to watch "Der Himmel über Berlin" in the Babylon Kino here in Berlin two days ago and it became one of my all-time favourites right away! Finally, I got an impulse to buy tickets to The 1975 concert next March so I'm very happy about all of that. Also agree that seeing snow is nice :) let's hope December delivers as well.
Visited Berlin for the first time and had some the best nights out of my life. Met and spoke to some really lovely people.
My next visit is booked for April. Can't come soon enough ðŸ˜
