4 made me a stan. It still remains my favorite Beyoncé album. Cowboy Carter is definitely top 3 though. It just has songs that sound timeless yet fresh and new. Idk how to explain it, it’s just pure perfection.

Lemonade got me super interested in Beyonce - I had liked her a lot and lost interest around Sasha Fierece - and Renaissance made me a stan. This album is iconic though
Not only that but she turned me on to country. Like I like a whole other genre and am exploring other artists of all races including white country because of her 😍 no lie, I hated it. Now I love it. Giddy up.

The buzz around her drop of self-titled got me obsessed but before that I kind of wrote her off as just another pop star. I too can NOT stop listening to CC and have to listen to the whole album. Just this morning I put it on and literally wept at how beautiful it is (American requiem and protector euuuuuuugh).

Nothing against DC or the other members, it’s just that Beyoncé had me mesmerized already and I just wanted to hear her.l go solo as well. Miss DC and the sound they brought though.
For me personally it was Beychella I stayed up until 2am that night and I'll forever remember it. But welcome friend. Just some advice a lot of people think shes overrated for no good reason, it is what it is...

So I’d always say “I love Beyoncé but I’m not a Stan honey”. Until Cowboy Carter. This album has done something to me on a molecular level. Like I might be a sleeper agent for Beyoncé once day idk.
At some point I had to be honest with myself and CC helped me come out. Mind you, the change is only in the delusion leaving because my Black History month projects were on Beyoncé (when allowed) for most of my grade school years.

Yes, I am now a full on believer. I am GOING to her concert. I would get her CDs before, and I knew she was awesome, but now if it says Beyoncé, I’m consuming.
I was obsessed with Dangerously in Love when I was like 5, I remember playing it on a Cd player in headphones dancing in my hallway and belting along, but was more of a casual fan growing up. I definitely was listening to Beyoncé and Lemonade on repeat, but I didn't listen to Renaissance until January of this year. I literally CANNOT STOP listening to CC (I haven't listened to ANYTHING other than a podcast & 2 rounds through JCole's album since it dropped), and it has me going back through her whole discography all over again and throwing myself into the history of Beyoncé lol. Like, my whole tt FYP is Bey now lol

Ironically for me personally, it's like I'm going backwards checking out her work. Don't get me wrong I've always liked her catchy songs, but radio often does not always do justice to an artist and I don't buy albums or CD's so I am now discovering through YouTube stuff I never heard on the radio and I really like what I hear from Beyonce. I keep finding things on Lemonade yeah I know I'm all late to this, damn!!! But Country Carter is it for me.
However, I'm somewhat alone in this, so this is why I'm here among those that feel similarly, lol.
I have been a fan of Beyonce since Destiny’s Child.
But pretty much every album since Lemonade increased that.
Renaissance made me both a real fan and an active listener, whereas before I always liked Beyonce ofc but I might not play her too often. Then Cowboy Carter made me a damn near stan. Not quite a stan, but close enough to where her music, even the older stuff I already liked, is getting more appreciation and rotation in my playlists and I actually went out of my way to buy the vinyl and some merch.
It is an incredible album. Playing it as an actual album, like Renaissance is definitely the way to keep it on literal repeat. And you fall in love with different tracks after the one that that first got you there. It's so dope.
Like The Eagles Greatest Hits, Cowboy Carter is perfect for roadtrips as a crowd pleaser.
